Top quality adjustments at affordable price! Both Dr. Shelby and her assistant Kirsten are wonderful and very accommodating! We have been going to her for almost a year now and we love her! Dr. Shelby also does acupuncture! She graduated top chiropractic school in Dallas which is like a Harvard of chiro schools. She has great way with kids, super upbeat and easy to connect with! I highly recommend Dr. Shelby Phillips. She listens and genuinely care for the well being of her patients. I moved to Georgetown in summer 2020 and by the end of summer I started my healing journey with her. I struggle with neck, back and pelvic misalignment and psiatica symptoms. All of them resulting from having a work that significantly relies on a computer and lack of a balanced workouts. I used to only run, HITT and weight strength overlooking stretching, mobility and flexibility. Once reaching my 40s, this type of workouts only caused continuous injuries and pain by triggering the symptoms I shared. I'd been seing her since then and although much better as all pain is gone and I'm back to workout carefully tailoring to how my body feels. I learned to listen to my body to determine what I can do - the no pain no gain is not an encouragement phrase to me anymore. Dr. Phillips has been key in identifying areas that could be triggered by certain type of workouts, postures, sitting for long periods of time (work) and providing recommendations in stretches and what to avoid while healing. I'm currently under maintenance but continue to see her once a week because it benefits me. I was very hesitant about chiropractic treatment and not all are good. After visiting so many doctors and the response that the pain is part of aging trying to ease it with medications, it was not enough nor accepted by me. Shelby saw me immediately when I needed her! I'm 39.5 weeks pregnant; couldn't sleep due to having a hard time breathing, walking was painful and still hadn't had very many contractions.
