I've had a good experience here so far. I signed up for the 2 month plan for $79/mo and have great experiences with Dr Dan, Abbie, and Gana. I give them a 4 star because there was one Dr Evans who who was so violent with my adjustment that it set my rehab back a few steps. She didn't give me the time of day and seemed like she couldn't wait for the session to be over. Be aware that the $79/mo plan is for a minimum of 2 months. I was irked when they told me after my first month of treatment when I went to cancel but that's on me. It's in clear print too so my fault. If you sign up I would call down first to see which Doctors are working and have them do your adjustments. read more

I had been very consistently a regular at this location but haven't been inspired to go back because the middle-aged front desk lady is not friendly AT ALL. In fact sort of rude and nasty. Additionally, they always seem to have a long wait at this location no matter the time of day. Most of the staff here do not respect customers' time and take way too long and often give estimated times that are not even close to reality. I've left here frustrated after sitting for 20+ minutes only for them to have completed one or two people ahead of me. They are chronically understaffed for such a high volume location. read more

Drove 15 minutes to the joint in cedar park and walked in 2 hours before closing. Lo and behold they cant see me today. Awesome job guys! Wont ever go to any Joint chiropractor ever again. A couple weeks ago I was about to take a 6 hour drive to Louisiana but the night before I suddenly got this crazy back pain out of nowhere. So I figured a quick alignment would do the trick, and I went into The Joint first thing before leaving town, the next morning. After waiting about 30 minutes after filling out my paperwork, I was taken back to see the doctor. His name escapes me now, it was like Dr Chris our something. Anyway, he starts by examining my records (I went to a different location once a year ago for a hip issue), and then starts regaling me with his personal greatness - his multiple degrees, his background as a project manager, and his time in the army in Bosnia. Finally when he notices I'm getting impatient, he starts the hard sale, preaching at me about maintenance. I tell him I'm in a hurry, to go to a funeral, and then he gets all snippy with me. It took him about 5 seconds to admit that unless I signed up for a package, he wasn't going to adjust me. With that I stood up and walked out. What a complete jerk. I'll never be back, and I strongly advise you avoid this charlatan, money grubbing facility. read more

We absolutely love this place. Customer service is on point. So welcoming when you first enter the facility. My daughter is a competitive gymnast and we take her on a weekly schedule to see Dr. Hagood, who is amazing! We originally started going there because my daughter injured herself in gym and they did an amazing job getting her back in the gym. They're friendly but don't really care about time management or helping you. If you show up in the last hour they always make up things about needing an appointment for new patient or needing an appointment for updated patient. If you call to make an appointment they don't take them. Save yourself the frustration and find a full service chiropractic that's actually going to help. I've used these guys in a pinch but they're not even reliable for that anymore. Today I went in and the chiropractor is sitting at the front with 0 patients waiting. It was 40 minutes to close and they turned me away saying it had been a year since my last adjustment which it had not. I went into this location a couple months back and had 2 regular visits left as well as a card saying I had two visits left on that card. It was from a Black Friday sale they had. Well I go in and the Dr. that saw me (I believe he was the manager for that location) said that I didn't have any visits left so I had to use the card. Then when I went to use the card he told me that there was only 1 visit on the card. I knew he was lying but instead of arguing with him I decided that I would just not go back to this location or the one at Lakeline either. I figure that if he is willing to do that then I really don't want him working on me anymore. read more

I walked in the day before to get an adjustment. Since it was my first time, I took the time to fill out a new patient info. packet. Since I was considered new, I was told I would require more time since consultation happens. Since this is understandable, I patiently waited to come in tomorrow. I got here within a few mins of opening, and even gave the paper work immediately since it was completed. Despite that, I have waited for more than an hour. This is unacceptable. They tell every visitor it won't take more than 15-20 mins. I do not recommend this place. read more

