A friend was in town and wanted to try a soul food buffet. We went around noon and I thought it would be packed, but there was plenty parking. Walking in, it's like most buffets, pay the cashier, then off to the food. The food was pretty decent, they had a few different tries of meat and vegetables to choose from. Our waitress kept our drinks full. They did have desserts, but I was too full to try to eat anything else.

An Augusta classic! This family run restaurant has been serving up great food for around 40 years. A trip today reminded me why. A buffet full of fresh made veggies and meats . The squash casserole and rutabagas were so delicious I had to get a second helping. Fried chicken was tasty and the fried pork chops were awesome. Tender and flavorful! Salad bar too with cole slaw and potato and pasta salad. Had to try the banana pudding and a delightful whipped key lime fluff. And course good cooking has to have sweet tea. The Kelly family has great food here so try it out.

Meh to just okay. Canned greens, canned green beans, etc. I don't like going to restaurants and paying for canned goods. Catfish was fried with flour instead of cornmeal, yuck. Place seemed dirty.

Mediocre food. Place didnt have a clean feeling. Bathroom had poop everywhere... DISGUSTING. One of the workers was heard saying and I repeat "Oh heck, I just crapped everywhere"... im grossed out. Im sitting here at the table disgusted. The food wasnt bad. Shrimp ans grits was good. Everything else was ... ok. Not bad and not slammin good. I wouldnt be back but I wouldnt discourage anyone from eating there.. despite the poopy situation.

Horrible. I cant believe that they charge $14 for an adult buffet. Who in their right mind would pay that much for this. When I asked the lady if they had a take out menu, she said very rudely we dont have take out menus so I left after that. I'll never come back here again.

If you've never been there, they will start you out with samples of all of their lemonade (which all of them are incredibly flavorful) and you'll inevitably get one because it's THAT good. The staff comes with recommendations to help you navigate the menu and they are so attentive and helpful. I'd go as far to say that they had some of the best service in Augusta. Now to the food, 10/10 I could not recommend them enough. I've had the honey lemon pepper wings and the loyalty platter. And it was so good. The honey lemon pepper wings were full of deep flavor and they give you at-least 10 wings with the plate. The steak and shrimp are the best seasoned meats I've ever had at a restaurant. I've also had a few nibbles of their seafood and ‍. Then when you're ready for dessert, don't worry you get samples too. The blue velvet is my favorite but all of them are award winning so you can't go wrong when it comes to Nattas sweet treats. Over all, great experience, great people, and great place. Get out and support local, it'll never disappoint. P.S. if you think it's pricey, you're wrong. You get what you pay for here. You get no less than two meals out of one plate.

The portion sizes are generous and very tasty. I made a Southern Palmer with their Peach Tea and Unsweetened Ice Tea 1/2 & 1/2 of both mixed together, was the perfect beverage to pair with the Honor Platter. I finished the honorable meal with The Strawberry Velvet Cake Brownie & Red Velvet Brownie dessert pairing. The service from when I stepped in, while eating and leaving was exceptional, inviting and very pleasant. Shurell was fabulous, vibrant and a fresh of breath air. I highly recommend Kitchen Kings x Natta's Sweet Bakery to discover Augusta's Hidden Gem off Gordon Hwy. The Ambiance was the perfect R&B Vibe for a casual, sexy Saturday. The music Playlist was the perfect R&B garnish to the entire dining experience. I will be back for their Low Country Boil & the wonderful Strawberry Velvet Cake. Kings Kitchen x Natta's Sweet Bakery will not disappoint you. In fact, it will make ypur day better. Please honor my review and take a taste for yourself today and dine like a King or Queen mixed with sweetness from the Bakery.

Good bbq dinner with a colleague tonight…read more One of the more popular dining options in the south is BBQ. This one we chose tonight is a small chain, but offers an excellent bbq dining option. It's not a sitdown restaurant. You place your order at the counter then go find a place to eat. They bring out the food to you. Once you sit down, you're served with a plate of warm biscuits. There's some sort of cheese or something inside them, but it wasn't a distracting ingredient, just different. You always like it when you get the opportunity to try multiple types of bbq meat. The option for tonight was bbq rib and pulled pork. Not only are the portions very good. (had to get a to go box) but both meats tasted super. The pulled pork was tender and juicy. The ribs were large and plentiful. The ribs could've been a little more "fall off the bone", but we're good nonetheless. There's only one type of sauce to put on the ribs, but it was a good and not too tangy. With this meal option, you get two choices of sides. Being a big fan of coleslaw that was one side. The other side was corn on the cob. The coleslaw was sweet tasting. The corn on the cob had a bit of a hot bite to it. Both were fantastic. Thought to go with the sweet tea option, but since I had it earlier in the day, I chose otherwise.

Staff was friendly and establishment was clean. Ordered a couple pulled pork sandwiches, one with fries and the other with baked beans. Also came with 4 cheddar rolls. Both sandwiches were of good value and size. I prefer a hotter sauce than the regular bbq available on the tables. If you're the same, I highly recommend you request their sweet and spicy (habanero) sauce. It is perfect for this sandwich. Overall a great experience and so very tasty. Stop in if you're in the area.

We split a half dozen oysters to start and they were perfect. We chose to enjoy 3 of two types of the oysters from their selection. I could've easily had many more. We had the chicken thighs which were juicy and full of flavor. The brussels sprouts with the goat cheese and balsamic glaze was a combination of flavors and texture that were absolutely beautiful. I finished the evening with an adorable birthday dessert, which was a candy bar like dish with Nutella ice cream. The sparkler candle was so cute. Southern charm, incredible lunch, legendary desserts, and truly wonderful service…read more Boll Weevil is one of those places that feels like you stumbled into something special. From the moment you see the brick building and walk inside, you get this warm, classic Georgia café vibe. It is cozy, welcoming, and full of character. It is the kind of place you want to slow down and enjoy. We came in for lunch and everything was outstanding. I had the Curious George, which is turkey topped with spinach dip and provolone cheese on sourdough bread. It was absolutely fantastic. Warm, savory, and perfectly balanced, it felt like true comfort food done right. It also came with a fresh side salad and great dressing that honestly could have been a meal on its own. My boys ordered the chicken quesadilla and nachos, and both were big wins. The quesadilla was crispy and cheesy. The nachos were fully loaded with seasoned beef, black beans, melted cheese, fresh lettuce and tomatoes, plus salsa and ranch on the side. The portions were generous and the flavors were excellent. Then came the desserts. We tried chocolate cake, carrot cake, and red velvet cake. We ordered half slices and they were still huge. Every single one was incredible. The red velvet and carrot cake were made with real cream cheese frosting. The carrot cake was rich and moist. The chocolate cake was deeply decadent. Pairing the carrot cake with a cup of their coffee was the perfect finish. The coffee was smooth and flavorful and exactly what you want with dessert. We were also lucky enough to be taken care of by Reagan, who was incredibly kind, beautifully stylish, and so helpful with my boys and me. She gave great recommendations on dishes and portion sizes. Her warmth and attention truly elevated the entire experience. Between the cozy atmosphere, outstanding food, unforgettable desserts, and exceptional service, Boll Weevil is now officially a must stop every time we are in Augusta. Come hungry.
