I've been to several chiropractors over in the past. Hands down the best place I've been to is Anderson Chiropractic. I could barely get up with my back, simply from bad posture, working at a computer, and hitting a dear was the icing on the cake. I need an occaisional spinal adjustment and having moved here from the Northeast a year ago, I looked for a chiropractor who would listen to me ..I found this office half way between work and home and have been more than satisfied with the friendly, professional methodology practiced here. You always have doubts when looking for new medical professionals but Dr wilkinson and his wife and staff make you feel at home. Dr Shane (First name) has all the latest equipment and treatment methods but does not push you into anything that you are not completely comfortable with. I injured my back a few weeks ago playing basketball, and was in so much pain I could barely move. I called Rock Chiropractic Leander at 8:00 am Monday morning when they opened, and they made time to see me immediately. They did a full round of tests and scans to find out what was going on with my back and really got to the root of the problem. I thought it was just a freak basketball accident, but there were some structural issues with my back I never realized (although I should have, I've hurt my back many times in my life). Be sure to verify that your insurance accepts Rock Chiropractic as a provider. Rock Chiropractic took our insurance card when we had our initial visit. After a 2 hour visit and $175 out of pocket, we still have not had any adjustments and have been told that we would have to pay out of pocket for any additional services (such as the first adjustment). It would seem that they (like all other reputable chiropractors I have seen) would have ensured coverage first before providing services, but they did not. So be aware that ensuring your coverage is in your hands, not theirs! read more
