If you want weekly quick adjustments to keep your body aligned, joint chiropractic is the best place. They have evening and weekend hours and you can be in and out in less than 10 mins. I've gone to a few locations but the past few years i've been going regularly to the Castro Valley location and Dr. Glen is the best! Please be aware, this is not like some other chiropractic places that cost $$$ I have also gone to some places where sessions will be 30 mins - 1 hour which includes a light massage and electrical stimulation (e-stim) and shockwave therapy which is also great if thats what you need but if that's the case then joint chiropractic is not the place for you. These are very quick adjustments which target your specific needs. If you're injured and need longer targeted treatment, possibly look elsewhere. read more

I bought the package of 6 treatments a while ago and had one left. I was in the Castro Valley area and decided to stop by to use up my last session in hopes that it'd be different from the last. Unfortunately, it wasn't and I left disappointed that I had used one up here in CV. 4 quick adjustments and I was out in a blink of an eye. I've gone to 3 different JC locations, and Castro Valley is the worst. The service is inconsistent and they don't focus on your painpoints. I felt the same coming in. Even my husband who was waiting in the car for me said that it took longer for me to order my macarons at Always Yours bakery than it was to get adjusted. That should be telling. I understand that the whole business model is built around no appointments and fast service but for some reason Castro Valley's set of chiropractors do not pay any attention to the needs of their patients. Instead they do the bare minimum to keep the queue moving and out the door. If you're experiencing pain, please do yourself a favor and get adjusted elsewhere. The care I received today from doctor Guinto was amazing. He knew exactly what areas were tight, inflamed and uneven. My sciatic felt a lot better and my body felt less tight. This is my review but it's also not my review. I came in to The Joint a while back because I had neglected my body and my sciatica was to the point that pain was radiating and I had some numbness in my leg. When I came in the first time, I could hardly sit due to the pain. My first visit was with Dr. Sam. He walked me through everything and really got to know about me and the pain. The adjustment was everything I had hoped it would be and more. I walked out of there feeling instantly better. He did such a good job that I kind of didn't listen to him to come back 2x a week. I felt like a million bucks! The next time I went was actually a few weeks later and there was certainly truth to them telling you how frequently to come in. It really did not feel like an attempt to get me to spend money. It helps tremendously and so worth the trip. That being said - I convinced the Mr. to go get adjusted. He's the very weary type but let me tell you - the step by step walk-through and kindness of Dr. Hunter - he's gone a few times now and always says how he wish he would have started going a long time ago. She is such a knowledgeable doctor, she really listens to your concerns, prioritizes you as the patient and gives you her full attention. I feel so much better anytime she gives me care. From the beginning of my membership my experience at this location was not the best, always busy and the average wait time was 15-20 minutes, vs other locations about a 5 minute wait time. The Manager Heather has poor customer service skills, no professionalism what's so ever. I have been trying to get in contact with her for three weeks now and discuss an error in my membership plan and she does not have the decency to personally email me nor call me, it's a simple "no" from the office associates, instructions that Heather herself has provided them. I've asked to speak to upper management or someone in corporate office and according to the front office, there is no such number to get in contact with. I have tried few Chiro in my life, saw the social media ad, went in to try it. After 3/4 session, regardless what pain I complain about - shoulder or back or knee, it is the same 3 adjustments - neck, back pop, and hip rotation, super quickly done within mins... don't think they are really addressing the issue, fast food Chiro is what it feels like. They make you commit 2mo, not sure it's worth it tbh. Used to go to Chiro inside of body mechinx, loves it, but pricing was high so gave this place a try, think I made a huge mistake. Went to this place to check out their services. Got there about a couple of minutes before 6pm. The receptionist was having a leisurely conversation with someone while I waited and at 6:02 pm she greets me and ask if I have a scan. I told her I wanted to try out the special and she said that the don't accept appointments after 6pm. So she runs the clock out past 6pm and then tells me it's too late for an appointment?? She offers me forms to fill out for "next time." I told her that I was in pain then and she shrugs. Nice to know that keeping score on the clock is more important than patient care!! Went today for an initial consultation, after being contacted from this location last week for filling out an interest form. We agreed on 10:00. Showed up at 10 and was told that they were short staffed so unable to do an initial exam. Since this was set up by joint I feel as if a call or text to let me know they could not do the initial exam. Decided to give this place a shot because we're in the area often and $39/session is a pretty good deal. Ended up purchasing $79/month because apparently I need it more than I knew. The first time paperwork wasn't long at all then we got started with Dr. Caitlin. She's pretty funny. Went in with pretty bad neck pain and came out significantly better. She also let me know all the other problems I have and how to treat it. Been sleeping really good since the adjustment. I would recommend this place! Especially if you workout!! read more

