A painful update after a poor grandma pizza left a bad taste in my mouth. The sauce on top was extremely watery and slid right off the pie leaving an okay cheese pie underneath. Disappointed that the quality of the regular pie doesn't extend to other specialty pies.

I was recommended this place by a friends and it wasn't bad. I went in with a few friends and the inside was nice. The service, specifically the bus boy Evan, was very good and the food wasn't bad but I honestly didn't really like the cheesy steak. They have a lot of options on the menu though so I plan to go back and try a pasta which looks a lot better.

Stopped in here with the kiddos to grab lunch before going to Discovery Place. The pizza by the slice options were plentiful, and the little one wanted plain spaghetti with marinara which she raved about. Service was friendly though you just order at the counter and wait for table delivery. Ambiance was very chill and relaxed.

I have gone here a few times for the different flavors of pizza and I've never been disappointed. Their ingredients and so fresh and delicious. The inside of the restaurant is always packed but their service is always good. The restaurant is very clean and smells great!

This place is no frills, order at the corner and they bring your food to your table. They have a wide selections of pizza available by the slice as well as pastas, etc you can order. I ordered spaghetti bolognese and garlic knots. I found the bolognese sauce to be a little heavy on the wine. The garlic knots, however, we're spectacular. I would highly recommend getting them. Staff were fairly friendly. The seating area is fairly small but it was adequate for the amount of people dining in when I was there.

Had a chance to visit this new restaurant and it looks like it will be a staple. This popular restaurant has a grab and go concept, which is different from their other locations. However, even though you place your order at the counter and seat yourself, they bring the food to you and even clear the table when you are finished. So it's not a full service restaurant, but they do more than most fast dining establishments. I decided to venture from my normal vodka sauce selection and ordered Alla Panna with shrimp. It was good, but maybe a little too salty? The shrimp were huge and the sauce was creamy. I had a little regret for not ordering the vodka sauce but probably because I can be a creature of habit. We had garlic knots which were amazing! They were seasoned perfectly, with plenty of garlic and butter and fresh out of the oven. A dozen was plenty and the sauce was tasty too. I think this is the perfect addition to uptown and I can't wait to return.

What a great little place for this Philly native! Cute restaurant with casual dining room but takeout available too. Order at the counter, sit down with your number and your food is brought to you. I passed this on the street and was intrigued so came in for a cheesesteak. It was cooked perfectly (watch that first bite! Burned my mouth!), bread was fresh and the lettuce was crispy! The chips that come with are a nice touch but aren't anything special, plain potato chips. The pizza looks good so may be back to try before leaving town!

So good, it's SO GOOD! Super crispy crust, I'm a Detroit style pizza guy myself but it's making me rethink my choices... seriously... game changer.

The absolute best NY style pizza I have eaten in the south. Nice thin crust, very flavorful slightly sweet sauce, with the right amount of cheese. Cooked to perfection.I definitely recommend checking this place out. I will be returning in the near future.

The sauce from the chicken parm was distasteful, very bland. It smells like chef boyardee ravioli sauce, No flavor whatsoever. The pasta was cooked to perfection. The garlic bread also lacked flavor. It could have been toasted a bit longer as well if it was toasted at all

Solid pizza, not too expensive given 2025 prices. No ranch needed, and the crust was both soft and crunchy! Not huge NY slices, but bigger than fast food pizza slices. About $5.50 each.

Very clearly the best late night pizza option in Charlotte. May just be the absolute best pizza…read moreoption period. We stopped in here for a weeknight late bite when our options were somewhat limited. Thankfully at that hour, street parking in NoDa wasn't too bad, we got a spot just off the main drag. Slices here are GIGANTIC, one is easily about 3 standard slices of pizza, or two normal NY size slices. We got a pepperoni and a cheese. The pepperoni had nice kick to them and the cheese was a high quality. You had to let the pepperoni grease drain onto your plate a bit, but that is expected. The thing that makes both slices so good is the garlic butter bath all around the crust that you can see them doing in the kitchen. Not just that, but the texture in the crust will make even non-crust lovers think again. You're basically left with big doughy garlic butter breadsticks. Definitely a 5 on taste. My only complaint, and I'm sure it is partly by design to keep people from staying long, the stools you can sit on to enjoy your pizza inside the restaurant are THE WORST I have ever placed my derrier on. Even for 15 minutes, it wasn't just uncomfortable, it was painful. It took me a couple blocks to start walking correctly again. Might as well just get rid of them and have people stand to eat. Terrible. Almost knocked a star off for it, that bad. Regardless of the world's worst stools, I would come back for more pizza and just plan on not eating it there.

To top it off don't even think about leaving before you have one of their brown butter chocolate chip cookies! They are ridiculous and a must. The reason we came in to order to-go was because we weren't happy with the Door-Dash delivery of same last time. The pizza just didn't travel well. This time with our to-go order it traveled a bit better and was fresher. We think it would be even better (4 stars) if we dined in. We also had a nice salad of mixed greens with dried cherries and the like, but it didn't come tossed. The dried cherries were in one corner, the onions in another ... you get the idea. Tossing would have made it easier to eat on-the-go. But the service people were very nice, and the store was clean and roomy with a semi-open kitchen. We'd give this place another try next time when dining in.

Review for Pizza Baby…read more After a relaxing Vinyasa yoga class and sound bath at The Coterie Wellness one evening, I found myself hungry--and conveniently, Pizza Baby had just opened in the same complex. Perfect timing. Since it was still new, the restaurant wasn't very busy, and I decided to grab a table outside. The outdoor seating was lovely--relaxed, comfortable, and a great way to unwind after a wellness session. I'm a sucker for thin-crust pizza, especially when it's hand-tossed and thoughtfully prepared, so one item immediately caught my eye: the rosemary pizza with hot honey. Sold. I added Italian sausage to the pizza and paired it with a fresh green salad (I can never resist a good Green Goddess dressing). Yes, it was a little on the pricey side, but the quality matched the cost--and I was genuinely pleased with my choices. The crust was thin and flavorful, the toppings were balanced, and the hot honey added just the right touch of sweetness and heat. This is definitely a place I'd return to--next time with friends--so we can share a few different pizzas and appetizers and really explore the menu. A few practical notes: * Parking is generally easy since the restaurant shares a lot with neighboring businesses in the complex * There are several nearby spots, including a wine bar and entertainment venues, which make the area feel lively * There was some early parking congestion when a nearby church held services, but the situation has since been addressed with signage and coordinated parking solutions It's nice to see businesses and community partners working together to make things run smoothly. There's also another location of Pizza Baby that I plan to visit, which speaks to how positive my first experience was. Bottom line: Great thin-crust pizza, pleasant outdoor seating, and a convenient stop after yoga or an evening out. A solid addition to Charlotte's growing food scene--and absolutely worth checking out. And if you're already in the area for a class or wellness session, it makes for the perfect post-workout reward.

Also, many of the appetizers are cheese-type dishes, which feels like a bit much if you're already there for pizza. Why PB puts SO much sauce on their pies, I don't know. They could save a few dollars by cutting the amount in half. Maybe their other pies are not as soggy, and the fact that margherita pies have a more watery cheese is a factor. Still, we nearly had to eat it like soup. The service was fine--could've been a little more attentive. But there are a dozen other pizzerias in Charlotte that are much better.
