We were in Augusta for the day as part of our Atlanta vacation and my husband was looking for the best soul food in Augusta and this place popped up. The food was amazing. It was nice and hot and fresh. We sat in to eat our food. The inside was clean. The service was great. We have some to talk about when we get back to Maryland. We will definitely come back and try again when we are in the area. Thanks Belly's Kitchen

Had to try this local establishment Belly Kitchen located on deanbridge road, in Augusta, GA is serving up some good ole, good ole. They are frying up pork chop, baking Turkey wings as all in between along with desserts to satisfy any sweet tooth. We ordered the cheese steak rolls with Tatar tots and the fried pork chop sandwich with dressing and collard greens, how much better can it get... Yelp Augusta you have got to try this establishment.

Let me 1st start off by saying.....when u walk in & the menu is written in chalk it's 1 of 2 things. The place is bootlegged & just need to close or that food bout to be #Bussin!!!! In this case it was #2ForMe!!! I got the Salisbury steak with rice & gravy, yams, & butterbeans for MISTER. Then I ordered a veggie plate so that I could get 2 servings of Mac & Cheese (gotta share), butterbeans, & some of those Southside Sweet Heat wangs. Sweet Heat is the Black version of Sweet Thai Chili. Oh and that lemon cake with the crushed lemon oreos on it. Yes they are #OreosAndNotKnockOffs cause I can see the word on parts of the cookie. Everybody's tastebuds are different but I ain't gonna be giving folks props if their food or service is mediocre or less. #Everything taste so good!! The service was really good. There was a young lady taking orders but me & my friend stopped another lady that work in the kitchen to ask her questions cause we didn't want to have the poor child all confused. Check out their website their wings are named after neighborhoods in the Augusta area. Also like their facebook page to see what Soul Food items are on the menu for that day. www.bellykitchens.com

I'm so disappointed Mac n cheese was terrible it was like eating kraft Mac n cheese fake and not made with love. I paid 25 for shimp and salmon with cabbage and it should be a disclosure of how food is made cause I took two bites of the pork cabbage and not just cabbage if I was allergic I be dead. But who care so long as you make a buck. Service is unknown cause I order on uber eat which can't read a note which said no ice. A waste of my money and time could just warm a corndog. Belly kitchen will not get my business again.

We got two types of wings, fries, kids nuggets and banana pudding. Wings were crispy, and they have a large sauce selection. And all this for under $25.

The service was absolutely top-notch, the food was excellent, and the ambiance was certainly very mellow. Our server, Cassandra, was very friendly and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain the menu and made some great recommendations. Their menu is a southern American fusion for sure, putting unique spins on classic dishes. Here's what we had: Drinks: -Bottle of: Vitiani rosso Appetizer: -Charcuterie board (a la carte): -Bresaola (pork) -The drunken goat (Spanish cheese) -The red dragon cheddar cheese -Bacon Jam Dinner: -Pork loin chop -Confit duck pot pie -Beet carpaccio Salad The charcuterie board was very unique and delicious. Afterwards, my lady, and I split the beet salad, her dad had the pork loin, and her mom had the pot pie. Everything was absolutely delicious. After we finished, I met the owners, and told them how much we truly enjoyed it all. They were very appreciative of my compliments. We would certainly stop by here again.

My fiancée and I looked at the menu and were sold. It was small and simple but all looked great. I made reservations for dinner on Black Friday. The inside and bar area is small, a bit dark yet inviting. Our server was Cassandra. Down to earth and very attentive. She told me that their menu changes. That's a good thing. It's always nice to try different meals. I would describe their menu- Southern American fusion. They serve appetizers, charcuterie boards, salads, entrees and dessert. They do have happy hour and specials. We ordered: Drinks: -Bottle of: Vitiani rosso Appetizer: -Charcuterie board (a la carte): -Bresaola -The drunken goat Spanish cheese -Red Dragon cheddar cheese -Bacon Jam Dinner: -Pork loin chop -Confit duck pot pie -Beet carpaccio Salad We started off with the charcuterie board and we all enjoyed it. The bacon jam went well with it. Then our entrees came out. My fiancée and I split the beet salad. So good! My dad demolished his plate. He really enjoyed his pork loin with the veggies. My mom raves about the duck pot pie. She's been telling her friends and family all about it. She had extra and took it home. We had a great experience that my fiancée wanted to meet the owner. Sarah was very sweet and nice to talk to. Everyone had a great time and loved the food! I can say we are fans and definitely coming back. Thanks for making our dining experience wonderful. Especially my parents, they hardly go out to eat and loved their meals.

The ambiance is nice. The menu offers several types of oysters, as well as about ten small plates and ten large plates. We split a frito misto, which included calamari, okra and Cod. We split a half dozen oysters to start and they were perfect. We chose to enjoy 3 of two types of the oysters from their selection. I could've easily had many more. We made the decision to split three of the dishes off the snacks at the top of their menu, which was plenty enough for two of us to share along with the oysters. We had the chicken thighs which were juicy and full of flavor. The brussels sprouts with the goat cheese and balsamic glaze was a combination of flavors and texture that were absolutely beautiful. I finished the evening with an adorable birthday dessert, which was a candy bar like dish with Nutella ice cream. The sparkler candle was so cute. We cannot wait to come back to enjoy more oysters, great food, and amazing service. A huge shout out to Nick for helping us make this evening amazing.