My friend recommend I come and check out the joint and I'm glad I did! They're super inexpensive for a quality adjustment. Dr. Sam and Dr.Hunter are both friendly, kind, and very professional. I really wanted to like this place for the convenience of being in our community. Unfortunately, it didn't work out due to the service provided. When I first did my consultation and paid the $29, it was a different Chiropractor that did my adjustment. And based on that I bought the package. But two different chiropractors service the place not the one I consulted with. Sadly, the weekend Chiropractor is very aggressive and has messed up my neck twice. I have been doing chiropractic work for over 15 years, but never experienced this swelling of my throat and neck and the pain like this before. I can't explain enough. I called them to just have a conversation and the receptionist Leena showed no concern or knew how to handle. I asked to speak to the management that handles the business and she said they are very busy and do not return calls. When I pressed on it, she said maybe you will get a call in two weeks and hung up. It is sad the customer service they are providing and being in our community. At this point I will just stop my subscription and stop using them. This situation is unique to me and my experience. From 15 years of experience as a customer with chiropractors, I do not think they have experienced chiropractors to run the place. And sadly, no backing for their actions. As they know legally they are protected because we waived our rights to choose to use this place. But negligence is something they have to be aware of. read more

I went in Tuesday to give the CV the Joint a shot , I've been to many chiropractors and this wasn't one of my best . I've been to the one in Hayward also , there was one other customer in there on my visit , they rushed to get me adjusted and the adjustment was just as rushed , there was no asking what's giving you problems , it was lay on table on your side jump on me , flip over and do the other side which was able to crack some . It was so rushed I was almost shocked... I'm giving it two stars cause my neck did pop and my pain has subdued some but like I said I've been to many chiropractors and this was one of the least helpful I've ever had which was disappointing cause I was expecting much more especially being my first visit Your response is almost insulting , I understand the nature of your business like I said I went to the Hayward clinic . I normally go to the Livermore joint but wanted to try this one cause it is close to home. When I walked in the receptionist was really nice but said unfortunately there would be a wait because someone else was in front of me and they were a new client and it would take longer. No problem. I sat down to wait the 20+ minutes. What annoyed me, and why I left was a few minutes later the chiropractor (a woman with dark hair) came out to get the new client and took one look at me and was really rude and also told me there would be a long wait. Where to begin. It's been a little bit since my last visit. But I have a reason for not coming back. When I came in, the staff was super friendly and I believe I was adjusted by the head chiropractor at the time. Dr. Hunter I believe was his name. Not sure if he's still there or not. But he opened up everything and it was a great adjustment. I wanted to come back. I wish I can say the same for the other time I visited. I went there 1 separate time afterwards. I was adjusted by a woman who left Joint not even a week after I was adjusted. Only reason I know that is cause I called when I tried inquiring about my last adjustment. When she adjusted me, it felt forced and I knew something felt off. Shortly after that, I started feeling numbness on one whole side of my body. I knew something wasn't right. So I put off adjustments... Which brings me to now. I had been seeing specialists and am now diagnosed with a couple of herniated discs and mild sciatica. Shortly after the incident, I tried to follow up with management, but didn't wanna read into it too much before seeing a doctor. Since then, I haven't seen a chiropractor and am a bit weary since being diagnosed. Only reason I'm bringing this up now, is because I'm getting constant texts about a black Friday deal when I already replied stop. Here's to hoping maybe they can do right by this review. My daughter has always had back problems, and so she gets adjusted regularly. I'm a regular walker, and something shifted in my back. It was keeping me from my walking. An all-around wonderful experience! The location was convenient, the interior was clean and fresh, and the staff was friendly. I walked in yesterday for an adjustment during their Grand Opening and met with Dr. Montcrieffe. She was professional, respectful and knowledgeable. We discussed my issues and she did some flexibility testing before my adjustments. She went above and beyond and found places that I didn't even know needed work! She used a skeletal representation and figure of the human body to help explain what she was working on so I had a clear understanding of the work she was doing. There were parts that were out of alignment and she was able to gently realign them back into place. She made me feel comfortable and gave thorough answers to all my questions. Tried out this clinic for the first time over the weekend and had a great experience with Dr. Kwon! He was very nice and gave me a great adjustment, I came in with some neck/shoulder pain and left feeling much better!
