I re-downloaded yelp just to leave this review. I came to this location two weeks ago with my mother and father in law. We waited 45 minutes to be seen by the one chiropractor working, and he ended up making my father in law hurt worse than he did before and kept saying "Sorry, can't fix that today." But worse than this was my mother in law asked to buy 10 visits each for my husband and I. The lady at the front desk was having a very hard time trying to figure out how to do that and ended up writing down her credit card information on a piece of paper. I went today to use one of the visits she had paid for just to find out that they never actually ran the transaction, and instead just had 15 of the numbers of her credit card saved as a memo under my husbands name, without any of the other information. I was looking forward to the visits she generously got for us just to find out that they never actually followed through with them. At this point, I won't be returning to this location. read more

Dr Arriens does a great job with adjustments and education during the adjustment. My husband and I live in Houston but if we lived in Austin, this would be where we would come to have adjustments. read more

During the holidays with my stress related crooked back, I stepped into one of the only place open at that time with NO APPT NEEDED. Mike was understanding about my needs and didn't waste any time. I walked out of there in an upright position. \0/ I will definitely go back to learn new techniques to help me help myself as well. Loved the Joint at the beginning. Quick easy standard adjustment for issues and maintenance, but now the waits can be extreme and sometimes under staffed. Seems to be more small talk and counsel than adjustment happening while people wait and wait and wait. If I want to spend over 30 minutes at a chiropractor office, I would make an appointment at a full service chiropractor and at least I would get heat pads, stem and much more. read more

The lady who saw me was Cece Melton and she was so informative and easy to talk to, i was really nervous but her walking me thru everything calmed me down and I feel like a whole new person! As per my review on the Arboretum Joint -- I never thought I would visit one of these again. They had messed my back up so much worse than when I went in. That said I threw my back out on a Saturday and had to do something on Sunday when I woke up in pain. Dr Arriens happened to be there even when it wasn't his normal day in and worked on my back. I felt so much better even after just a few minutes that I decided to snag a package and come back. Two weeks later I'm not back to full strength but it's amazingly better than where I started. I would highly suggest him specifically, I can't comment on the other staff. read more

The Cedar Park and Austin offices have some great Chiropractors and at this office I really like Dr. Melton (female). Overall a really good office. Very clean and orderly. Reasonable cost and easy to get to. The front desk staff are very friendly and check in is simple. There are 5 doctors on staff and rotate throughout the week. I've been treated by 4 of the 5 so far and I'm impressed. Dr. Evans and Dr. Arriens are awesome. I need more aggressive movements to achieve an adjustment and they are both capable of doing this. They are extremely thorough and very professional. I've had multiple pinched nerves in my neck and back and they've reduced my recovery time significantly each time. Dr. Amanda and Dr. Adams are very knowledgeable and friendly, but have a gentler approach. They are thorough and professional but struggle to adjust me due to how gentle they are. I would definitely recommend this practice to anyone looking for one. read more

I visited the Joint for the first time a couple months ago after I couldn't get into my regular Chiropractor. Boy am I glad I did! I had been going to a very expensive Chiropractor for over a month with no relief and bills adding into the hundreds of dollars. I visited Dr. Arriens twice, yes that's right, TWO times, and I was pain free!!!! Mind you I waled in in so much pain that I couldn't turn my head and was having difficulty sleeping due to extreme pain. I initially bought a group of 10 visits and the first two weeks I went three times a week to solidify the new alignment, my choice not required. Once the 10 sessions were done my husband and I signed up for the family plan and we both go 4 times a month. I feel great and so does he! The best part, I pay less for four session at the Joint than I paid the other Chiropractor for one session! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Joint!!!! read more

This is good place for most. The only reason for my rating is that trying to get in for the past month has difficult at best with long wait times. The main advantage to me prior was being able to walk in and get seen quickly. Now the wait is 30 minutes to over an hour. read more

