*Updated review* There seem to have been some miscommunication with what I was told. However, with that being said, one of the chiropractics promptly reached out to me and explained the billing confusion. My insurance sent me an EOB but I was informed I wouldn't be receiving a bill from them for anything. My review was solely based on this. The massage and adjustment itself were both great. I was contacted via Linked in from one of the chiropractors to come in for a free adjustment and massage. He informed me to bring my medical insurance but that they were only going to run it to find out if I was covered with future services. I was told that I was covered, etc and just received a notice from my insurance company that the doctor was out of network and I may be billed for the original service. I was offered a free service and shouldn't be charged at all. I would not recommend this practice if they are pulling shady stuff and I definitely am not paying this bill. I got in a car accident in March of this year and went to a few appointments with my first chiropractor who didn't seem to be doing anything for me and very pushy with telling me I needed to come 4 times a week. I wasn't feeling any pain relief and yet I was still told I had a ton of degeneration in my neck and low back. This was not the case at all with AZ chiropractic! I immediately felt welcomed and they did not use scare tactics to get me to sign up for a plan. They are very knowledgeable. They went over my X-rays and confirmed the neck issue that was shown was clearly a result of the accident, whiplash. My chest also was caved in a bit in the middle/left from my seatbelt in the accident and I was experiencing lower and middle back pain as well since. After just two adjustments and a 30 minute (excellent) massage right in the office, my chest issue was fixed 90%. I am so happy I can't believe it. I had a nagging pain in my chest there when laying a certain way and now it's so much better. Adding a picture here to show the difference! Very disappointing. Was sitting outside AZ chiropractic since 9 am because their yelp page, their website, and their door all state that they open at 9 am. Nobody was here but I just figured someone was running late so I hung out in my vehicle until a girl showed up at 9:20 to open the building. She walks up and unlocks the door then locks it behind her. I walk up to the door to go in and stand there until she returns. I tell her that the website says they open at 9 and she says that is just for massage. Umm am I missing something because the place is called AZ CHIROPRACTIC not "AZ MASSAGE" nowhere on their website does it say that chiropractic services are closed on the weekends. read more

Dr. Roach is the only chiropractor who has the perfect mix of finesse and force. Some doctors can crack my neck 1/2 way and some can't even get it to budge. They just make it hurt more. However, Dr. Roach is the ONLY doctor who can thoroughly "crack" my neck each and every time. I'm a tough case b/c I was in a swimming accident (neck/back) and a major interstate auto accident (neck/shoulder) within a 6 mos time frame about 7 years ago. Unfortunately, due to ignorance, I waited about 4 years too long before getting after care. Now, my body is super tough to manipulate. I'd see Dr. Roach every day if I could but I live and work too far away. I highly recommend Dr. Roach for tough cases and newbies. See below for his office hours. Call ahead to schedule an appointment. His office now offers trigger point injections by a licensed N.P. I've had these at other establishments and they work wonders on old, tight, stubborn tissue (ie, knots). They're great when incorporated with massage. My personal advice is to invest in Ibuprofen, Bio-freeze, and a far-infared heating pad. Dr. Roach accepts insurance and has a club membership, too, for non-insured patients. read more

Dr Jeffrey reached out to me through LinkedIn. He offered free 1/2 hour massage with chiropractic adjustment. I have not ever had chiropractic treatment before as decided to try it. The massage was fine and Dr Jeffrey adjusted my neck, back and hips. I didn't think I had an issue and was interested merely in maintenance adjustments. In the car ride hone I realized that I could turn my head further to the right than before the adjustment. I hadn't even realized that I was stiff in my neck. I'm beyond delighted and now go e dry other week for 1/2 hour massage and adjustments. It's billed through my health insurance and I never see a bill. I highly recommend AZ Chiropractic. read more

