Located in the Rio hotel & casino across from the pool area, this is the main spot for breakfast/brunch in the facility. During my stay at the Rio, I was here pretty much every day for the breakfast and coffee. You can order off the menu for omelettes, pancakes, burritoes, etc. or you can do the breakfast buffet which has all the usual fixings. I went with the buffet as it was convenient and contains some solid items such as biscuits/gravy, pork/turkey sausage, eggs, bacon, and pastries. You can also build your own yogurt parfait with the fruit and yogurt selections. Plus there's an all-you-can-drink juice bar with coffee/tea/juice nearby as well. Alcoholic beverages can be consumed here if you want. Lunch items (i.e. sandwiches, soups, salads, etc.) are served here as well. Haven't tried them as I've mainly stuck with the breakfast. For Hyatt Globalist members, the breakfast is complimentary which is a wonderful perk for having status here. This spot has replaced Hash House a Go Go, a popular Vegas institution. Sounds like people aren't too thrilled with that which I completely get but I wouldn't bash this place until you've tried it. So far, I've been perfectly fine with this spot for breakfast. read more

As a Hyatt Globalist, this has to be one of the lamest complimentary breakfast experiences in Hyatt's portfolio. The whole setup and system is cumbersome and met with poor customer service. Any disconnect between waitstaff and your room info will result in you either being asked to pay or sent down the way to the VIP desk to wait in line there and again at the restaurant. I ate here 2 of 3 days and both experiences were poor. While they offer a full menu, Globalists are confined to a buffet that's just a step above Hyatt Place breakfast spreads. Drinks are unavailable at the buffet, so you're required to order drinks with waitstaff. Both days I completed my meal before I even received my coffee; be sure to order your drinks to go. On the second visit, I had to request my bill three times. If you're Globalist, be patient and maybe it'll be worth it to you. If you're paying for your meal, look elsewhere. read more

to start I have to say that it was a better experience than Hashhouse ever was, and I know they have not been open a year but there is room for improvement. Over all the ambiance is the same as when Hashhouse was here, it has just been painted. Where they were lacking was service, it is on the slow side. We did not order anything too complicated but it took way longer to get the food than it should have and there wasn't a lot of checking in with us even though it was a very slow Monday morning. The food was just okay. I had steak and eggs and the steak was cooked as ordered by wasn't the best quality steak I have had better at the old 2.98 steak and eggs that used to be on Fremont street. Their prices are better than hash house, but the food isn't. I'm not saying it was bad but it should be better than a chain diner and it wasn't. It wasn't an over all bad experience and I will try them again next August when I am there, but I had hoped for better. read more

Came here Saturday for brunch, It was in the Rio & we were staying here that weekend so we came cause it was convenient & across the way from the pool so we were going to hit the pool after! Came with no reservations & luckily there was no wait, we got seated right away! We got our order taken shortly after which was nice! We both got ice tea & it was perfect super refreshing & quiched my thirst haha We then ordered a chorizo skillet with an over medium egg which was delicious! I split it with my bf I wish I would had gotten a full size cause it was that good hahaha But we wanted something savory & sweet so got the pancake rainbow stack which consisted of all 4 types of pancakes: red velvet, matcha, ube, buttermilk! Those were sooooo yummy! Literally the perfect meal, we loved absolutely everything! Our server Trent was the best too! So personable & quick to get us everything we needed. The food is very good and plenty of it. It is different from the Hash House a go-go that was there before. We got the Rio players club deal of $9.99 chicken and waffles. Huge waffle, butter and syrup. The chicken was moist and tender, nice batter on chicken. The only thing we found wrong was the water we were given. Funny taste, over chlorinated or something. My husband and I had breakfast here on a Sunday morning. I ordered a veggie scramble with egg white. It came with hash brown and a biscuit. My husband had scrambled egg whites with a Turkey sausage, has browns and a biscuit with a cup of coffee. The order came out in a reasonable amount of time. My husband said his breakfast was good, basic, nothing by stood out. My scramble was good but had the had the hash brown at the bottom of the scramble which lost some of its crunchiness. The biscuit was only edible with butter. Our server was nice but got busy. She did offer to refill my husband's coffee and my water at the end of our meal. read more

The replacement for Hash House A Go Go might have been a downgrade. The Kitchen Table (no apparent relation to any identically named past businesses in Henderson) is the new breakfast/lunch sit-down spot at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. I was happy to hear that they accept the Rio Rewards dining credit and points. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of the meal. The green and white color scheme is unappealing at best, and when comparing to old photos, it seemed that they simply put a coat of paint over all the previous restaurant's decor. The metal table we were seated at felt incongruous and unwelcoming. I don't even remember the music, if there was any. And our server didn't check in at all in the middle of service, which made me wonder if he was previously employed at some Asian restaurant (spoiler: probably not). The main issue was that the food just plain sucked other than the fries, which were fluffy and crispy and properly seasoned. The rest of it was uninspired and poorly executed. The Pesto Turkey Club Sandwich ($22.00) barely had any pesto flavor or visual presence, with the bacon simply overpowering everything. The Crab Cake Benny ($22.00) featured a mushy patty of minced maybe-crab and a bland spinach layer that did nothing to support the poached egg with properly runny yolk. Its included side, the hash browns, was dense, dry, and burnt. Not that I would go back, but I'd probably get another Double Espresso ($7.00) if I did. Although it was served in an oversized cup, it was strong and not too bitter. They also provided plenty of lemon for my complimentary water when I asked. I have no plans to return to The Kitchen Table. In a sea of mid restaurants at the Rio, it is aggressively mediocre. For the price and selection, it is likely the worst sit-down breakfast type restaurant at any local casino. read more

