Obviously, well spoken and well educated, but so fun and personable as well. He knew the menu offerings very well and could guide us northerners to exactly the right meal to really experience "a boil." We ordered the sausage boil which included crab and shrimp and potatoes and corn as well as the the amazingly flavorful house sauce. And oh yes, we were provided with a bucket full of bibs and plastic gloves, and napkins galore. Davis spread out our feast on the table already lined with butcher paper for the mess we would soon create. Oh did we love making a delicious mess here! I've spent countless hours researching both "online" and local fresh seafood. Yearning for a taste of home and having literally spent thousands of dollars on what I l will refer to "research and development". I placed a order for fresh crawfish (sold in 2 ish or 5 ish Lb ziplock bags) boiled with all the amazing fixings which consisted of soft buttery melt in your mouth potatoes, Cajun smoked with flavor and not just heat sausage, an array of onions and vegetables that were infused with flavors that continued to build and did not disappoint in taste. Boudreaux' displays such a laid-back and welcoming atmosphere that it's a hard sell to believe that this is actually a place of business. What with the inviting atmosphere and the gang sitting around the table in the back of a business eating crab legs, my mistake crawfish. Our (us three golfers) salads were good. Our crab cakes were very good! Our chocolate pudding pie was great. My three fingers of Makers Mark was excellent. We sat outside by their lake where the peace and quiet were throughly enjoyed. Our waitress was friendly and helpful choosing the combinations that made this dinner delightful.
