I really did not want to go to this restaurant. I had read reviews that mentioned graffiti on the walls and plastic bibs, and that just didn't sound like a great evening to me. Yet it turned out to be the most memorable meal of our time in Augusta. Our waiter was Davis, and he could not have been a more pleasant southern gentleman. Obviously, well spoken and well educated, but so fun and personable as well. He knew the menu offerings very well and could guide us northerners to exactly the right meal to really experience "a boil." We ordered the sausage boil which included crab and shrimp and potatoes and corn as well as the the amazingly flavorful house sauce. And oh yes, we were provided with a bucket full of bibs and plastic gloves, and napkins galore. Davis spread out our feast on the table already lined with butcher paper for the mess we would soon create. Oh did we love making a delicious mess here! My wife and I picked this spot based on our love for good seafood boil and the good reviews. The reviews were spot on...this place was great. There are numerous options for almost every taste. I got the seafood sausage boil that included tons of shrimp and a nicely sized crab leg cluster. I chose the medium spice but might go a little higher next time. The icy cold beer compliments the food perfectly. Our server was both pleasant snd attentive. We drive up to an almost completely abandoned shopping center and almost kept driving but I'm sure glad we didn't. My wife and I were seated right away by an inviting staff and Tatiana the server/bartender took really good care of us and her suggestions were on point. She recommended the Margaritas for something refreshing and the garlic butter sauce for the boil with extra garlic which was delicious. The calamari was fresh and tender, Tatiana suggested a splash of lemon pepper seasoning and fresh squeezed lemon, it was excellent. Their chicken wings were on point for me. The lemon that they use is really good. I had my wings mixed with buffalo and lemon pepper together. Excellent place to go if yo love seafood. We went for my daughter's birthday. Andy was our server and he was great through the whole process from us walking in the door until the time we got up to leave. The food was awesome and most of us had the low country boil. There was 13 of us in our party and Andy never missed a lick. He took the birthday cake and put it in the fridge, had to make sure he got a piece when it was all said and done. Got my hands dirty and created a bag with 1LB Shrimp (Head On), 1LB Green Mussels, sausage, and a lobster tail with Cajun Garlic & Butter with medium spice. It comes with corn on the cob. This meal was delicious to the last bite! The only suggestion I would recommend Is if they had an authentic Corn Bread to add on the menu, I think this would be a great addition to have. I mean this is a Southern State why not have some southern twist to it. Just a suggestion. West Coast brand (Angry Crab) has a unique style corn bread at their franchise. I think Juicy Crab should have as well. What is great about Juicy Crab is that they provide a bowl/plate for you to pour your food out the bag if you wanted to eat it like that. You have a choice to eat it from the bag but putting it on the plate allowed the delicious food to cool down after the food arrived at your table steaming hot. This is one thing that Angry crab needs to take away from Juicy Crab. The waitress was wonderful and staff were very friendly. All in all, the experience at this location was wonderful. This place always satisfies my seafood cravings. It's not the best, but it is good. I always get mussels, clams, and shrimp dressed in the juicy special, extra hot. I've tried their mozzarella sticks, calamari, fried tilapia, fried shrimp, Cajun fries, you name it and to be upfront, it's honest food. Nothing fancy but definitely gets the job done. I also love that they have white rice as a side. I do have to say that I HATE, like, absolutely DESPISE their hosts in the front. It's always awful and unorganized and each person I've encountered always has a bad attitude. I understand that they're constantly dealing with rude people, but if you can't take the heat or whatever, find a different position. Don't be unpleasant when your job is literally to greet people and seat them. As far as the servers I've had go, they've been pretty good. Finally made it to the Juicy Crab. Best time to go is on a rainy day because the wait time is less than 15 mins. As an appetizer we ordered the 6 lemon pepper wings which came out freshly fried. The low country boil is the boil I decided to go with. It includes one cluster of snow crab legs, 3 eggs, 1 lbs of shrimps, and corn on the cob. It was seasoned with the Juicy special with medium spice level. The boil came out fresh and hot. It was a lot inside of it and I honestly couldn't finish it. Well let's just say I know where NOT TO GO when I come back to Augusta. I was craving seafood so we decided to try Juicy Crab since I'm familiar with them back in Florida. I ordered a pick 3 fried selection, some fried calamari for an appetizer, a pick your own with black mussels, shrimp with no head, and a lobster tail. My seasoning was garlic butter seasoning medium. i also ordered a side of steamed rice(that I didn't get in the bag). Let's just say I was disappointed! The calamari was cold so I had to heat it up when I got back to my hotel, which made it even less appetizing. The fish that came with the fried basket were so small! My seafood bag was so salty, the eggs were hard and over cooked, and the seafood wasn't cleaned(see picture of lobster tail for reference). I'm disappointed but at least I know now. I ended up throwing out half a bag of seafood. $70 wasted! Never again! read more

It you're craving good seafood, this is a great place to go to in Augusta. This place is somewhat hidden off Washington road in a shopping complex with not too many stores. But it's well worth the time to check it out if you like enjoy seafood at all. They have several different specials and sea food to get and several types of seasonings to go with it in a boil. I chose the "Juicy special" seasoning which combines all their seasoning options together and it tasted amazing with the sausage special boil I got that included snow crab, shrimp, sausage, and potatoes.