I'm a straight, cis-gendered man. Some time ago, Dr. Hagood was adjusting me and he made a comment about me not being very athletic, which felt like a put-down (I'm small boned and lean but my BMI is within the normal range). I took a break from The Joint. Over a year later I returned and was sitting in the waiting room awaiting sign up (hoping to be adjusted by one of the other chiropractors). There were 4 or 5 people in the waiting area. Dr. Hagood comes in, makes eye contact with me and then announces, "We don't prescribe Testosterone here!". Weird. Offensive. I did absolutely nothing to deserve this from him. By the way, I've had it tested and there is nothing wrong with it, medically speaking. I left and have never gone back. read more

What a waste of time. The process was easy, new patient paperwork a little over the top but I get it. It was clean and convenient to book in person. I hate writing reviews for places I have only been to once but this place is a joke if you truly want something fixed. Not sure how all the good reviews but the guy had no idea what he was doing. I was in and out in minutes (which I was thankful for) to be rushed to the sales pitch of buying more sessions before the price goes up. Clearly these guys work on commission. I did a walk in for some neck and back pain that I was experiencing because of work. Dr. Michael was very friendly and had a great sense of humor, and did good work for my shoulder and back (I think? In order to feel results I'm sure I have to go back several times. Other reviews I've read say he does fantastic work which I believe.) My issue with visit was the aggressive sales tactics. I wasn't asked about any specific areas of pain or what was gong on, I was adjusted and told that in order to prevent "serious surgery" or "have rods put in my legs" I would need to purchase a large subscription (I'm a healthy, active 18 year old). If I wanted to have fun when I was older I'd have problems if I didn't come back weekly. The sales pitch felt rushed and aggressive without clearly explaining what even is going on, I honestly couldn't tell you what is even going on. More than half of the 5-10 minutes actually spent with Dr. Michael was promoting what I should buy. Perhaps I expected more for 40$, (for the first four visits , THEN it is 60$!) I also saw a promotion for a 29$ adjustment but was charged 40$ because I had visited a different location over two years ago. I'd be back if it seemed like the objective was to help with pain rather rather than swipe my card for $200+. read more

Had a terrible experience. The chiropractor went through his whole sales pitch. Basically once it was over I said I will put it towards my insurance due to a wreck since it was potentially the reason of my sciatica. After that he got up and said he can't treat me. I literally thought he was joking because he was so quick to jump to conclusions. I literally told him never mind then, if I don't use insurance and just pay you as a normal patient would he still said unfortunately can't treat you. He was more upset at the fact that I'm out here for work and needing 4 to 5 treatments but it wasn't enough for him. For one what kind've place doesn't except a new patient looking to pay his way to be treated for my sciatica pain. Unfortunately don't have the doctors name but him being a taller guy. So if I didn't say anything about a car accident he would've done my adjustment no problem with no issues so regardless I don't understand the issue. This place is unprofessional and handled that situation poorly. I'm not one to leave reviews especially cause I could care less. In all honesty just had such a horrible experience. read more

I usually go to the Joint clinics in Houston and most chiropractors have given me good adjustment. However, I visited this Joint location on 8/4 looking to be adjusted for my middle and lower back and headache. Whoever was there during the day was pretty lousy. Not once did her adjustments not produce a cracking noise that I usually get with ALL my adjustments. When she tried to adjust my neck and back I felt like I was being adjusted by someone who didn't know what they were doing. And then she proceeded to give me a neck massage which I didn't really know why? Told me to ice it down. Went over to another Joint nearby and got better results. I am sure the doctors during the week offer better adjustment. But I would steer clear of getting adjusted during the weekend. Those are the times they have the less experienced providers. read more

