The man says he called, but I did not get a call or voice mail. I say I will come back in 1 or 2 days with my car, as I was on foot. He tells me he will charge me storage of $25. The call he says he made I did not get, but the charge of $25 gets mentioned on or two times again. He then wants me to pay him right then, not when I come back to pick up the rugs. I said I would come back with my car, and my copy of the invoice showing what I had paid as a deposit and pay when I pick up two rugs. He says the rugs may not be there when I come back. Flash forward 2 days. I walk in with the invoice. The rugs are there. I show him the invoice and he says "Oh, you left a deposit!". He asks for cash. I don't have cash. So he takes my debit card. I open my bank app to see if I need to to move money. While I am looking at the app 3 charges of $120 appear from Wool & Knots. I show them to him. He says he canceled them. They don't look canceled on the app. I tell him I am calling the bank service line just to verify if the charges were deleted and he goes ballistic. He is shouting at me to 'get out - get out'. Grabs the rug and runs to the back door telling me they will be gone and that when I come back he will charge me an extra $100. He puts the rug down and is pacing quickly back and forth and continues to yell at me. I say something about just verifying that I am charged only once and that I am not leaving. I sit down (pretty shaken up by now) and in a few minutes the call is answered. She looks and see the extra charges, and then says - now they are gone. I say thanks and I will let the man run the charge again. She asks if I am alone in the store with the man. I say yes. She says she could hear him screaming at me and will wait on the phone for me to pay and get the rugs. (My bank is great - NC State Employees Credit Union.) I pay, he picks up the rug and carries out to my car. Whew. What a weird scary experience. This was the second time I had brought a rug there for cleaning. It will be my last.

They are charging the customer for an entire width of the carpet roll which is then cut to size at your home.

I needed a stair runner installed so I brought my family to the store on a rainy weekend day. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. My pre-K kid had a great time at the store, there are countless carpet samples to look at and touch! The amount of options to pick from is impressive. We left with a few samples, and it was easy to schedule the measurement. We have an old house with unusual stairs/posts, but Ali helped us figure out what made sense for the reveal and aligning it well. The quoted price for materials and installation was reasonable and transparent. It was easy to schedule installation and they did an excellent job. I can see why many other families recommended them in my local Facebook group, and now I'll be doing the same!

The owner came to measure and we agreed on a 2.5" reveal. When the team came to install, the owner did not take into account a post so the reveal needed to be increased to 3". The team on site cut the fabric and reattached the binding. It truly looked awful and so sloppy. You can see in the pics how the binding wasn't attached in places. The owner wouldn't agree to fix it, but had no problem coming back to remove the carpet. Warning- Take your business elsewhere!
