I should have known better. I had a horrible experience here my first visit so I deliberately go to a location further away. But today, I wanted to go before their lunch break at 2 and got her at 1:50PM; more than enough time before their break... or so I thought. 1. They force you to walk around to the front... parking is in the back. Horrible customer experience to force someone to walk to the front from the back around the building. 2. I had an appointment at 11:30 and got here at 11:15 just in case I needed to fill out paperwork and once I got there they were closed and had a post it on the door that said closed, will open at 11:30. Weird, but I waited and when I came back at 11:30 the post it was scratched off at the time was changed to 12! I wanted to leave a warning to anyone interested in signing up for the joint. The woman at the front desk (Lisa) at the PV location was extremely rude. She told me that she would help me with the situation over the phone and and cancel my subscription without needing to come in because of all the issues however it was not taken care of. She explained to me that she explained she set up my account and was very clear with everything however I was not told each session would be 5 min or less. Anyone who knows about chiropractic or goes often knows five minutes it's not enough to do anything. I truly felt deceived and when asked to come in and cancel, I explained the situation and still was not canceled. Once upon a time I LOVED this franchise. However over the past year my respect has diminished significantly. They are closing many of their offices on Sundays and as a result you have to wait over 1.75 hours to get adjusted. They are treating chiropractic care like a fast food franchise. Not for the best interests of the patients. They are putting more money into their new décor instead of hiring more doctors... After my contract ends in 2021I will not renew it!!! read more

When I called to schedule an appointment with a good friend of mine. He isn't from AZ. & I have worked in the Medical field for over 25yrs & said I would help him. He has struggled for years in AZ. with not getting the correct medical care he should have. The only and best part about this Chiropratic office was the 1st women on the phone. When we showed up for the appt., we could not see the Chiroprator they wanted X-ray's for an injury over 20yrs ago. No one told us in advance. So we did what was asked, next appointment they wanted a photo, not a CD & Report, they wanted a photo. He got upset because they then said they can't print the CD. The Woman MD on the front door would not give him an adjustment. This place "Joint" is so unprofessional, RUDE, and stay away!!!!!! My knowledge & experience they lied and handle everything so unprofessional. When you have Dr. by your name, you have to say & handle situations that might not be easy. Don't lie or blame it on the front desk. I would NEVER recommend either Harris or Alecia Burnett. 1 star Dr. Harris or Burnett don't even get that star read more

The joint is great for the convenience alone, add inexpensive to that and good customer service, what more can really be asked? The joint seems to do exactly what they have set out to, from my perspective, that is affordable, convenient, and quick chiropractic care. I can appreciate the necessity for an independent chiropractic office who takes the time to do physical therapy, rehab, and over all health plans with their patients; that's just not what I need personally and not what I'm looking for at this time. I just need the adjustments, and honestly, don't want to pay for an hour long appointment, especially when an entire month here will cost me mere dollars more then *one co-pay to a chiropractic clinic. Take this place for what it is, a quick adjustment, when you need it most. Please don't ever go here. I've been going to the same chiropractor for years in Seattle and moved here with a sudden rib out. I needed a last minute adjustment and went here. Two times in a day. The lady told me it's a muscle issue but it's a muscle issue because my rib is still out of place. I can't breathe. I can't talk. I can't move my head left or right and now woke up with my entire trap and shoulder in pain. I have to have someone help me move off the bed to get up or lift my head. I didn't do anything to land a muscle injury. The muscle injury is from a rib displacing and at this point I never want to return. I have a disc sticking out in my neck. I iced all day and night for two days and my symptoms are just getting worse. This place is the worst place I've been to. I've always been fixed up from even the worst of pains and somehow this place makes you leave feeling worse than when you came in. I didn't want a package I just wanted to get adjusted in an emergency as the pain I'm feeling is unbearable right now. She told the front desk I wanted a package when I never actually even said that. Then the front desk tried to sell me on a package when I said I wasn't interested. So now it feels like this locations main focus is to just sell wellness packages even when you don't want one. read more

