The doctors at Arcadia Chiropratic have been taken care of my aches and pains for almost 10 years. Both doctors are personable, and are experts in their field. The office staff and assistants are always friendly and helpful. What I really appreciate this time is that Dr. Kuhn referred me to a spine specialist, since we are not making great progress with my constant lower backpain. I always feel better when I leave the office, but my job requires me standing for 8 hours straight. An MRI also showed issues with my disks. When it comes to all inclusive chiropractic care, Dr. Dom is as good as it gets! I came to Arcadia Health and Wellness on a recommendation from a good friend of mine. She has been singing Dr. Dom's accolades for years, and she was confident that he could "fix my migraine problem". Excellent Chiro Physical Therapy is part of the package They have a great cash price if your insurance doesn't cover you. **** That was my original review about 7 months ago. Here is a more in depth follow up. I am much better now, and have a lot more energy and can work full time + without physical pain. I was a candidate for back surgery, but now I'm cured. These guys deserve the credit. It's great to have found a chiro who cares much more about my well being than his wallet. ------- These guys are NOT your average chiros. I started seeing Dr Dominic on the recommendation of friends who drive in from the town of Maricopa to see Dr Dom. They drive over an hour to get here and must pass at least a thousand chiropractors in the process. In addition, at least 5 family members and additional friends drive in from Maricopa also. These folks can afford to see anyone. In itself, I thought that it was a pretty good recommendation. When I first came to Dr Dom I was in a lot of pain. My right front thigh would go numb, both my shoulders had huge knots under the shoulder blades and i would constantly get headaches. I was missing 1 or 2 days of work out of every 3 due to pain. In addition, I had lousy insurance so I knew I was going to get killed financially. Dr Dom did my first consult and because i was such a mess, he wrote me a scrpt to get an MRI. He was able to secure a discounted price with SMIL to my relief. A week later, armed with my MRI, Dr Dom went to work. He adjusted me on his table, then put my on a NASA machine that reads your vertebrae and adjusts gently, and adjusted me some more. Finally he prescribed Physical Therapy and electro stim for me and electro stim for me. This was all done then and there and took an additional 45 minutes. My final bill was an astounding $45! I hadn't expected to get out for less than $200. I went multiple times a week and then on an as needed basis. I have been treated many times on a drop-in basis because my schedule varies a lot and is hard to predict. On a few occasions, Dr Matt has helped me because Dr Dom was sick or on vacation. I was a little nervous to have someone else treat me, but Dr Matt turned out to be excellent. So often there is one rock star and then there is the substitute. Not the case here! Dr Matt is also a rock star. Both he and Dr Dom have excellent skills and instinct, and they listen to what you are saying. I have had my neck, back, shoulders, elbows, wrist, fingers and even a knee adjusted by these guys. Their physical therapy team (Kasey and Vince,) is full-time, consistent, competent and pleasant. Today Kasey used a graston?? tool to massage my forearms as they get sore from typing. Dr Dom carries a lot of physical therapy tools that you can buy (S hooks, neck wedges,) at Amazon prices. They also have a futuristic traction table (decompression table,) that has computer sensors that años it to pull just right, not to hard and not too gently. It costs $55 per session. They also have in house massage therapists for $49/hr. Finally they hold classes on a regular basis after hours. Sometimes classes are free, and sometimes not. Subjects range from CPR Training to how to do trigger point therapy. (Dr Dom teaches trigger point therapy to doctors at Mayo.) If you are older and have brittle bones, go see Dr Dom. His NASA machine can adjust you gently. I still go to Dr Dom about once a month because an adjustment keeps me in top shape. He and his team have fixed me. It's been a much better (and cheaper) option than fusing 3 vertebrae. Dr Dom and crew saved my quality of life and are making sure it stays safe. Do yourself a favor and go see the folks if you have back, neck, shoulder, hip or knee pain. If you are considering surgery, go see them first! They will probably save your life too. PS. They are at 36th St and Indian School Just to clarify, the adjustment, NASA machine, physical therapy and electro stim are all