I came here for a fun evening with my family and that's what we got! Our waiter was hilarious and very helpful with guiding us through the menu. We got a wide assortment of things, but my favorite was the Cavatelli Nero. It had a nice kick to it. I finished the meal with an excellent affogato!
We went to The Jimmy around 6:00 on a Friday and had no trouble getting in, but the parking lot is small and often crowded. It's a cute, but casual spot. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. They checked in on us often. We split a pizza and a salad and that was enough for two people. The Jimmy Chopped Salad was especially good.
I have not stopped thinking about this restaurant since I went!! It is quietly tucked away and the parking lot is very small so I recommend taking rideshare if you can. But the food! The food is amazing. My friend and I split the meatballs to start and they did not disappoint! Then I decided to try the crab pasta. It was delicious but a very small portion which was a little sad. My friend had the lamb which I tried a bite of and it was very very good! I'll be getting that next time. I love the open kitchen concept. They also have a great patio! The staff were patient when I couldn't decide on what to eat and when we didn't realize they closed. They even offered dessert still and let me tell you.... I have been thinking about it since I had it. Best Tiramisu I ever had in my life and I don't like most tiramisu's! It's definitely worth checking this place out!
First time trying The Jimmy's, my husband and I were excited and decided to grab a spot on the patio with our dog, Flanders. We were greeted by a server who gave us water and then explained she wouldn't be our server but the bartender would be. I think we must have come at a point during staff transition because I feel like the bartender shouldn't be a server too. Anyways, took awhile to be greeted by him and for him to take our order (he had 3 other tables to greet and take orders from). While we were waiting the manager brought out a water bowl for our dog, really nice touch! My husband and I wanted to try a few different items so decided to share. We started with the Salisccia Pizza ($23) which has House-made Fennel Sausage, red onion, and Ricotta cheese. The pizza had a great, crunchy crust and really good cheese. We did order a side of hot honey (which was a nice pairing) but when we got our bill we saw it was $4, which felt a bit steep. It would've been nice if our server (the bartender) had mentioned the upcharge before tacking it onto the bill. The other dish we ordered was the Linguini pasta ($20) with 6 pieces of shrimp, n'duja, yellow tomato, chili and mint. The pasta was solid but small for the price. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, the sauce had a bit of a spicy kick, and the yellow tomatoes added a nice pop of flavor. The mint was a bit of a no-show, but it didn't take away from the overall dish. The atmosphere at The Jimmy's was laid-back, with a decent crowd enjoying wine and cocktails outside, which made for a pleasant, relaxed vibe. Overall, I'd say it's a good spot to chill with friends or bring your dog, but a few small details kept it from being a standout experience for us. We'd probably come back, but with tempered expectations.
Service was fantastic. Food is good...... had a PLT sandwich and my colleague had the chicken parm which was better than the sandwich. Also, I've had the meatballs on the dinner menu and was surprised at how delicious!

There is also a great patio space. One issue with The Jimmy is the limited parking lot, but you can also try to find street parking. The service was good and as fast as expected on a Friday night. I thought the food was delicious! We split a pizza for an appetizer which was great and I loved the cacio e pepe! I look forward to returning to The Jimmy!

There's a parking lot behind the building, but it was full when we arrived, so we found street parking in the neighborhood. Now let's talk food! The cavatelli nero had a generous portion of blue crab, along with corn. These were tossed with black pasta - which I honestly would have appreciated more of to make this a heftier portion. Slightly spicy and flavorful with great texture. One of the specials for the night were mussels in a saffron broth. Although not the best mussels dish I've had in the area, the charred bread really complemented this dish well. Meatballs app was tasty and classic with flavorful, meaty balls in red sauce. We ended with tiramisu, which seemed a bit small for the price tag ($14). I really enjoyed the ratio of coffee-soaked cake to mascarpone. Just wish there was more to enjoy!
Great experience! We popped in on a stormy Friday night and sat at the bar. We ordered drinks and food from the bartender. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and seemed to enjoy his time working with his coworkers - they all seem to like each other! We ordered the rigatoni and cavatelli nero. Both were delicious and fully eaten. Since we were still hungry, we also split a Quattro Formaggi pizza. Very much enjoyed all our food - no crumbs! The bar was nice, and the rest of the restaurant was buzzing, nicely decorated and lively. They have a musicians play on Wednesdays I believe and a patio too for nice days. Parking lot for easy access right off of the main road. Happy with our experience and would pop in again.

The Jimmy ended up being such a great spot for a night out with friends. I've only been once so far, but it made a strong first impression. We went in planning to share a bunch of dishes and try a little bit of everything, and that was definitely the move. Between the pastas and pizzas, everything we ordered was super tasty and satisfying. Huuuge fan of their pastas. The vibe is perfect for what we were there for. It felt easy to sit, relax, and catch up without feeling rushed, and also a great date spot with the ambiance and liveliness. The only downside was parking, which can be a bit tricky depending on when you go. That said, we had two guys working the shared lot with nearby businesses who were helping keep an eye out for spots, which definitely made it easier. Overall, I'd absolutely come back, especially to try more of the menu. It's one of those places that works really well for both casual dinners and something a little more intentional. read more

