I'm absolutely beside myself. I have been REALLY looking forward to seeing Christy Cline for months and I am in shock at the abhorrent way they treated me. When I had questions about signing paperwork that takes away ANY & ALL rights about malpractice and also having to sign a document giving full control about future procedures to be performed, I have questions. Instead of Ms. Cline having a conversation with me to help me better understand, she stated that she couldn't talk to me until or unless I signed her malpractice documents. FISHY! I've NEVER encountered a healthcare professional like this in my life. I guess the entire lobby filled with supplements and the printed sign by check in stating "due to so many cancellations, you will now be charged for missed appointments". Good luck with charging me. Even still, I'm still super bummed. I just want to feel better. My friends that referred me here are in shock. Moving on. read more

I've dealt with a chronic illness for close to 20 years and although I like my PCP I was still in the old-school doctor/patient relationship where I was getting very good care with a specific issue, but outside of that my doctor really didn't have the time to really deal with the other issues I was beginning to have as a man in his mid 50s. I really needed someone else, with a different approach, who would take the time to listen to me and see if they could help. Thankfully I happened upon SWIM and it has helped out tremendously. I went in the office (calm and comfortable atmosphere), and just asked the the receptionist about setting up an appointment. I believe they have free consultations, but they also had a more in-depth consultation that included running some blood tests, and additional time with the doctor which was offered at an additional cost. So I made an appointment with Dr. T for a more in-depth consultation and I'm glad I did. In my first appointment I had a solid hour with Dr. T and we went over all of the issues I had concerns with. There was some good back and forth discussions that frankly I have never had with a doctor. Seriously, when was the last time a doctor spent an hour with you? I've been seeing Dr. T for about 9-10 months now. I still need my PCP for my specific chronic issue, but for me...for my additional healthcare needs...I needed someone else to fill in the gaps that my PCP just couldn't address. Being a retired Health & wellness Coach, finding a doctor that ticks off all my boxes was not an easy task, especially when you are post menopausal. I contacted Dr Terranella prior to making an office visit & decided to give it a go. It's been 2 years now & I'm very pleased with how Dr. Terranella listened & did not judge, he made the necessary tweaks to my HRT even though it did not follow what is considered "normal." For those that make the claim that they diagnosed themselves off the internet, I say well done, we all should be "informed patients" we should be doing our homework & asking questions. Not new to the Integrative Medicine approach, I was searching for a Physician who is a true healer, who listens to me and my symptoms to research the root cause instead of slapping an RX in my hand which can cause poor health effects later on in life. Dr. Cline and Dr. Terranella each take into account the entire "picture" of health; symptoms with bloodwork, self/family history, and then they investigate during your visits as well as inform and educate. I'm not just a number/patient that has a 15 minute slot in their schedule. I have put off writing a review of SIM only because it might take me an hour to write what they deserve! I found them online, called to make an appointment and the doctor answered the phone! What the what? As other reviewers have said, this is not like any ordinary doctor. They are both wonderful caring people and truly want to help you feel better. I started going to get acupuncture for severe pain in my back and neck. I am totally pain free and know that if it ever returns I can get the help I need. Dr Robin Terranella helped me with hormone issues. I wanted to go in and just get prescribed something right away. A normal doctor who truly didn't care probably would have done that. But Dr. T wanted me to complete testing and he asked me numerous questions to determine the correct approach to my issues. I recently figured out my severe foot pain was due to plantar fasciitis... classic symptoms. Dr T was able to fit me in asap for acupuncture then we discussed many home care remedies I can do to expedite the healing of this painful condition. I returned for traumeel injections which hurt, but I am convinced they were the key to a speedy recovery. All the literature I read said it could take up to a year to heal. I'm in month # 2 of treatments and feel 90% better. He is knowledgeable, friendly, professional and very gentle. I like that the Dr.'s take their time and are genuine in their concern of your well being. Dr. Cline is truly an expert in her field and is excellent at explaining everything in layman terms- diagrams included! :o) Made much more progress with Dr. Cline than I did my primary care physician and endocrinologist. They did accept my insurance for blood work, but in my case, insurance won't cover the office visits. Very reasonable prices considering the time and attention that each patient is given. Feeling super blessed to have found SIM and on a road to better health. More progress with Dr. Cline in two months than two other western medicine doctors in a year. Office Staff/Experience= 3 stars Just a heads-up, although Dr. Cline is awesome, the office staff, although friendly, needs a little more training- had a few mishaps on three occasions with scheduling and other odd errors that seem like they should be non-issues and standard procedures (like scheduling. and calling to schedule me for results after I had already seen a doctor to review my results). I also don't like that when I'm there in person, they answer and spend several minutes responding to a phone call, rather than myself and other clients who are physically in the office- especially when we are there before the phone ever rang. My doctor there is really nice however I wanna give it a one star. The reason is the front desk lady was so rude. Anytime I go in there she gives me a nasty look and i feel a pressure of judgement and that she wants me gone. I had texted the line and she was unprofessional. She was sassy and said well if you don't have that I'm not helping you it's your fault. She even put this face :| . I'm still going to go back but I hope something with her can change. They are both Great. It is completely opposite of going to your regular doctor. They actually take the time to listen to you. Your first visit is a hour and a half. Most doctors will only talk to you for about 10 min. They have helped me tremendously. read more