included for $45. I really thought that I'd found a good place after I was rear ended. It may be an awesome place but today three me a lot. I came in for whip lash after being rear ended. They did a thorough exam and x-rays. My spine and upper back is not feeling completely better and my neck and shoulders still crunch when I move them. Last week Dr. Dom said to make an appointment for a recheck. I came in today for the appointment and without re-doing X-rays he said he's done all he can do for me. I'm having hip surgery for a chronic condition and he said to see how I feel after surgery and if i need to come back I can. I don't really understand what happened. I feel as though I was making progress and now I feel as though I was kicked out of treatment. Maybe my insurance claim finished, I'm not sure. It's a bummer, I felt like my back was starting to make progress but it definitely isn't better. read more

I have been treated at 6 chiropractic practices over the past 31 years. I have had good treatment and what I learned was potentially dangerous adjustments by some of the chiropractors that I used before seeing Dr. Dom and Dr. Matt at Arcadia Health and Wellness. The qualifications of these two terrific chiropractors, the effectiveness of their treatments, their cheerful and caring approach to their science and art and their caution about what adjustments are safe for each patient are extraordinary. Very impressive. this is NOT an post-auto accident treatment mill where the goal is to maximize the number of treatments that you receive (and, as an attorney who used to do a great deal of plaintiff's personal injury work, I know how risky it is to go to those practices). I found out that one adjustment that previous chiropractors had been using on me was very dangerous based on information that could be seen in my x-rays. Dr. Dom told me why it was dangerous and that I should never allow any chiropractor to use that technique. Thank you, Dr. Dom, from saving me from disaster. I have had 3 troublesome conditions that have required me to make many visits over the past 6 months. Fortunately all of them, including one serious situation that threatened my ability to continue working, are now under control. Those visits have given me an opportunity to see how things work at this office. Every person on their support staff that I have met have a very positive attitude, are consistently helpful and genuinely care about the patients. Dr. Dom is, hands down, the best care provider I've ever been to for anything. He always knows how to fix or work toward fixing what's wrong with your body. Doing CrossFit and Weightlifting leaves my body with some serious aches and pains, but seeing Dr. Dom every few weeks keeps me feeling good and allows me to function and perform the way I want to. I started coming here over a year ago when I was experiencing terrible knee pain that prevented me from squatting. No other doctors, PTs, mobility experts, etc were able to help. Working with Dr. Dom since then has gotten me to the point where I don't even have to wear knee wraps or sleeves to work out. My knees are even better than they were before! Dr. Dominic is amazing. His practice is holistic and takes into account more than just adjustments. Flexibility and strength are highlighted as being integral components of successful treatment. One strikingly different ideology Dr. Dominic has is that he only treats individuals who are going to improve. He is not here to indefinitely bill your insurance. I have been working in Phoenix for few weeks from NY where I have my chiropractic. I was in need to see someone while here and someone recommended me dr Dom. When I got there the first time they assigned me dr Matt, I was a bit disappointed but when he worked on me I knew he was very good too. I went twice a week for few weeks and I have to say that I feel much better with my neck, back and hips problem and pain. It's a chiropractor. They'll set you up on as many visits as they can, even if you don't necessarily need it, like any other chiropractor. For me it was 5 minutes of stretching, 2 minutes of adjustments, and 5 minutes of electro therapy (or whatever it's called), all for like $60. I just stretch on my own now and avoid obvious stressors on my neck and lower back, probably could have been suggested after visit 2. Can't say I didn't feel better after the first adjustment, but it just wasn't worth sticking to a 6 week program. Some people swear by chiropractors, while others claim they are frauds. Guess it depends on your situation and chiropractor, but id say these guys are probably better than your average group. read more

