    Spring Rolls
    Eric B.

The grilled pork with vermicelli noodles was delicious. One critique: Please julienne the vegetables and chop the lettuce into smaller portions. There were giant pieces in the bowl. Spring Rolls were great as usual and I really like the dipping sauce.

Not sure about $1.80 for a can of pop. That seems exorbitant.

Wow, haven't visited in years. Met a co-worker here for supper. The restaurant is much nicer: modern, cleaned up, more comfortable. Our food was amazing -- we both had pho and we shared an order of dumplings and vegetable egg rolls. Everything was ready quickly and tasted amazing. With the exception of the $1.80 cans of pop, prices seemed reasonable. I look forward to returning !!

Beef Pho with a little spice

I have tried pho at many different places and the pho at The LA Squared does not disappoint. I picked the "a little spicy" option and it was perfect (for a person who likes very spicy food). If you don't like spice maybe skip out on that part, but the broth, noodles, and meat will still be great!

Stopped in for lunch I was told by others this place was good and they weren't kidding. I ordered the egg noodle stir fry it was delicious. Food was cooked fresh and hot, Employees were friendly and very very helpful, for my first time ordering Vietnamese.

Service is great however food is not as good as it used to be. Disappointing they are cutting corners on ingredients.

Not very authentic, noodles were definitely not fresh but boxed, you could tell by the texture, , tasted like pho broth mix as well

I was very disappointed with my visit. It almost hurts to write this review. I tend not to judge restaurants with outdated decor or scuffed walls but I want to feel like I the tables and chairs are clean. I didn't feel like our table was clean and the spoons for use in the middle of the table were sticky and stick together. The spring rolls and pho we got didn't live up to the hype I have heard for years. The staff was nice but you needed to flag someone down for help or even walk to the front when you needed something. I don't think I would visit here again.

Once we stepped inside I noticed the warm, inviting atmosphere, reminiscent of family-run eateries - and this place is a locally owned business, with the owner working every day it's open + he knows my mother and I by name/face even after long periods of us gone! The menu is a celebration of traditional Vietnamese flavors, made from scratch and using fresh, high-quality ingredients. The restaurant's pho is a perfect example: the broth is simmered for hours, yielding a rich, savory base that bursts with layers of flavor, complemented by fresh herbs, crisp bean sprouts, and tender slices of beef. As is done in Vietnamese cooking, the meat is served raw so that it can cook in the steamed broth that is served... I would disregard any negativity about this in other reviews because that is literally how Vietnamese food is eaten and a hater is just ignorant of our culture. My family is Vietnamese, and we enjoy coming here for authentic and traditional Vietnamese cuisine. For many Vietnamese-Americans in Harrisburg, this restaurant is a cultural anchor, with the Asian grocery store attached to the restaurant as well and a hair cut salon across the parking lot. A true gem of a restaurant, def worth visiting!

Outside its easy to mistake this place as a flower or gardening shop but that's just a credit to the owner's wife's passion for gardening and fresh ingredients. Inside is very simple and no frills but thats not a bad thing! We were greeted by the owners wife and seated by their son. I ordered the Pho rib eye and spring rolls and husband got the spring rolls as well and a rice dish. The flavors were so vibrant and fresh! Pho came with the usual cilantro, bean sprouts, etc to customize to your liking. There was nothing left by the time I was done, even drank all the broth. The wife checked on us a few times and graciously bid us fairwell, saying to please come again soon. We saw the owner and his son in the parking lot and chatted with them and another patron who finished before us. Very down to earth family with so many stories to tell. I could talk to them all day. Looking forward to stopping by again to enjoy more of their amazing dishes!

It is authentic Vietnamese food, probably the best for the area, not the best I've had but for the area I am satisfied with the quantity and quality.