We were staying at the Rio and decided to have breakfast at their cafe - The Kitchen Table. We were seated right away and placed our order. My son ordered the "Fried Chicken" with biscuits and gravy, and when it came out, it was literally a chicken patty covered in gravy. Not what he was expecting, so we sent it back. He ended up ordering the Hangover Burger, which is a hamburger mixed with chorizo, topped with bacon, egg, and cheese on a croissant, served with sweet potato fries, or you can upgrade to the Parmesan truffle fries. I was really disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. We arrived around 11:00 a.m. with a party of 9 (6 adults and 3 children) and were told there would be a wait. However, after waiting about 40 minutes, I had to approach the host stand myself to ask for an update. At that point, we were told it would be another 10 minutes. We were finally seated around 12:00 p.m., nearly an hour after arriving. The restaurant did not appear overcrowded, and it seemed that no effort was made to combine tables for our group until I inquired about our wait time. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was lacking. I greeted Ricardo with a friendly "Good morning," but received no response. What made this stand out even more was seeing him warmly greet and interact with other guests. It left me feeling unwelcome. I also observed him speaking to servers in a manner that I felt was disrespectful. As a manager, professionalism and respect toward both guests and staff should be a priority. Unfortunately, the delays continued after we were seated. By the time our orders were taken and our food arrived, it was approximately 12:45 p.m. Waiting nearly two hours from arrival to receiving food is excessive, especially for a brunch restaurant. The service overall was average, and the food was just okay. Nothing we ordered stood out or justified the long wait. We were actually considering leaving and going elsewhere before finally being seated. Based on this experience, I would not return. There are better breakfast and brunch options in the area that provide both better service and a more enjoyable dining experience. read more

This place is Mid and this was some of the most unpleasant food I've had as part of a Hyatt breakfast. That includes Hyatt Place breakfasts! Not a great meal by any definition. Had the Biscuits and Gravy with Fried Chicken and the NY Steak as a side. Biscuit: Small, inedible, stale and rock hard. Sent it back. That has to change. Gravy: Nothing to write home about, wasn't terrible. Chicken: Soggy and lacked flavor. More breading than chicken. Just not good. Steak: Not seasoning whatsoever and parts of the steak were sinewy and inedible. Did come out hot, however. I guess you get what you pay for as it was a $12 Steak. Eggs were cold. It would have been nice as they bought things out as they were cooked. I think my server waited on the Steak, which allowed my entree to get cold. Hash Browns? Don't waste your time. Would I go back? I was really looking forward to eating here but it was just a bad experience. I will say that the hostess at the front was very nice and she was the only pleasant part of the experience. She gave us a wait time of 30 minutes which we were fine with but luckily we were seated earlier. It took almost 10 minutes for our waiter to take our order. When he finally came to our table there was no greeting. All he said was "do you have any questions" and when we said no he said "what's your order". The wait time for our food....nearly 30 minutes. I had to ask him to check on our food. Attentive waiters would have been on it and giving us updates if there was a delay. The table next to us who arrived after us got their food before us. Our food finally came out and one of our orders was wrong. He said it would be 5 more minutes. It took 10. He did bring out a plate of fruit as an apology. The food we had: Kids grilled cheese and fries- daughter said it was good Chorizo skillet- son said it was ok. Nothing to rave about. Fried chicken and biscuit with gravy and scrambled egg- chicken was dry and it was like 2 tablespoons of scrambled eggs that were given Pancake sampler- overcooked and just wasn't as good as I thought it would be. Orange juice-had a weird aftertaste, almost tasted oily for some reason Lemonade- had a fly in it Also I believe the manager (tall white skinny man in a suit) was also trying to help around but it's like he doesn't have that sixth sense to make sure the customers are doing well. I knew he could see we were waiting for a long time but he didn't come over to check and ask. He looked at our table several times but nothing. Poor service, mediocre food. My family and I waited for 20 minutes today sitting at the table waiting for a waiter or someone to come over and acknowledge us or at least ask if we wanted to eat something. The lady who sat us down walked past and I asked her if someone could come and take our order. She said someone would be with us to take our order and walked away. I don't understand all the negativity for this restaurant that recently opened at the RIO. I ate here 3 days in a row and entire staff were very friendly and the service was outstanding. Joyce was our server for the 2 days and she was fantastic. All the dishes we had were very good too. The place was pretty crowded and everyone seemed to enjoy the food and service. If you are staying at the RIO, I definitely recommend trying this restaurant for breakfast and lunch. read more

We recently had breakfast at Kitchen Table and really enjoyed our food there. We ordered the OG Classic and Old School Breakfast. Both dishes were very yummy. We had the opportunity to meet the new GM, Ricardo, and he was very nice and friendly. He has done a great job with leading the team at Kitchen Table. The staff seems noticeably friendlier and happier under his management. We also had a chance to meet Chef Mark. He was also very nice and friendly and makes delicious dishes! Me and my family came here for the Super Bowl Event, and was our 4 visit in the last few months. We could instantly tell they had a new Manager his name is Richardo. He really was very appreciative of our feedback, and how his staff seemed more happier and we really enjoyed these small changes because it shows in the whole atmosphere!!