The place is magic! I ended up with a really bad neck injury that was leaving me unable to drive, sleep well, or even look up. I had never really tried chiropractor work but was pretty desperate to ease my pain so I gave it a wack. I tried 4 spots, they were awful - but on the 5th try I found DR. G!! He is so in tune to what is wrong, how to fix it, and realistic with what your part in fixing yourself is. Since I've found him I feel like a new person with a much younger and fit body! I was staying at our vacation home in PHX in May of 2013. Unfortunately I pulled my back during a weight-lifting workout routine at our Condo. I could barely walk back to our unit as I experienced extreme back spasms. Things were not good. My wife (of whose yelp acct I'm using) kindly went online and searched out a Chiropractor in our area, but more importantly one that would be familiar and involved with sports injuries. Thankfully she landed upon Dr. Dominic Pisaro at Arcadia Health and Wellness Chiropractic. I called and was able to get in right away. I slowly made my way through the front doors and Dr. Pisaro recognized I was in rought shape right away. I had a bulging disc. During my assessment and subsequent 3 more treatment visits, Dr. Pisaro explained every proceedure to me and what I might expect. He continuously assured me to take my time in moving into the positions that he required of me for treatment. I was given and correctly shown (by his Assistant) home exercises to complete and work on. Dr. Pisaro and his staff were able to get me in good enough shape to fly back to Canada as scheduled. This place is awesome. The staff is great and Dr. Dom goes above and beyond when helping others. Recently, I broke my toe and wanted to get Xrays to make sure nothing else was hurt. I went in to see him and he didn't like what he saw after an exam. He stayed after work for me and waited after he referred me to another imaging center (he does have an Xray machine) to get a second opinion on my broken toe. I brought the image back and he discovered it was, in fact, broken. He taught me how to splint it to keep it stable. Now, my toe is doing great and I'm back to my normal activities. Thanks Dr. Dom! I have also been in to get my neck adjusted when I strained it and I've also gotten a massage there. My experiences there were great both times and I'm all healed up from everything. When I walked in the first day, it hurt to even sit in a chair or drive my rental car. A couple times I was in tears in Dr. Dom's office and he was so compassionate and understanding to my situation. Dr. Dom and Dr. Matt are the BEST - I can't even express how much we miss coming to Arcadia Health and Wellness. We moved to LA last year and were so sad that we couldn't take Dr. Dom with us. Every time I'm in Phoenix, I make sure to schedule an appointment, and try to convince him to move to LA because we still haven't found anyone who provides the same care. I (half-jokingly) say that we'll move back to Phoenix just for Dr. Dom! Another CrossFitter/weightlifter recommended Dr. Dom, and I liked that he was knowledgable about the sports and had treated athletes like me before. I came in with neck/shoulder pain and frequent tension headaches, and six months later, my overhead stability improved and my headaches and pain were gone. CrossFit and Olympic weightlifting put a lot of wear and tear on my body, and Dr. Dom's treatments and at-home exercises helped me recover and get stronger. Competency, concern/compassion for others, and availability. If a provider lacks any of these essential elements, their practice does not flourish and patients go elsewhere. Not only are these doctors highly competent, compassionate and readily available, but they are also great educators of their craft. I first became a patient of the practice after a hip injury, which has long since been healed. Since my initial foray in their practice, I have dealt with a wide variety of musculoskeletal concerns. I enjoy being active and like to ski, bike, climb, hike, etc. and for every injury I seek guidance and healing, I am rewarded with faster recuperation and a better understanding of how to prevent and rehabilitate similar injuries in the future. For example, learning about trigger points, how to stretch my 'IT' band and developing simple yoga poses (which have helped me maintain strength and flexibility) are but a few of the insights I have gained from working with Dr. Dom and Dr. Matt. I was initially referred by a trusted friend, became a loyal patient, and have since referred dozens of others to their practice. Dr. Dominic is absolutely the best. He is thorough and sets up a plan for your rehabilitation. Not only does he have a plan for when you come to your appointment, but also a plan for you at home.