I had horrible neck pain that felt like a knife was stabbing me no matter how I turned or didn't turn my head. It was miserable. I've been having back neck pain for years now but never this bad. I have always put off the chiropractor and my pain would normally go away eventually but this time I couldn't take it. Dr Arriens is amazing! He's so nice and though I didn't feel much relief the first few days, it slowly got better and now I'm completely fine! I love going here to get adjustments. This place is a SCAM. Sad that this was my first expierence at a chiropractic office but I sure won't ever be coming back to "quick fix adjustments" first off, the staff catches an attitude pretty quickly with you for you wanting to cancel your membership, at the Lakeline location the lady at the front was trying to push me into staying in, telling me prices are going up & bla bla bla... I was firm on my decision and she kept trying to twist it. it was honestly frustrating seeing someone try and play you like a dummy ( I work at a spa and trying to disrespect someone's decision is definitely not how to KEEP customers) so I just said I'd head to the location I signed up at which was the Whitestone one, she offered to call the other location and I was just ready to walk out the door. She carried an antagonizing attitude the whole time which is what set me off, Very ugly and unprofessional, as I walk into the Whitestone location they had obviously already spoke To eachother, as Brandon rushes to say" OH I already looked and you did sign the paperwork" I know I signed papers, did I read the fine print? Obviously not, as I didn't understand that you HAVE to go 2 months of their half ass adjustments. (Which I didn't even get a copy of a contract to know if it's in there or not ITS DEFINTELY NOT ON THEIR WEBSITE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.) what I I understood was that you could cancel before you're billing date if you didn't wish to continue, i honestly would've payed the next month if their attitude towards the situation was different. Ive been a patient on and off for years now and never bother to right reviews unless I feel its really really important to draw attention to a serious issue. Its been hit or miss the last year or so. Id stop coming in or would visit a different location as Dr Hagood started making me uncomfortable. He would consistently remove his mask to speak to me and was always a little too close to my face for comfort. Some of his topics of conversation, language choices and or just personal chatting I felt was just inappropriate and unprofessional. I don't appreciate being made to wait over an hour to get a 5 min adjustment all while having to listen to Dr Hagood carry on personal conversations with other patients. And since there is no privacy, you can hear eEVERYTHING talked about from the front lobby. I've since avoided having to see Dr Hagood whenever possible. Ive seen Dr Kyle a few times and he's always been very knowledgeable, fast, polite and honestly given some of the best adjustments I've had. My real concern and reason for a review now is because the last time I attempted to be seen, I overheard another Dr I've not seen before talking about Dr Hagood recently testing positive for Covid -19 but were then instructed not to inform any patients. Furthermore, Ive personally heard Dr Hagood telling another patient that he hoped he'd get covid just to show everyone that its no big deal. Ive yet to hear from anyone at The Joint or seen any signs identifying a reported positive covid case. It does not appear this location or company is putting their patients health first or following mandatory guidelines to properly clean, sterilize and inform their patients of possible exposure during a pandemic of all times!! IF you choose to visit this location, wear a mask and Id highly recommend seeing Dr Kyle. He's the only professional in there. If he's not there, come back when he is! read more

I have been going to the joint in Cedar's Park for about a year now. I have had great care from Dr. Arriens, Dr. Hagood and Dr. Melton. I had terrible neck pain and I feel so much better now. Their knowledge and expertise is just outstanding and I would give all of the 5 stars if it weren't for today's visit. I went today and had a very unpleasant encounter with the receptionist Misty at the Cedar Park location. I had switched from a wellness plan to a pre purchased plan and was under the assumption I had more visits left than the computer showed. Misty was very abrasive and condescending when she "explained" to me the visit breakdown. She treated me like I was an idiot and I did not appreciate the way she talked to me. If it weren't for the excellent care of the doctors, I would not go back. I will definitely check if she is there before I go again as I am not thrilled to see her again. She is the "face" of the company and should represent the company in a different manner. Customer service is very important nowadays and she had a very big lack there of. I work in an industry where customer service is very important and I do understand how clients should be treated, and today was not a very good experience. Regardless, all the doctors are excellent and I am looking forward to my weekly adjustments! Thank you Dr. Arriens, Hagood and Melton! read more