Came in due to some chronic back pain I had been feeling the past week. I was seen right away however the doctor only had worked on my back for about 5 mins and then went right into telling me how I needed to visit 6-8 more times to be fully cured and the packages I could pay for to accomplish this. My experience here could be compared to going to a used car dealership. I am not sure what I expected out of a low cost corporate Chiropractic company. You are in and out in less than 3 minutes and they jerk you around and leave you feeling worse than when you walked in. Not to mention the hard sell the Jersey woman with 2 inch nails gives you. I have now tried to contact them 4 times via email to cancel my membership (with email confirmation to show it was received) and no one will give me a response. I literally walked out the day I signed up and instantly regretted it and once I got home was in more pain than when I walked in that day. SHAME on The Joint for refusing to do ANYTHING about a HORRIBLE employee!!!!!! On March 30th, Dr. John Harris at 7th Ave & McDowell gave me a bizarre and frightening "adjustment" I've ever experienced and forced me into very painful stretches, which resulted in the worst back pain I've ever known. Over 2 months later, having had countless adjustments and paying for multiple deep tissue massages, I am STILL in excruciating pain, with knots/spasms no one can believe. I have been barely able to walk, move, or breathe thanks to that idiot. In addition, their stupid male receptionist didn't bother to tell me it was my 5th visit of the month until AFTER my torture session. So to add insult to literal injury, I actually PAID to be seriously hurt. I was in pain before I even got back into the car!!! Neither the Joint nor that sorry excuse for a chiropractor has contacted me. I have had to pay for extra adjustments, X-rays, and massages with no offer of reimbursement. Not even an inquiry or an apology. I've just been COMPLETELY ignored. The Joint stands idly by while Harris embarrasses the entire profession, and lends a bad reputation to all the really great doctors who do work for them (try Surprise or 59th & Union Hills instead). [3.5 for quality of service and solid 4 for convenience...3.5] Desperate and in pain I needed help. I had already gone for a deep tissue massage but it didn't help. I asked my friends for referrals, but I couldn't wait. Having seen these pop up all over town and reading a few reviews for the Camelback location, I decided to give the closest one to me a try [i.e The McDowell and 7th Ave location.] Calling in I asked to make an appointment and was told that they are strictly a walk-in clinic and don't take appointments. I asked how busy they were and she said they were not, so I rushed over. After a completing the relatively quick administrative stuff , I was almost immediately lead behind a thick wall which partitioned the waiting area from the treatment area. There were several treatment tables, presumably to work on multiple clients at the same time if necessary.[A chiropractor I had been to in the past had about 8 treatment tables and worked on several patients simultaneously.] Dr. Lee was friendly and covered the necessary bases asking standard questions and having me describe what I was feeling. After a few pops here, another one there and a few clicks of his activator and I was on my way. Still in pain but hopeful. He recommended I stop in again the next day. I stopped at the desk paid my $19 for my first initial visit. (Woah I like this.) They have package plans but I wasn't being forced the up sale which was great but the prices on the packages are quite reasonable. Still in pain and still desperate I went back the next day (Saturday, yes they have very convenient hours.). Again I was greeted politely, scanned the little bar code card I was given on the previous day and only waited a few minutes before I was greeted by Dr. Lee and escorted back to the treatment tables. Again he maneuvered and tried a more energy based technique (hey I am down with that, I often seek out New Age healing techniques) . I felt some movement and momentum and he advised me that if I was still feeling the pain by Monday I should go in to my Primary Care Physician. [Which I ended up having to do.] Ok, after all that here it is, in short. Would I go there again? Yes. Sometimes all I need is to get in, get out and get on my way. The doctor here is good. Cannot remember his name. The front desk personnel, one being lady "Lisa", have horrible customer service. If you need to, get an account elsewhere and come see this doctor. Lisa doesn't understand its not the product we get but how people are treated which makes a good business thrive. This is one of these times. Don't waste your time signing up here. Lisa continued to charge my account after getting deployed at a higher rate. She stated a "freeze" was signed and not a cancellation: all forms she provided. I've been to other Joint locations and had good experiences and good outcomes, so I had no reservations going to this location for the first time...... big mistake. The receptionist was unfriendly, and very short in her answers. Really did not seem to care about anything. Went back to see the doctor, very impersonal. Did not introduce himself, did not shake my hand didn't even ask me why I was there or what was wrong, just told me lay on the table. He did the adjustments, told me to ice the area and said see you later. I've never felt so used before. Worst of all, I feel like I'm in worse pain than before. My neck now "clicks" when I look to the right, I almost feel paralyzed. Horrible. I only went to them because they were close to me at the time. Next time I will travel to what I see as the better location. I was generous to give a two star review because they were open on Sunday. read more

The Joint on 7th Ave in Phoenix is top-notch with friendly staff and excellent Chiropractors. I had a problem with Bursitis in my elbow that had persisted for weeks.