This review is long overdue! I started seeing Dr. Cline a few years ago and it was the best decision I have made when it comes to my health. I was having various issues with fatigue and not feeling like myself and had seen so many different doctors and no one could provide with me with any concrete answers. Finally, I stumbled upon Dr. Cline and felt like I was finally being heard. She is so knowledgeable, and patient and takes the time to sit with you to discuss all of your symptoms. Where other doctors were stumped at my symptoms, Dr. Cline had a hunch about what the cause was, but made sure to run labs to support her initial prognosis. Of course she was spot on, because she is THAT good, but I love that she doesn't jump to conclusions or brush off a symptom or a gut feeling you are having about your health. My treatment plan included natural, plant based supplements and I always felt so comfortable with the treatment plan. If I ever wanted to deviate for whatever reason, she always found a way to ensure that I was comfortable with the plan. She doesn't force anything on her patients and is extremely patient. I moved out of state and decided to start seeing a different NMD and after one visit, knew I had to go back to Dr. Cline. I am now seeing her via telephone and as always, her treatment plans are spot on. I have sent other friends to her and they have all loved her and had great results with her as well. What allot of you don't know is that at the beginning of this year I was wanting more for my health then 15 mins the the medical doctors giver you. They run blood test tell you that you are getting old and put you on drugs made in the lab and not from natural herbs. They have all sores of side effects so i was looking for a natural path and I was already seeing one once a month to get vitamin B's and B12 to assist me with my energy. So in late March I spoke to her at one of the shot clinic that she was at and on June 4 I went to see her and have never looked back. I was in her office for what seem like a long time which it was 2 hours and she order blood work and a diet plan or on a journey to loss weight and be healthy for life. She is such a wonderful Dr / person she told me if I have any problems with what the food plan or if I become hungry to call her or to email her and she would get back to me, well we know Dr's tell us that but do they really do? She really does get back to all her emails that I have sent her in a timely matter. Then I saw her in late June and went over my blood work in detail she did not sugar coat it she just got down to the natty gritty of it. Then on June 19 she asked me to do 45 mins of exercise and I told her I would walked the mall and she gave me a funny look, I just figure she didn't understand what I had said to her. I walked the mall the first time this year on the 20 of June and it about killed me. Then on the 15 of Aug she asked me to start training for a marathon either a 5K in Oct/Nov and 10K in Feb of 2014. She was thinking about this on HER RUN and she spoke to me about this so that is what I'm doing, I am training for a 5K in Nov and 10K in Feb and a 4 mile run in June out of state with family and friends. So since June 8 when I took my weight on June 8 until now I'm down 33.8lbs. Walking the mall you can loss weight, so all of you that are laughing about mall walkers take another look at it, it does work if you walk as fast as you can, but start out slow then build your speed. I want to thank my children, my grandsons, my son in law and Katie and Carol at work for all there support. This would not have happen it I didn't stepped out there in faith and give Dr Christy Cline of Southwest Integrative Medicine a call. Thanks so very much Dr Cline I feel so much better, I just walked 32/3 mile today in 68 mins and it's my slow day to gain distance. I now walk a mile in about 11-12 a lap which is 2/3 of a mile not bad. Can't wait until June for my 4 mile run. All we need is to have the support of family and friends and a very caring Dr we all can get health if we really want to. The next step is to get my decline hormones up and running, not that I know what are normal amounts of hormones. Love this place. My children and I have been seeing Dr. Cline for the last three years. When none of the "well-trained" conventional MDs could properly diagnose and heal my daughter after three years of her being covered in bumps and not growing I paid a visit to Dr. Cline. Thank goodness NDs take 30% more science courses in their medical programs. I am assuming that explains the gross deficiency in the conventional medical profession. My husband went to this doctor today for a free consultation to help with quitting smoking. He does not like doctors normally but he loved his today. We first met Dr. Cline in 2008 when our then 9 year-old son became ill for which his pediatrician/specialists were wanting to treat by putting him on various medications we felt would be more harmful than good. Dr. C, through an aggressive ellimination diet discovered various food allergies. By discovering these allergies and the acupuncture treatments he received, and continues to receive, our son became and remains stronger and healthier. My husband developed severe back problems that included spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, arthritis, etc., that caused extreme pain and at one point he lost all feeling in one of his legs from the knee down. Our son said he should see Dr. C that he was certain she could help him. Seeing as we had a trip planned for Europe he was willing to try anything. After three treatments he regained the feeling in his leg. It should be mentioned that he also received three epidurals as recommended by his primary care physician during which time he did not receive acupuncture. They did not seem to provide any relief and after the third one he was actually in more pain. He went back to Dr. C prior to our trip to Europe and was able to go on our trip and actually walk great distances with little to no pain. He did have to have back surgery but would have not been able to enjoy our trip to Europe or even been able to tolerate the pain or walk had it not been for Dr. C.
