I had such severe neck pain that I could barely turn my head to look over my left shoulder when driving my car, leading me to make the first appointment. Dr Wilferd is a god send! My back use to be so bad that I couldn't stand or sit for more than 10 mins at a time. My neck was a mess that I couldn't lean my head backward pass a small degree. I saw a chiropractor when I lived in New York City and he didn't help me much. Having lived with the pain for so long, I thought this is how the rest of my life was going to be like. Everything changed after I started seeing Dr. Wilferd over a year ago! First of all, she's compassionate and caring. From the moment I met her, I knew she's here for me and care deeply about my well being. She's personable and funny! I have deep respect for her at both personal and professional levels. Secondly, her technique is completely different from the chiropractor I saw in the past. She doesn't twist and pop you. Her adjustment tool is this clicker thingy and she does a combination of massage, clicking, ultrasound, heating pad and pressure points. I always feel so incredibly light and relaxed leaving her office. I'm the curious type that I asked a lot of questions during our first session. She explained everything she was doing in details, without a lot of complicated medical terms that would just fly right over my head. She's absolutely knowledgeable in her field of study. Last but not least, her approach to health is wholistic. She advised me on the type of shoes I should wear; how I should sit, stand and sleep; what exercises I need to do everyday etc. I have no doubt that this approach accelerated my recovery time. I'm not going to sugar coat it, progress takes time and you really have to follow all her instructions. But progress is possible! I was seeing Dr Wilfred every week when I first started my treatment. It then became every 3 weeks or a month. I now could sit on the plane for a 13 hour international flight without being in much pain. I could tilt my head backward like everyone else. I feel like a new person! I'm by no means done with back and neck issues but I have all the confidence that Dr Wilferd can help me manage and I can live a much better life. Jule (the chiropractor) is AMAZING. Over the years, she's become like a friend and therapist for me. She's seen me go through some major stuff and is always helpful, kind, and sweet - not to mention funny! She was the third or fourth chiropractor I went to when I had back and rib problems that NOBODY could fix. I love Jule because she works on your whole body for half an hour OR MORE. It's not just a "crack, crack, you're done" like it is with so many others. First she starts off asking how my body has been feeling, then she stretches me, uses a big massager, and starts working while I'm face down. She uses a small device to "thump" on certain spots she finds. She does not wield your body around like a rag doll. It does not hurt. While laying face down, she asks you to move your body in certain ways and then checks your feet to see if your body is in line or not. Then she goes up and finds the spot on your back or neck that is out of line. I have been AMAZED so many times that she finds a spot that I didn't even know was hurting. After she adjusts everything, she does trigger point on wherever you like - usually the area that was the worst off - and then she does deep ultrasound. I feel so much better going to her. I have recommended friends to go there and they love her just as much as I do! read more

Dr Wilferd is an amazing chiropractor. She is excellent in her profession, and I have went to her a few times when I was pregnant. She knows just where to adjust in order to make one feel a million times better. Had a back/shoulder pain due to pregnancy that prevented me from standing straight, and a few days after being adjusted I felt good as new. A friend of mine referred me to Dr. Jule Wilferd after I suffered from pain caused by another chiropracter's treatment. Dr. Wilfered is not a typical chiropractor. She does not manipulate with the scary sounds coming out of your body. Instead, she checks each part of your body and uses an activator. I did not hurt at all!! My body heals well with her treatment. Dr. Wilfered suggests to come back but not a pushy way. I don't feel I'm threatened "If you don't come back, you're going to suffer in the future." As a police officer for 26 years, I have had back and neck injuries for many years and have been to many chiropractors and massage therapists. Dr. Wilferd is the best chiropractor I have ever been treated by. She uses a variety of methods and therapies specific to my body and injuries, as opposed to just cracking my back. Her energy and personality are wonderful and she truly cares about her clients. My 16-year-old son has declared Dr. Wilferd his only chiropractor, as well.
