Although both sandwiches were barely warm -- almost to the point where my husband was considering sending it back to the kitchen. He did not as he didn't want to wait for another sandwich to be brought out. The hand-cut French fries were very good. The coleslaw was okay -- certainly not the best I've had, but far from the worst. They also brought out two types of classic complimentary pickles for the table. Again, they were just okay -- I've definitely had better. One thing to note: the classic half sandwich & cup of soup combo comes with fries, but if you order just a classic sandwich, it does not come with fries, both priced at $17.99. My husband got the cup of lentil soup, which he enjoyed. I ordered the potato salad as a side dish, it was very vinegar-heavy and not really to my taste. I ended up bringing it home and doctoring it up, which made it much better. They had good deli mustard on the table, I asked for Russian dressing since I like that on my pastrami sandwich -- that was good. And of course, you've for to have a Dr. Brown's Cel-Ray or any one of the other Dr Brown flavors. All in all, we enjoyed our lunch. Between the food, the service, and the fact that the place is dated, I'd give it a 3 1/2 stars overall. Free on-site parking is a big parking lot as there are several other stores right in the plaza. I wanted to note that this Deli is dairy free. So no chocolate milk, but you can get a classic egg cream.

This isn't a fancy place--they close early, there are no white tablecloths, no wine list, and the décor leans toward gray veneer booths with red seats. But that's exactly the point. You come here for the food, not the frills. The pickles were outstanding--crisp, flavorful, and the kind you keep reaching for between bites. We both had pastrami on fresh, soft rye with great mustard, and it hit the spot completely. The fries were just right too--crispy overall with those smaller, extra-crunchy pieces mixed in. There's something really satisfying about a place like this. Simple, honest food done well. After a full day of work, it made for a relaxed and genuinely enjoyable date night. We'll definitely be back.

The dips were great. The entrees were awesome. I had possibly the best shawarma ever. The shakshuka and falafel were excellent. If not for the miscues, this is a five star restaurant. Would happily give them another chance.

The portion, without exaggeration though, is enough to feed a party of 6. If you have a party of 6 this is great news. However, I'd counter that a smaller size should be available, which would help with the price point. The sandwich was fine. The schnitzel was a little dry, which is always the challenge with schnitzel. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't anything exceptional. When I visited, I was eating on my company's dime, which leads me to my main drawback with Holy Schnitzel - the price. Fries, a can of soda, and a sandwich ran me over $30. If I'm dining at my own expense, for $30 I expect something more than "fast casual" - I want table service. I want free refills (I understand the logistics of a fountain soda machine, but at this price point it's necessary). And, this may be petty, but I want Heinz ketchup. For half the price I'd give this place a solid 4.5 stars. But at $30 a pop, it's just way too pricey for fast casual, portions aside.

The cauliflower is both soft and firm at the same time; it almost melts in your mouth. There's a reason that two times we went to Miznon, they had already run out. Friendly service, and a chill ambiance. They have fresh tomatoes and long green peppers as a living decor, and they will give you a cooked pepper if you like.