Dr. Michael Arriens is amazing, I had gone to 2 other Chiropractors in Cedar Park and they could not fix my shoulder or help me. He is very knowledgeable and a really good chiropractor and one adjustment really helped me. I was hesitant to go into a walk in chiropractor and am glad I did. DISAPPOINTED. For those who have never been to The Joint...Just a bit of information, especially if you're coming in on a weekend like I did. If you are a new patient, sitting there hurting, hoping to get some quick relief as your normal chiropractor was closed, PLEASE TAKE NOTE. If any of their existing patients or those that are already on one of their adjustment plans (which is what they will try to sell you as they are a franchise), come in while you are waiting for your initial consultation and adjustment, they will take priority and be seen BEFORE you are allowed to see the chiropractor. It would have been a great determining factor to be informed of this procedure upon being greeted and asked to fill out their paperwork. After having four people allowed to go before me, and then was told that three more walk-ins after me would be allowed to see the chiropractor and then me, I informed them that I was not aware of "what their priorities were when it came to patients" and did not have time to wait for this and left. Please note this BEFORE deciding that The Joint may be able to provide some relief on an off day or weekend when your normal chiropractor may be closed. read more

The convenient location and the "no appointments/walk-in style" chiropractic office fits well with our extremely busy lives. The family plan also fits into our budget. I am 34 years old, a mom and a teacher. I enjoyed orange theory, running and lifting weights. I have had lower lumbar issues for about 5 years now. I got to the point where I couldn't do anything anymore. I would get home, the thought of walking across the kitchen floor put me to tears. I'd wake up with needles in my lower back and heels. I've tried Arosti, physical therapy, doctors, massages nothing worked. I said screw it, I'm going to quit working out and try one more thing- a chiropractor. I went to The Joint for the first time a couple of months ago. Dr Arrien saw me, I of course cried bc I was in so much pain. He worked on me- I felt so much better after one visit. He didn't just crack my back, but he gave me exercises and told me to sit on ice and heat for a couple of days. I did exactly what he told me. I felt like a new person. I've been trusting the process and doing everything that he has told me to do. I like the fact that he's given me exercises as well, and given me advice on different tools to use. Today I went and said " I'm getting ancy and I and ready to do more, he said go for it." Dr. Arrien has literally giving me back my life. September 14 2019 On a Saturday and I was so excited that they were opened Nice friendly staff in front Me & my son were hurting so willing to pay 29$ Each there special . Until the chiropractor who took us back wanted to start scolding me about my profession & began to tell me a story about some hair dresser had a bad daughter stole from her .... The whole time I'm sitting there hurting & do not care about this story. All he did was a basic adjustment. The one that I usually go to in Georgetown and is the best did more adjustments on me I pay 25$. He gets right to work. Then my sons turn & he made me come right back sit next to him & said let me get on my soapbox for a minute. Your son had 2 minor concussions due to football & starts off he shouldn't be playing . In my head I'm luck shut the fuck up that's old news he hasn't played in a long time . I had to turn him off . It was horrible & when he adjusted us he asked every time does this hurt &. I was like yes it's all on my Papper work where I hurt. He was a big man so also already breathing heavy all over us . Just unprofessional & me & my son so aggravated when we left tempted to find someone else now we have to wait till Monday to travel farther. Not worth the discount I payed 60$ total all to not be adjusted but listen to all the bullshit that came out his mouth . Not worth time or money!!! I definitely prefer a refund . I started going to The Joint after searching for a Chiropractic clinic that was open on weekends for my husband, who was barely able to walk without severe pain. My husband went and found immediate relief. I went soon after due to migraines and found immediate relief as well. I just read a review that my usual doctor there is no longer at the Cedar Park office and that upsets me a bit. On my last visit, there was a doctor and receptionist that I did not recognize (last week). They were both friendly and I did get relief, but the doctor wasn't quite as personable as the doctor I had been seeing regularly. I do hope my usual doctor will be back. My husband and I both signed up for memberships, which are priced amazingly low and will continue to go as long as the care remains the same. read more

I've been seeing chiropractors for over 10 years now. Dr. Arriens at The Joint is one of the better ones I've seen. I like his adjusting style, he communicates well, and I feel good after a visit. I never feel like I am being hurried, and I genuinely feel that the staff cares for my well being and isn't just trying to get me in and out. The price is extremely affordable, and the monthly plan is a steal even if you don't use all your visits. I got tired of spending a $25 copay every visit only to wonder when my benefits would run out and I'd lose coverage for the year. Now I don't have to worry. As an added convenience, The Joint has locations all over the place. A few months ago I tweaked my neck while on a work trip to Dallas.
