It's been quite some time since I've dealt with employees who are so charmingly incompetent. I must attribute this to the lack of training from the owner. It was quite obvious from them having to constantly consult the equipment manual to program the new key that they were very new to this process. having to wait in an unheated facility for approximately 2 hours was also another red flag. After several trips to the vehicle, the employee admitted he had no idea why the new key would not work. This is not the first time I had to replace a lost remote key, and the process usually takes about 15 minutes. A wonderful personality is a huge attribute when dealing with clients, but without the necessary knowledge, the results will always fall short. read more

Called the online number, which turns out to be a call center, to confirm availability of the car key fob needed. They take details and let me know yes Hackensack has it and they open in 15 minutes. Make 20 minute trip there and guess what.... the sole employee decided not to show up and they're closed today. Other prospective customers looking for them to open. Called call center again to find out that they won't be opening at all that day. That and the abandoned car in front and pile of garbage behind it as it's attached to a closed Sears with a broken glass door is not the best look. Kinda sketchy. read more

I reached out to them via text message (suggested through their site). Was promptly responded to and they took the information. I had a motorcycle that needed new keys because both of our sets were missing. He/she advised me that they could send a tech right away. Unfortunately I didn't get paid until Friday and advised as such. No problem we could make an appointment for Friday. I was quoted a price of $250. I had seen on their website a price of $185 but assumed because the article was old the price had gone up. Then the text got silent. I was told they had to "check with the tech". I said ok great, can I have you name so I can save it in my contacts. No response. I introduced myself, nothing. I tried texting back about 2 hours later and no response. I never heard another word back from them. I have to say I find that kind of behavior unprofessional. Perhaps the tech never responded, I wouldn't know because nobody ever let me know. I eventually found a wonderful Locksmith who had no problem setting an appointment for Friday and was willing to give me his name and all of the information I needed. Perhaps this person was having an off day considering all the positive reviews. I hope that's the case. The person I was texting with seemed very willing to help at first but then dropped off the face of the earth. So glad I didn't put all of my proverbial eggs in one basket. Everyone has an off day once in awhile. So I'm not condeming them. I just find their follow up skills lacking. read more

Took my Nissan Altima here to get a key programmed that I ordered online. The service rep "Gallo" showed me that the online store I bought the key from sent me the wrong Key. Still, he gave it a shot and after some troubleshooting, the key works great! I appreciated that he told me straightforward that it might not work but then put in the effort to make it work. I am a very happy driver thanks to this amazing little place. I had just been told by the big expert locksmith nearby that they did not carry the key with alarm fob for my 2011 jeep patriot. They could order it but with programming it would cost at least $250.!! I came in to this tiny shack next to Sears expecting to be told they cannot help me. But... To my surprise it could be done, for $125, and quickly. Everyone I saw was serviced immediately. The gentleman running it ran into the parking lot with his laptop from which he seem able to program keys for any make and model. read more
