Let me start by saying that I've struggled with pain for over a decade and have tried everything as a way to reduce some of the pain that I live with... including chiropractic care. Was not a fan considering the time it took and the insurance co-pay that felt like the cost to benefit ratio was upside down. I decided to give it a try again after many many years and joined The Joint. When I went in I couldn't turn my head from left to right. I currently have normal range of motion. I also have lots of body pain in between my shoulder blades, lower back and hip pain. Although it doesn't alleviate all of the pain in my body I can tell when I haven't been and going on a regular basis. When I can't dance with my grandbaby it means I've missed a week or more. I live in Georgetown but find myself often deeper into Georgetown, Leander and Cedar Park. I've tried many locations and my favorite location is on N. Austin Ave. My second location on Williams Drive in Georgetown. Dr. Rivera-Hernandez and Dr. Cain are by far are the best doctors that are a part of this team. I've found myself at a few "The Joint" locations and keep coming back to these locations or not going at all. They do not rush you and their adjustments and well thought thru and they are gentle but thorough. They leave me feeling inches taller. I can walk, dance, and feel my pain reduced almost immediately. I do not feel judged or dismissed. Super friendly group! I love these guys and would pay the subscription just for these 2 locations alone! The Joint has given me a totally different outlook on chiropractic care. Its affordable and gives me the relief I need to get thru the week. They advertise new patients $29 , woke up on a Sunday expediting back pain , I go there is no one there the girl takes all my information and tells me I can't be seen as a new climate because I visited one place back in 2017!!!! I went in & they had to "lend" me some reading glasses to complete their application. The lady behind the desk simply used a big fat red marker & "X-d" and said, "Sign here, here and there..." A couple months later one day after my SSDI was deposited my account was sucked dry of over $80 (bucks). I went in to inquire and they said "YOU SIGNED THE CONTRACT!" Then they produced the contract and I could see (this day I had my glasses). But they didn't even bother to contact me during the 4 or 5 weeks while they were busy trying to suck my account dry. read more

My husband hurt his back at work and Needed the chiropractor. I called before we made the four hour round trip to the Joint. When I had previously called I was told they were open on Sat. We drive there to be told they only take established patients on Sat. Thus we could not be seen. Maybe tell patients this when they call and before they drive four hours not to be seen. If I could give 0 stars I would. I called to set up an appointment. I explained that I needed to come in due to pain in my neck. I was told I had arthritis in my neck from when I was in the military recently. I found out after a car accident a month ago when the doctor took x-rays to make sure I was OK. I was cleared by the ER and told to reach out to a chiropractor to get some relief for the arthritis. The lady who answered the phone, Cindy, told me the refuse to see me if I have an open claim I explained I don't have anything with insurance. I wasn't using it as a claim, I wasn't looking at getting anything paid by insurance and it was all put of pocket. It was just for the arthritis in my back. I just found out due to the car accident. That's it. Cindy was about as warm as last February. She didn't care. I asked to speak to the manager and she was just as friendly and also said, it's the policy that if I have a claim open they won't treat me. I explained that the ER has signed off saying I had no issues from the accident. That I'm just waiting for a check in the mail. She said unless the claim is closed they won't see me. So now, as a military veteran with pain from service, they refuse to see me bc of HOW I found out I have arthritis. Great job. read more

My wife, daughter and grand daughter have used the services of The Joint in Georgetown with good success in early 2022. However, my credit card keeps being billed, months after services have been completed and the contracts no longer active. I am on my 7th month of being billed the same day every month, although the business and owners say that they are not billing me. My credit card says differently. I feel they do a good job without the need of an appointment for their services, but beware when you hand them your credit card. I have spoken to them numerous times, and have had them check with the owners, with no success. The credit card company says they have till the end of the year to dispute the charges. read more

This place was awesome ! I'm really Happy ! I was referred to this place by a friend. I myself have been to other Chiropractors. The one thing I don't like is being obligated to buy a treatment plan. My back only gets out of whack a few times a year if that ? Well you don't have to worry about that with The Joint. I was a new client and was in and out of there in under 30 mins, they were very thorough and I left there pain free with no obligation to start a treatment plan. I'm not saying that a treatment plan is bad, some people have much more severe problems that should a routine adjustment. I thought the treatment plan was more then reasonable. Dr. Kelsi fixes me up every time I've gone in (always as a walk-in) because I've done something stupid to mess up my lower back. My husband and I love The Joint and Dr. Kelsi because of their extended hours, open on weekends, it's inexpensive compared to other chiropractic offices who try to talk you into expensive treatment programs (The Joint doesn't) and everyone in there is just plain nice. Corporate office said that it is franchised and that refunds were solely up to the franchise owner. The local franchise here said that they would not refund my money. I have not been in a chiropractors office in 30 yrs. I had a good experience in that. I came to get adjusted only as I was on the better side of a sllght strained back. I am 4 weeks out of a right knee repair. When I came in and saw this Dr it appears technique has changed drastically. There was little to no hands on. I heard this clicking sound and them BAM!. Then I heard It again and again BAM to my left back and my daughter who was sitting in the lobby heard me yell Oh my God what did you do that hurt!. Something popped to the left side of my breast. She ask me then if I wanted my neck done and I declined...I got up and walked to the lobby and told my daughter that she hurt me and she heard it all. That was Monday and today is Wed. and I am having to wrap my chest due to pain when leaning forward, unable to lay on left side and SOB in certain positions. That pop was either the cartilage on left side of rib or fracture. Problem is on an x-ray is very hard to see...As a nurse of 42 yrs I was very disappointed. My experience here is very poor as she did not warn me with anything she did. I did not expect to have to deal with a TRK along side an injury of some kind to my left chest.... read more

I've been going to various Joint locations over the years and have realized who you get when you walk in is kind of luck-of-the-draw. There have been some docs that are mediocre and some that are truly exceptional in their adjustment expertise. Which is why I now look through reviews of various Joint locations to scout out the gems as opposed to just walking into the location nearest to me. I found Dr. Thuy Le's name on the East Palm Valley Dr Rock locations reviews (Dr. Krista there is also fantastic). Dr. Le has transferred to the Georgetown location now and I decided to drive 35 mins across town (I live near the Domain) to see her, only because of the many rave reviews I read about her. It was totally worth my time. I haven't received such a thorough adjustment in ages. Normally the doctors at the Joint go through the usual motions of adjusting the spine and the neck; the more qualified ones do a great job with the hip adjustments as well. She went way beyond that. Managed to get my very stiff spine cracking by using some unusual frontal adjustment techniques. She also did my shoulders, my hips, my legs, and even my face! (the spots around the nose and eyebrows that were swollen due to my chronic sinus pain). She got things cracking that no one else has had much luck with. Needless to say, I plan to be a return customer and just wish she was at a location closer to me so I could go to her more often. If you're in Georgetown, consider yourself lucky - I'd head straight to her. read more
