Recently I visited The Kitchen and I was very pleased and impressed with the food, customer service and speedy service. Their seating area is comfortable and clean. There is a tv for customers to watch, while enjoying food or while the customer awaits their food orders. The space has an inviting vibe and comfortable environment with a laid back chill. The staff were patient and attentive and my overall experience was AWESOME! I consider this to be a hidden gem and a good look for the neighborhood and surrounding areas.

if I could give this place 10 stars I would. Every time I walk in, I'm greeted with the biggest smiles and the best VIBES!! Added fries to my order after I subbed them out for the potato!! And the owner is 100% right you DONT NEED SAUCE FOR THE WINGS. they have a HUGE menu with everything you could want, & the best combos!

I really like coming here but sometimes it's a hit or miss. I hate when they fry the wings too hard and the lil buddy burger is too salty to me. However, I think they have a really good honey gold sauce and seasoned fries. A ten piece combo would run you 20 bucks, which I guess isn't that bad. Definitely not eating it everyday. Service isn't bad either. Just don't expect the food to be done before the time they give you. The koolaid 100 percent sugar and it's so good lol I like this spot, so I'll be back

Kitchen sampler with spicy seasoned wet wings

Went here today and got the kitchen sampler. It came with a burger, 5 wings, a piece of fish and seasoned fries and a drink. It definitely was a lot of food. I got the honey gold wings and my husband got the spicy seasoned wet wings. The burger was pretty good, I asked for grilled onions and didn't get any. For my personal taste if the onions would of been on there it would of made it better. But like I said that's just me. The wings were great and so were the fries. The fish was ok. It had the potential to be really good but unfortunately it had to of been fried in oil that had been used too much and it had that kind of burnt taste but it wasn't burnt. It was crispy though and the fish it self was good. Overall it was good. Had the burger had the grilled onions I asked for and the fish been fried in fresh oil it would of been 5 stars. We will definitely try it out again.

The food however was honestly meh (in my opinion). I got a creole dish and to be fair my dish looked beautiful. The plating was 10/10 but the taste for me left something to be desired. After eating this dish I questioned if I even like creole sauce because it really just wasn't that good. If this is a preference issue, I honestly don't know. I also thought the charcuterie appetizer had a weird mix of items on it from club crackers, to meat and cheese, and random veggies. Not bad but just kind of a weird mix. My husband ordered the salmon and he said it was good, not the best he's had but it was good. Other friends of ours got the white fish among the many other dishes. I did have a salad with these apples on it which was incredibly yummy. I will say though my dish looked amazing some of the other dishes were not plated well. Not to nitpick but to want to be considered a more upscale restaurant which means charging guest more money than say a local Applebee's then knowing how to appropriately garnish or drizzle sauce to elevate at plate is important (see my picture of the chicken dish). All and all not my favorite restaurant but definitely not the worst!!

Waitress came over to introduce themselves and recommend us starters & drinks for the evening. Starters & Drinks: I ordered the Caesar salad & my man got the goat cheese salad. Entree: creole spiced braised pork osso buco & short rib pasta. I give this place a 7.5/ 10 due to the food wait times. I will try on another day

I came with a friend and my mind and tastebuds were on steak... they didn't let us down. The apps we had we fantastic too. The bread and cheese player we ordered opened our eyes to delicious combinations of blueberry jam (which they make there) with a creamy cheese, that I wish I can remember the name of, then drizzled with honey they source locally! The bite was heaven. Then the dinner came. The beef tenderloin presented so beautifully and tasted so much better. The mushroom sauce was perfection with finely balanced flavors. Then I paired it with an Earthquake Cab, . Chef kiss!! Everything was absolutely memorable and enjoyable. One thing they could do to add to the ambiance is blocking the headlights of cars from shining into their restaurant. There are simple things that can be rolled out in front the restaurant to assist. But even with the lights shining they are the best thing I've had in a long time.

Let me start by saying this: I truly enjoy this restaurant. The atmosphere is unique, the concept is fun, and historically the food and service have been reliable. That's exactly why this experience stood out so much. For a party of our size, we would have preferred seating toward the back of the restaurant where it was noticeably warmer and more comfortable. Instead, we were seated in an area that felt a bit chilly, which set the tone for the evening. The bigger issue, however, was with the food and service execution. Four dishes out of our party of twelve were essentially untouched. Two scallop entrées and the Steak Frites were overcooked, tough, and unfortunately inedible. The special ribeye of the night--the most expensive entrée--was also not finished. What concerned me most was that no one from the service team paused to read the table or ask why multiple plates remained full. Only one dish was removed, and there was no follow-up conversation about the others. We spent over $800 that evening, including drinks, appetizers, sides, and desserts, so expectations for attentiveness and quality were understandably higher. When a table leaves several entrées uneaten, that's usually a signal worth acknowledging. After the visit, on January 9, 2025, I took the time to provide feedback privately through OpenTable in the hope that management would review it and respond. Unfortunately, I never received any acknowledgment. Even a brief reply would have gone a long way. Silence, in this case, was disappointing and felt like a missed opportunity to demonstrate care and accountability. I'm sharing this feedback because I believe in the restaurant and want to see it succeed. I work in a customer-facing industry myself, and I know firsthand how small service touches--checking in, asking questions, and following up--can make the difference between a good experience and one that keeps guests coming back. I genuinely hope this was just an off night. I would still consider returning, but I do hope the level of attentiveness and follow-through improves.
