Joe completed the work quickly and efficiently without causing any damage. He ensured operation and charged me exactly what he quoted. Yes, stupid error on my part, but resolved by Joe / A1. I had never used him before but would certainly use him again and refer him to others. Thank you Joe for your patience and time, getting me back into the room, and saving the day!

Most places I inquired had prices that seemed a bit high, or did not have blanks to reproduce the fob. I know electronic key fobs can be expensive, but some places quoted me $275-$350. Then I remembered The Main Lock Shop in Hackensack, that I frequented when I worked in an automotive shop nearby, many many years ago. I was greeted pleasantly by the 2 gentleman behind the counter, told them that I needed a replacement key fob. He asked me for the one that didn't work and promptly when to another room and found a match. Within another 10 minutes he cut the key, programmed it, & came outside to my car to make sure all the features worked. Outstanding Customer Service!!! Best of all, I only paid $178 dollars, a fantastic deal in my mind. I will surely be back for all my car and house key needs in the future.

Whatever you buy will be priced reasonably, and they will source what you need if not a stock item. I replaced some deadbolts and keyed handsets at the house recently and, silly me, thought I could rekey all the locks myself. Mistake. Meanwhile, the deal I thought I was getting online for the locks suddenly was not such a deal when you add rekeying kits and time to the equation.