Suffering from chronic upper back and neck pain, adjustments have been the only thing that really helped with relief. I had been to a few chiros previously over the last five years, but they took insurance so I was paying $40 for a specialist co-pay each time (eek!), and the one office I liked that didn't take insurance was 20 minutes away. I must admit, The Joint is super close to my house, and I had walked by this location hundreds of times going to HEB. However, having seen their locations all over Austin, I was wary of going to a chiro chain, because I wrongly assumed that a chiro chain would provide lower quality care (think other medical/health chains like Castle Dental). About a month ago, I had gone six months to a year without an adjustment, I was hurting bad, and there was a giant sign outside the office advertising a $19 adjustment. I should've done this sooner, but I finally considered The Joint enough to look them up on Yelp. To my surprise, 4.5 stars- I was sold! I walked in 30 minutes before closing time and was told that they could get me in. I spent about 10 minutes filling out one-time-only paperwork and was taken care of by Dr. Hagood who is fantastic! Seriously, my favorite chiro I've ever worked with, and I will likely follow him if he ever leaves this location...please don't let him ever leave lollzz. After my first adjustment, I was informed (but not pressured) about The Joint's different plans and packages, and I signed up for the monthly membership. For $69/month, you receive up to four visits. After your fourth visit of the month, any extra visits are only $10. They do not take appointments (a huge convenience factor for days when pain pops up), so you simply walk in (I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes), scan your card (it's a key ring card that keeps track of your visits), and wait to be called. You can see any doctor at any location, but if you have a particular doctor you prefer, their schedules are posted in the waiting area. Five visits and counting later, I can happily say that I've been mostly pain free- and "mostly" is huge for me- without breaking the bank. I only wish I had given this place a shot sooner! read more

Dr. Kyle has "Miracle hands". I call him this because over a period of a few months he has been able to allow my body to naturally heal itself instead of surgery. The first session I felt heard. He explained to me what he was going to do and why. We set up a few more sessions because of the severity of my issues. Each time he focused on what was bothersome. I am very displeased with this company... my boyfriend and I went in out of curiosity one day and we're up sold on a monthly plan. We were told we could cancel at any time with 30 days notice, they said this just to close the sale, because I am always wary signing up for anything. After a month we found we never had time to go and called and canceled. Over the phone the very nice lady took my information and said she would take care of it and we wouldn't be charged again. Needless to say the holidays came and went, our bank account had the normal holiday crash of transactions so we didn't notice the joint kept charging us. ... And because it wasn't planned caused us to overdraft numerous times! We would like for someone to reach out from The Joint and help resolve this....I'm hoping this is not yet ANOTHER company who cares more about grabbing your money than being fair to consumers. I finally stopped by because I knew I needed a chiropractor and other options were just not convenient and/or too expensive. I came in, answered a few questions and filled out some paperwork and waited about 15 minutes. Then Dr. Arriens greeted me and we talked about my concerns. He had some great advice and insights, then gave me an adjustment, explaining everything along the way. Recommended I come frequently for about 10 visits. I signed up for the monthly plan because it's the most reasonable and it should motivate me to come as often as I really need to. Iced my neck and back as instructed and after a few days and another treatment, I'm feeling progress. I already know I am sleeping better because I'm in less pain. The CP location is next to HEB so it's on my weekly hit-list of places I know I will be, and it's just 5 minutes from the house. I have been going to the Joint for about a month now. Very pleased with their pricing, and very pleased with their friendly service. No hassles, no long waits and no appointments. However, they do not seem as thorough as other chiropractors that I have been to. No message tables, muscle therapy, etc. Funny thing is that my back feels better since I quit going to the Joint. The pricing per month is nice, but if you do not cancel your auto-charge early enough in the month, you'll get charged again. I have been to the Arboretum, the Lakeline location and this Cedar Park location and have received excellent care at each. I will say that the Cedar Park location has been my best session yet. My neck and shoulder have hurt for months and finally got to the point it was inhibiting my work outs badly. Finally broke down (literally) and went and checked out The Joint in Cedar Park. The front of the shop is ran by Brandon and he's on top of his game and has made me feel very welcomed. As for the chiropractors, Dr. Arriens is the man ... he's an athlete himself, so he knew what I was going through. He spent a lot of time with me and I'm feeling so much better ... after just two visits with him ... he's pulled me out of this funk of being worried to do any weight lifting and the fear of injuring myself worse. I'm still dealing with soreness but for the most part I feel on the mend more then I have in months. I highly recommend The Joint in Cedar Park. Dr.Arrens delivers private practice type care in a (well-established) corporate scene. I love waiting in line for him, just because I know that he spends time educating other patients, and when it's my turn, I get to learn something new too! When I visited with him, he gave a comprehensive overview of my situation and what I can do to improve myself. Then he gave me a thorough adjustment, cracks everwhere. Somehow that makes me feel like things are working correctly. This location also has the cracking fulcrum chair thing that makes large scary thumping sounds. But it's good for re-aligning your legs, or something. Will return, if only the drive was more convenient! read more

