Apparently they…read morecompletely deleted my account and removed me from the practice without ever saying a word to me regarding it. When I tried to call it was said "a supervisor removed you and they are not here right now" So if you you disagree with their practices and challenge the items that never took place, you are ghosted. You might ask.... was I rude? No, we never even had a conversation over the phone. Did you do something to them? Yes I challenged charges for items that never took place in the appointment. I never even received a Dr's report from that appointment. I'm guessing because the Dr didn't want to put in writing what never took place. Do yourself a favor and avoid this scam of a place at all costs!

It's not about the money, but the principal of changing the codes for his exam just to collect more money. I've had dozens of annual check-ups where you speak with your doctor on a variety of topics, not all related to the annual check-up. Not once was I ever charged a fee for the appointment. Horrible customer service. No wonder this guy has a 2.6 star review. My Son will be seeking a new Doctor.

When I remember to make my annual checkup with enough notice, I meet with Dr. Katz. Otherwise, I have met with several of his nurse practitioners. I have been pleased with my interactions with Dr. Katz and the nurse practitioners, who I feel all listen to me, provide updates in a thoughtful manner, and follow-up afterwards with any referrals or prescriptions. There is an automated system that can connect people with the front desk, voicemail system, or provide other system as need be. When you're speaking with the front desk, they are quite helpful whether they answer questions or help schedule or reschedule an appointment. Any paperwork is submitted and charges are made in advance or following the appointment so that you do not need to worry about either while you're checking in for your appointment. Any bloodwork is done in the office instead of going to a separate location (as they used to do a few years back). Needless to say, it's very convenient to work with the Paradise Valley Family Medicine office. As for Dr. Katz and the nurse practitioners, they have gone out of their way to make calls, do research, and follow-up with me between appointments to ensure that I am taken care of whether it is a sleep study, having a prescription be honored, or even having a prescription successfully make it to the nearby pharmacy. They use a portal, which is easy for sharing test results, visit summaries, or sending messages back and forth. Get offer primary care, well child exams, well woman examinations, annual physicals, sports and camp physicals, adult and pediatric immunizations, preventative health care, and pre-operative clearance. To see Dr. Katz or another doctor, make an appointment about a month in advance. You can see a nurse practitioner about two weeks in advance, and they are wonderful! I have enjoyed working with Brooke and Allison in the past. They are typically open Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 5 PM and on Friday from 8 AM to 12 noon. Holiday hours differ a bit. All in all, I'm glad to go to the Paradise Valley Family Medicine and recommend them to anyone needing a primary care physician.

I was recently diagnosed with Type2 Diabetes by my previous primary care physician. Ran into some…read morereal issues with the meds and had to call Teledoc for assistance and direction. They assessed the information I provided and recommended I check out urgent care at Regent and that they could get me in within the hour. I headed over to the urgent care, they took my information and got started with the review of my vitals etc. They noted that I was very dehydrated and sugar was very high. I was given 4 bags of fluids and a shot for my queasiness. Wendy and Michelle were so AWESOME!! They treated me like I was their only patient. They were genuinely concerned. Very personable, informative and knowledgeable. They were concerned as to why my previous physician had prescribed a total of 3 medications which caused more issues than solving. Needless to say, at that point I asked if I could switch to their office for my Primary Care. Once all was completed with me, they got me the form to complete to change my primary to them. I'm all about recognition where it's due. It is definitely due here. They are the real thing. Their office is very unassuming at the end of a strip mall but the service is top notch!! When we have cancelled appts they say we no showed and charge us a no show fee of 75.00 . I'm on to Dr white and her shadiness . Dr White is only after office visit payments. During Covid she scheduled Tele med appts with my husband every 2 weeks that lasted 2 mins and all she asked was , How are you,and ok I want to see you again in 2 weeks. I caught on to her after seeing the insurance bills and over 10 TeleMed appts paid for during that time. She makes you do lab work so that she can justify a follow up appts . We are told she needs to see us even though our care is being handled by another Dr.(Specialist ) She refuses to refill prescriptions unless you go in and see her even though you recently saw her. Dr White basically does nothing to manage your care. My husband and I are immediately leaving her practice. If you're thinking about becoming a patient of Dr White's think again. Look at her other reviews. No reason to go through what we've been through. There are plenty of ethical & good doctors to choose from.
