Blatchley very pleasant man, I went there for lower back issues, everything was fine until after several visits I was laying on my back on the table and he unexpectedly did something to my neck (sharp twist). I did NOT expect that, he never asked about my neck... he didn't know I had a cervical disc disorder problem (the subject never came up). He commented muscles were tight and just snapped it. OUCH!!! I stopped going there a long time ago and the shooting pains, stiffness, numbness, pain and stuff have subsided some but have never gone away fully. Dr Blatchley really cares. He operates as truly excellent chiropractor. He actually takes the time to diagnose and work on specific issues. My left foot had been hurting for a yeas and a half. He said my left leg was shorter because my hips were out of alignment. I thought it was due to climbing ladders for work all day. He got my hips in alignment and my foot stopped hurting. It took 3 weeks. Now he is working on my neck and tortures :) me with deep tissue massage when I get adjusted. I've never had a chiropractor take the time to really work on my specific issues. He is also a family man, a Christian, a born and raised Texas, and a patriot. I can't recommend him more highly. His staff is friendly and professional. Finally, his after adjustment heat, massage, and stim rock, and his massage tables are fantastic. After suffering from (what I called) sciatica for over a year and thinking it would go away in the same unexpected way it came, I finally sought out a chiropractor. I was desperate. I was newly retired, and looking forward to all the activities I was going to be involved in (mainly Pickleball). But when you have trouble getting out of bed in the morning, suffer through the night, and have trouble bending throughout the day, I was doubtful. I was referred to Dr. Blatchley in early October and, upon arrival, was surprised to see a quaint house, no glitz, no glam, right off Hwy. 183 in Leander. I am so very happy with Leander Chiropractic. The doctor & all of the ladies in his office are very friendly & know their stuff! My back has hurt me for decades. I started going there pretty regularly a couple months ago. At the first visit I also told him about my hip that all these orthopedic surgeons were thinking was bursitis. I had gotten shots, been sent to physical therapy, and still always felt like I was sitting on a pocket full of sharp rocks after all of that. The hip pain was more unbearable than the back & I didn't think that was possible. After I told dr. Blatchley about it he showed me a stretch to do at home and said that it was not bursitis. He told me to do that stretch and do it A LOT. Since I started doing that the pain will go away immediately after doing that stretch. I have to do it many times a day but I cannot express the relief that I found from it. I felt major improvement in my back too, by the second week. I've been to many chiropractors before & I've never had quicker results & relief from pain. I took a couple weeks off from going. I woke up yesterday in terrible pain. It was hard to walk, drive, cough, everything. I stretched & did the things the doctor previously suggested & went in to see them in the afternoon. I'm AMAZED this morning. For the first time in years I have a zero on the pain level chart. The terrible pain I had all day yesterday is completely gone! I thank God for the folks at Leander Chiropractic. When I first started seeing Doc B. I was impressed about how he was very concerned about my problems. He truely wanted to help relieve my pain. He had x-rays ordered so he could explain the source and give preventive measures to improve my health. He's not like some other Chiropractic doctors who only see dollar signs when the patients walk in and not take insurance. He works with your insurance company. Needless to say his prices are very affordable. I would have wrote a review sooner, but thought I wouldn't be able to get an appointment and the price would go up, too. But, that is not the case. Dr David Blatchely has been our chiropractor for the last 11 years. Since our son was 4 yrs old. He has done amazing things for all of us. He keeps me moving pain free and has significantly helped my son recover from many tough football games. Boys can be accident prone and he's helped with all sorts of injuries. Didn't help me and I felt worse a couple times with migraines. He cracks your neck without even feeling which needs to be adjusted properly. Nothing high tech about the office. Its a old home that is in need of some improvements to look nicer too. It is also VERY close to the highway so you need to be careful pulling in. Staff are kind but I was going to feel better and I never walked out feeling relieved. I have been under Chiropractic care for years to maintain my body and relieve headaches due to my neck. This guy can crack your back sure but so can my child! His skills are not up to par. Look elsewhere. read more