Most of my reviews are all good! It's important to acknowledge the good and great! Annoying how people only focus on the negative experiences. It has to be really bad for me to submit a review about. I first discovered this location when they opened just down the street from my home, I was so happy to see it! My first experience was perfect. Quick sign in, friendly service, overall adjustment with some time spent on me (it's nice when your chiro spends way more than just a minute w/you, like others have in the past) and a follow up call. THAT was a first and a pleasant surprise. I wouldn't go anywhere else! UPDATE: 8/6/15 This location has grown to be really busy. I highly recommend The Joint brings in another chiropractor and expand their hours to accommodate its business. I've walked out 4 times in the past 2 wks due to a 35min or longer wait. Last time I decided to wait I was told 30min but actuality waited 50min. Unfortunately, I'm not available to come by during the day. I could, however, stop in before 10am during the week. Honestly had the worst first experience with Kyle. Spent the entire time I was back there trying to sell me a monthly plan. Did not help me whatsoever. Popped my neck once and my back once, I noticed absolutely no difference. When I asked if that was it he told me "Yep, I wanna see you in the next 1-3 days" like LOL no. Complete waste of time and MONEY! Do not let kyle work on you. He will give you the absolute bare minimum and charge you full price for basically nothing. I drove 25 minutes for a sales pitch and a neck pop. I've heard great things about Hagood however so I will be giving them another shot- but never Kyle. Not going to lie we were a little skeptical about joining their membership plan because we weren't sure we needed it. However, we decided to try it out and Man! are we glad. I've never slept so good! We go every week on Sunday or Monday, whether we feel we 'need' it or not and no matter what are glad we went. I see Dr. Starkey and let me tell you I've never had an adjustment like that and I've been seeing Chiropractors for over 10 years regularly. He takes the extra time with his adjustments and is always concerned with our well being and wanting us to leave feeling better. Connie and Brooke are awesome! Fast, Simple, effective with locations that are close. Walk in (no appt), self check in, get adjusted and go. Weekends as well !! That's 5 star alone - no hurting till Monday. I use two locations one by work and one near home. No excuse not too. Hours are generous but less than Massage Envy. 7pm is closing (4pm on Sunday) but like a muffler shop if you get there in time (6:59) - they will stay until everyone is done. Very different from traditional - allows you full work days and alignments. I have a spinal birth defect and have been going to chiropractors for most of my life. I was referred to The Joint by a friend and his wife when I had a flare-up and was in extreme pain. I love the fact that they're open 7 days a week and that I can just walk in and get an adjustment within a few minutes(15 minutes is the longest I've ever waited). This is so much more convenient and logical for people with a busy lifestyle than traditional chiropractic. The fact that their prices are reasonable makes it easy and affordable to get adjusted weekly. Most importantly though, the doctors are excellent! They're gentle, but very effective. Awesome first experience! Dr. Arriens was very informative and provided tremendous care and concern for current aches and pains while providing a plan for how to get back on track for wellness! I haven't been adjusted in years and just having my first adjustment with Dr. Arriens was truly relaxing and felt productive.