The Jimmy had been on our list of places to check out for a while and I'm glad we finally went! We got the meatballs, mussels, and the cavatelli, all of which were good. The meatballs were tender, the mussels came with a grilled bread that went perfectly with the broth, and the cavatelli came with a good amount of blue crab, plus the sweet corn with the pasta was a nice combo. For dessert we got the tiramisu which was excellent. We will definitely be back! read more
Three of us made reservations this morning for brunch and we loved the Jimmy! We sat inside and it was such a cute spot for a gals brunch because of the decor and lighting. Two of us ordered beverages, the brunch flight was displayed nicely and tasted delicious as well as the Santorini sangria. Although the beignets were tempting, we did not order any appetizers. Instead, we all ordered brunch entrees. I had the avocado tartine and the other two had the prosciutto panini. All were played so nicely and made with super fresh ingredients. I recently had a date night at the Jimmy and while I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this beautiful restaurant the pizza I had was a little disappointing. I originally had planned on trying a pasta dish but I had been craving pizza and after seeing some pictures of what their pies looked like I was sold. I opted to get the four cheese pizza because it came with honey drizzled which is incredible on pizza despite not being seen often. The biggest problem I had was that the bottom of the pizza was a little soft and seemed undercooked. I was really hoping for an overall crispier crust and instead it was a little floppy which left me underwhelmed. I am not going to write this place off completely. I saw a lot of great looking dishes coming out of the kitchen and the service was excellent. Unfortunately my first try didn't nail it like I thought it would. read more

Restaurant is very pretty inside and the staff is friendly. The food was brought out right away nice and hot but we felt veryyy rushed by the waiter eager to turn the table as fast as possible. We just got an appetizer and was asked 3 times for our dinner order and half way through our entrees and asked about dessert and delivered the bill. Wasn't the best ambiance. The rigatoni was really good and the carbonara was good but not great. It didn't have a ton of flavor. It was quite pricey for the portions size and overall lack of ambience read more

I had a great night out at the Jimmy with my family! First off, it was super easy to make a reservation on open table so highly recommend doing that. The ambiance was gorgeous, but very bright, even at nighttime. The space is fairly big, we saw a table of 12 next to us so can definitely fit large groups as well. The menu isn't big which I wish there was a few more options, however, my family all got different pasta dishes and each one was so delicious! But first, make sure you start with the burrata- oh my goodness this was definitely a table favorite! Our server recommended 3 pf his favorite dishes and he was right! So tasty. We all took our food to go because the portions were pretty big- made for a perfect lunch the next day! Overall, I enjoyed this place a lot and will definitely be back! read more
Super cute space next to Reid's Fine Foods. I didn't expect to be so impressed by the decor, but I was! It's definitely a date night or girls dinner vibe! We didn't have a reservation so we sat at the bar. We ordered a bottle of wine (they only have French and Italian wines btw), the burrata appetizer, a margherita pizza, and the pappardelle with brisket ragu. I wish the crusty bread they serve with the burrata was sliced thinner so it's easier to eat. I was worried I would cut the roof of my mouth or break a tooth if I bit into it. The combination of burrata and pesto was nice. The margherita pizza was just ok, probably won't order again. The pappardelle with brisket ragu was the standout dish! I definitely recommend ordering this!! I enjoyed the neighborhood upscale vibe at The Jimmy. It was also cool that there were parking lot guys who point you to a parking space when you arrive! read more
Y'all. Need to go here and experience the awesomeness. I don't take the 5 star lightly, but my experience was superb! The space is light, bright and airy with a great bar and patio and open kitchen. Our server Phillip was amazing. He shared about every dish, the ingredients and how it was prepared. I appreciated his attention to detail, and clearly the training that goes into the staff! Dishes are meant to be shared and it is portioned to do so easily and come out as prepared. Favorites: Salsiccia pizza -- a step above the basic pizza and tastes delicious and fresh. Eat the crust no matter what. Lune pasta -- sweet enough to be a dessert, and this is from someone who loves desserts. The servers bring fresh plates and flatware for each new course and water is available on the table. Lemon ricotta cake is gluten free and is a great summer treat. Tastes like a fancy pound cake. Chocolate olive oil torte is not your typical torte/dense dessert, but looks like a pie and has a great berry compote. Yum! Can't wait to come back and try more! read more
Mmm, yeah! After just one visit, this place is now in the rotation. Well done, team. The burrata and octopus to start was a delight, and then we split the Jimmy pizza and the pappardelle was perfect. That was just about too much food, but it was nice to be able to take 1/2 the pie home. Great flavors, outstanding service. It's not quiet in there, so come prepared for a lively situation. The Jimmy could use a much better set of non-alcoholic offers, if they're looking to go up a notch. read more

The place was mostly empty only one other couple besides us in the entire restaurant which kind of was disappointing - to me the more people are in the restaurant usually has a lot to say for how "good" it is. It was a Sunday we got the Apertivo Menu. For the burrata I would definitely recommend as this was the most delicious. The pizza was very moist due to the cheese as it was just dripping - although it was very good dough. The linguini was overwhelmed with mint flavor and wasn't the best as the pasta seemed overcooked. We paid $70 for one app and two entrees. we probably will not be back as it lacked in flavor and the menu lacked options for the price point. read more

I took my family here for lunch who were visiting for the weekend as I heard good things about the restaurant and wanted to give it a try. We went on a Saturday afternoon, and although it was busy we were able to be seated quickly. I really liked the design of the restaurant with the kitchen being an open layout with a glassed-in view. We were able to see our food as it was being made. I ordered one of their pastas. I forget the name of it, but it was well seasoned and pretty good. I would definitely order it again. Mixed feelings about this spot. Server was knowledgeable about the menu and kind, but was not attentive...bartending and long periods of her not checking in. Some of the dishes were great, some had no flavor. The space is cute, but doesn't feel as luxury as the menu prices. read more
