I have been coming here off and on for about 15 years. I was first introduced to this office when my family and I were rear ended. It took a bit of time, but they fixed us right up! I was glad to know you can have x-rays, treatment / adjustments all in the same place. It's so hard to find that all in the same building these days lol. This place was disappointing, specifically the chiropractors are unprofessional and lack bedside manner. I ended up feeling worse than when I went there due to having a different chiropractor adjusting me. I was not made aware prior to my appt beginning that there was a change in dr and the dr who adjusted me was rough and pulled my hair while adjusting me. Long story short, I left with more pain than I started with. When I returned at my next appointment and discussed with my original doctor, her demeanor was extremely defensive, uninterested and unapologetic. I've been coming to Kent Hegan Chiropractic for a little over a month. Location: Busy intersection of Jackson street and difficult to get to in the commute hours. I recommend going around through Soto and coming in through the back parking lot. Therapy Services: Ana and Alondra are amazing! Ana is very sweet and takes her time to make sure you are comfortable. She explains everything ahead of time and checks up on you often. Alondra gives the best massages out of all the therapists. All are amazing but I always feel better after her massage. Adjustments: Dr. Gong, by far one of the best chiropractors I've ever been treated by. She is gentle yet effective. She always asks how I'm doing, always asks me for progress updates and takes her time making me feel better. I'm still on the mend but feel that her treatment plan is helping me slowly recover. After a car accident, I was sent to DR. HAGAN chiropractors office. There was an extensive thorough intake in which they even took xrays. They have multiple massage therapists who treat me every visit prior to sending me to the Dr. to get a thorough adjustment. I've gone to Many Dr's offices in my life. DR. This is a terrible place to receive treatment. I dealt with Maurine Hagan, wife of Kent Hagan, who has so many problems with bedside manners and communication. She does not communicate! The care is awful and Maurine Hagan is self-absorbed. She is concerned about her tennis match and does not want to show up to office. That means no care for you the client. She has limited knowledge and it is only at a remedial level. Please do not come to this place because you will be treated very poorly. read more

I am relatively new to the Bay Area and Hayward. My wife and I moved here from San Diego during the peak of the pandemic last year. I was experiencing neck pain from working from home this past year, and I finally got around to finding a chiropractor. My chiropractor in San Diego did a combination of physical therapy and chiropractic adjustments, so I was looking for someone who specialized in both. I found Dr. Hagan from my insurance portal and double checked on Yelp. Getting my first appointment scheduled was a breeze. You can contact them via website, email or phone, and someone from their front desk will call or reply to your email within a day. I've been going to see chiropractors on and off my entire life, and this was the first time getting an X-ray. It's reassuring that the treatment plan is derived from the investigative evaluation they perform. Dr. Hagan's practice is the first one I've been to that has a full team of massage therapists and chiropractors working together under the same roof. Staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. I was very impressed with their seemless system of therapy and adjustments. I've been getting treatments for about 3 weeks now, and I can honestly say I'm very happy with my decision. Edit: COVID-19 safety protocols in place. I went here a couple months ago and honestly I thought this would be my permanent chiropractor in the first session. They started with X-rays and a general check up which no other location had done for me. They did find my neck and upper back needed the most help so they set up a plan for me. On my second session they were going to go over the details in depth but I sat in the office for so long I had to go. I was 15 mins early and they brought me in the office right on time and I still had to wait 15-20mins. I walked out and rescheduled. When I came back he explained in detail what the plan was. I was all for it but when we went to do the adjustment all he did was my neck. He spent MAYBE 5 mins on it if that and told me it was done. Before I laid down I did mention bc I work in office my lower back was killing me that day he nodded and again only focused on my neck and moved on to the next customer. Yes, customer not patient. That's how he and his entire team made me feel. They of course push their EXTRA cost massage every single time. No matter what the "Dr" just did for you they will push the massage for an extra $30. I cancelled my last appointment and never plan on rescheduling again. He doesn't seem to care to take care of my entire well being and I don't care to keep wasting my time and money there. read more

I made an appointment online for May 31, 2023 at 3:45 pm. Arrived a few minutes early, filled out the necessary paperwork and turned it in. I then waited, and waited, and waited for 50 minutes without any sign of being seen by anyone. A lady came out, spoke to the receptionist about what appeared to be my file, she looked at the clock and said hopefully we have time. Not sure why a business would overbook other than to maximize earnings at the expense of upsetting customers. Waiting with an appointment for over 50 minutes and only God knows for how much longer before I was seen is just not acceptable. I am not a very demanding person and understand that when one is a new patient it takes time to be processed but we are talking about waiting for 50 minutes without any feedback until I got up and left. Not the way you run a business. My review is probably not important to most but if I can save a few people from wasting their time. Its good enough for me. It should also be noted that while I was waiting a man came in to serve a Subpoena for the Chiropractor. Granted there could be a number of reasons for the subpoena. Many of the reasons could be negative, making them concerns to patients. read more

I have been a patient for many years. I initially came in because of severe neck pain, low back pain and headaches. Within the first few sessions, I began feeling noticeably better. My quality of life improved over the years. I now come in for routine treatment and to assist with an ongoing battle with migraines. Dr. Eric Hall is very personable, and takes a more natural approach to treating the body. He makes me feel relaxed and watches my body carefully for any tension and reactions. The gals in Therapy are very friendly and take the time to find out how I'm doing in my personal life, and make an effort to connect with me. It's a very welcoming environment. Dr. Hagan is very knowledgeable and in tune with his practice. He has been mindful of my disability and so long as I have updated him on my health procedures, he has adjusted his treatment to cater to my physical limitations. One day he had to adjust me while seated in a chair after an abdominal surgery. I really appreciate the flexibility in treatment to meet the patients needs. I use to solely seek treatment from him until I met Dr. Eric. Both approaches are unique to their version of healing, and depending on how my body is feeling, I will choose to work with either doctor. I'm petite so it's nice to get adjusted by a female that won't treat me like I'm a football player. I've experienced with past chiropractors. I've only been here a handful of times and each time it's gotten worse. It doesn't matter when your appointment is, expect to wait a minimum of 35-45 minutes for a simple adjustment. I schedule other appointments an entire hour after and still don't make them. It's ridiculous to expect someone to come in multiple times a week and wait so long for an adjustment that takes less than 5 minutes. I waited 40 mins today and ended up having to leave. It's too much of a waste of time to be able to excuse it. I will be looking for chiropractic care elsewhere. read more