I've been through several chiropractors over the years because of my back and none of them compare to the level of service and treatment I've received at AZ Chiropractic. Dr. Roach has been phenomenal at getting and keeping my back in shape over the past year. I love his approach that I followed him from the last practice he worked at and don't have plans to change my chiropractor...ever! There other chiropractor there (who's name I always forget) is also very good. I've only been adjusted by him once, but he's the only other chiropractor I trust to work on my back. Along with general chiropractic services, they have a wonderful masseuse, Kim. She is amazing at massaging out stress held in my back and loosening up tight ligaments, like my IT bands. During my last session, she worked on my tight IT band which was causing me some slight pain and tightness in my knee. Afterwards, my knee felt amazing! And that achy tight pain was gone. read more

Dr Jeffrey educated me on how the spine works. I've had a stiff neck for about 12 years and didn't realize that I lost a good amount of range looking up. he adjusted my neck and I immediately felt a difference. What a GREAT find! AZ Chiropractic has a very friendly and professional staff. Went to see them when I pinched a nerve in my lower back. They fit me in the next day for an adjustment and the day after for a massage. Fantastic work, feeling much better! The BEST thing is the office does NOT pressure you into a 3 x a week then 2 x a week schedule as other chiropractors have tried to do with me. Their philosophy is see us in a week IF you're not improving, if you are, come back in two weeks for a followup. I've had two different chiropractors here and they were both exceptionally good and really knew how to adjust. They take their time and have great hands for their profession. I've been going to chiropractors for 20 years and I think these guys are the best in this area of Cactus and Tatum. I felt robbed by this office. New patient consult only took less than 15 minutes. They took my insurance information, but did not file a claim with the insurance company at all. So why go through all the hoops? It's good that they opens on Saturdays, but the doctor only work on 1 Saturday per month. Please don't get fooled by all the nice reviews on here. Dr. Roach is a fabulous chiropractor! I have been to many over the years and rate him in my top three (my other two are Canadian Chiro's) If I could give some truthful, well intention-ed advice it would be to give him a try. He is intuitive, friendly, skillful and unlike most takes the extra time to give a good check in and a relaxing massage pre-adjustment. I felt very comfortable, heard and understood. He is an approachable guy, a friendly face that actually cares about what is going on with my body. He also has an excellent way of explaining his treatment while I am on the table, why he is approaching his adjustment in the way that he is. I came to him this time because of a bad experience with another chiro while traveling and he helped me get back into sync with a few mindful adjustments (not too soft or too hard). Dr. Kevin Roach and his staff are fabulous! I have been doing therapy for an accident over 10 years ago and have visited many practices in the valley, this is among the best. Had a great visit with Dr. Paul Jeffrey. He was very friendly and informative of how his office could help me. His adjustment felt great, so from a chiropractic perspective, it was a nice visit. I am taking away one star due to the physical environment, however. There was absolutely no air in the entire office, making it very stuffy and uncomfortable. Even worse, there was a peculiar odor that really drove me nuts after a couple minutes of sitting in the waiting area. I am assuming it is from the Medit. place next-door that is creeping into AZ Chiropractic through the air ducts. Regardless of where it was coming from, though, I was not pleased with the air quality. Side Note: They also do not accept American Express here, which is my card of choice, and while this isn't a reason to take away another star in the rating, it does impact my first impression of the office quite negatively. read more

Az chiropractic is an amazing place that makes you feel right at home, the whole staff is friendly and makes sure you leave feeling relieved and pain free! Dr Jeffrey does the adjustments and he has fixed my back and neck issues. The massage therapists are AMAZING, and so is their receptionist April!!! AZ Chiropractic is my first experience with a chiro. I had a pinched scapula nerve for a couple weeks that was making my fingers numb. I tried a massage, but didn't even touch the issue. All suggestions were to go to a chiropractor. I Groupon'd my first appointment for a massage and adjustment. I HATED the massage because it hurt so much, but did feel better afterward. I went back a couple days later for trigger point injections of a holistic compound. I had hope after just two appointments that relief was a possibility. They worked on me and with my insurance and got me back to "normal." I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ana's masseuse skills. The place is casual, friendly and accommodating.
