Overall a very uncomfortable and unprofessional experience. We got the adjustment done in the end but my fiancé had a strangers foot in his face for over half of the appointment, we weren't allowed to see his own X-rays, we did NOT get a consultation as the doctor refused to give any info on source of pain unless we came back for a second appt, and we learned too much about the patients around us. The office staff is friendly and it seems like it's kept clean, but after being there for an hour and a half it's clear that they're just in it for the money. Would not recommend this place. Purchased a $40 groupon for my fiancé to get him a chiropractic exam, consultation, x-rays, spinal adjustment, and active release technique soft-tissue treatment. He had an appointment at 2:30 so we showed at 2:15 to have time for paperwork. It was like the floodgates had opened, several people showed up at once and people were being seen before him. The people I sat next to while waiting were being asked personal questions in front of everyone. It was uncomfortable and it's like confidentiality isn't really valued here. We were finally sent to a room at 2:50. The doctor asked him a couple questions about his pain, etc and then took him to take a couple of X-rays in the same room WITH other patients. Again, uncomfortable that everyone has to see and hear another strangers business. After that, he was sent to lay down essentially in the front lobby to start the soft tissue treatment. I could see him and others from my seat in the lobby. I understand it's a small office, but privacy really shouldn't be sacrificed so that you could get as many walk in's as possible. The place was so full that a stranger with foot pain was sat by my fiancé with her foot propped in a chair in front of his FACE to get tissue treatment. After about 30 mins, he was taken into a room with the doctor to get the adjustment done. Doc started explaining what's wrong with my fiancé's neck but then refused to give any info on what was actually wrong and what could be done UNLESS we came back for a second appointment. We weren't able to see my fiancé's X-rays either. Not sure what goes on in this doc's mind, if he's oblivious to his own office or if he just chooses not to care but the way this practice does things is not something I would choose to go back to and spend another $40 just to get a foot in my face. Got the 1 minute long adjustment done, asked the doctor again if he could enlighten us at all on what's wrong with his neck but again he wouldn't tell us anything unless we came back. Mind you we weren't rude at all and neither were they. It's just how they do business.

I started in my mid 30's with ongoing back issues, and over the years, they've helped me stay active and functioning despite severe disc degeneration, bulging discs, scoliosis, and arthritis. I was even told by an orthopedic surgeon years ago that I likely wouldn't be walking past age 35, which makes the care I've received here even more meaningful. They've also cared for my kids through years of intense sports like gymnastics, figure skating, and hockey all the way through college. Having someone you trust with both your own health and your kids' says everything. But that review deserves one of its own. For now, Dr Chris' care with my 3 kiddos has been incredible. What keeps me coming back after all these years is the genuine care and compassion. I've always felt listened to and supported, and everything is explained in a way that actually makes sense. The staff is just as kind and welcoming, which makes every visit a positive experience. I recommend them to friends all the time without hesitation. That alone probably says more than anything else I could write.

The first thing I noticed was that I could schedule an appointment on the business website but I do want to caution others that the doctor still takes patients on a first come first serve basis. I would still recommend that you schedule an appointment online because I had a situation where I wanted to have an adjustment just prior to a vacation and so I scheduled an appointment to the day before I was leaving for my vacation and the evening before I received a text message directly from the Chiropractor, Dr. Troy, that something came up and he would not be able to open his clinic the day of my appointment. I explained I was very disappointed because my hip was out and I was going to be going out of town on vacation but I would try to get in to see another chiropractor by my home. He expressed concern and even reached out to me the next morning via text to make sure that I could get an appointment with another chiropractor. Now for the capabilities of Dr Troy. I have been to quite a few different chiropractors and I have to say he has to be the best chiropractor I have ever been to. He listens to symptoms and what your experience with chiropractors have been in the past and uses that in his adjustments with you. I am grateful for the cost of his services and the location. Give him a try!

Last few times the good docs weren't working or no longer work there. Today, a Saturday, I checked in at the front desk and was told to sit in the back and wait for my turn. This is normal. After watching every other patient that was there before me get adjusted, the doc then moved to patients that arrived after me. I thought i might be mistaken until I heard the one doc working notice a patient that arrived after me was not at the top of the list as the next patient. So he adjusted her instead of whoever was next on the computer. He then took new patients that I watched arrive after me, fill out paperwork and wait for about 10 minutes before getting adjusted. It's my fault I then waited to see if he'd pick me after them. He instead took another patient who walked in after the new patients. At this point, I walked to the front desk to ask if I was on the list anymore to which she looked at me confused and explained they were there before me and I need to wait my turn. I quietly and calmly explained that I been here for over 45 minutes, to which she said I was next. I asked if my name was on the board/computer, so she asked me my first name. But sheconfirmed with the wrong last name. I said, no, and gave my last name to which she looked at her computer confused. Then looked at me, no apology, no explanation and said, "have a seat and you'll be next". Sucks to be told you're wrong as a customer (she told me others were in front of me that weren't) and when they realize they made a mistake, not the customer, to be told to sit and wait with no apology or acknowledgment of their mistake. The doc overheard me at the desk and peaked around the corner to apologize and said I'd be next. Nice guy. Front desk person, incompetent and could use basic customer service training. I declined as I was very irritated and well out of time and asked to cancel my membership instead as it's not worth it. That's a whole story in itself that I won't bore you with. My opinion, go to a chiropractor that treats you like a person, not a number. Again, nice docs, they just work for a crappy company. Why are you still reading this? I'm ranting. Go enjoy your life. Regardless, I have been very pleased with how I have felt better after each appointment. The staff are friendly and welcoming, whether it is the front desk staff or the chiropractors themselves, it is always fun talking to them. Everyone makes you feel right at home, and I can tell how passionate the chiropractors are about their work. They are masters of their craft, and the results show every time I stop by. I also appreciate the gym located in their building, which you can use while waiting for your appointment. If anyone is looking for a chiropractor who knows what he or she is doing, Axis Spine and Sport is the place to go.
