Shady, deceitful, scummy. Everything seemed really good, which probably should have been my first indication that it was too goo to be true. Added 6000 dollars of optionals that were NOT discussed beforehand and wasn't disclosed while signing papers. When I started taking a harder look at one of the papers the intern that I was working with said it was just part of the car agreement and to just sign it. That was my mistake. I called to have these things canceled and refunded and they tell me that the two most expensive optionals equalling $4,000 can't be refunded. You vote with your money, dont give them any. I made an appointment with Jay McConnell for 10:30 AM on Tuesday, 02/18 and drove over a 3 hour roundtrip only to find out that they were closed. I waited for 40 minutes for someone to show up and made several calls and texts that went unanswered. Very poor business and staff. When I got home and looked at their inventory, I was surprised that the vehicle I went to see was already sold. I will not ever do business with this company. Very inconsiderate. What a joke this place is. I went there in hopes of purchasing a Toyota Matrix, and what a failed mission that was! I was initially told over the phone by Milton that the car had 200,000 miles on it. When I got there, and saw the odometer, it said 279,000!! How do you confuse the two numbers?? And if he was rounding to the nearest 100,000, that's a weird way of rounding down, because I'm sure that the 7 should make you round up to 300,000!! I was also told over the phone, before I wasted my trip out there, that Mr Milton was not going to be in for the day. When I got there, somehow he was taking someone out for a test drive. That was strange to me. They tried to sell me some 1998 Corolla of which I had no interest in buying. I tried to avoid the negative reviews because everyone's opinion is subject to experience. They talk a big talk but do not want to knock down prices on any of their cars even though they should considering that some have things wrong with them!!! 1 good thing was the first time my car broke down on me (2 days after buying it!!!) in Milton covered the repairs made to the car, in which they should I mean really 2 days later!!!!! My Fiancée and I went here to buy a new car for her because they came highly recommended. She found a car with over 160,000 miles that was between $8,000 and $9,000, which seemed a little pricey, but they said their mechanic went through it and fixed all the issues. We ended financing through them, which ended up coming to a 24.99% APR (we didn't really understand APRs at the time, and now know that was WAY to high). We took it over to her Dad's to show him, and he ended up seeing some oil leaking. We called back to advise them of the problem, and they told us to bring it in and their mechanic would fix it. We get the car back and decide to take it to our mechanic just to make sure everything was in good order. They call us back saying there was $2,000 to $3,000 worth of repairs that needed to be done, and that it didn't appear that they even fixed the problem we advised them about. I called the company back and told them, and all they said was it wasn't covered by the warranty, and that the only thing we could do is pay a $500 restocking fee. We took it back, paid the restocking fee, and learned our lesson. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! They promise vehicles that are in good running order, when obviously they're not. The prices are extremely high, and the finance that they offer is extremely high as well. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because they had great customer service throughout the whole interaction, and they let us turn it in with the restocking fee when they didn't have to. read more

Ok, so I've known Jay and Francisco for years. My husband got all his hatchys from Jay and I got 2 cars from Jay myself. What you see is what you get with this dealer. Jay don't clean the cars for you, don't make them pretty with a bow. He's straight on his prices and any issues with the cars. Some have high miles, some need new batteries some may even need tires. But both the cars I've gotten from him ran well until "I" gave up on them. The finance company is great, they work with low income and with credit issues. All in all Jay has never turned us away and has always helped me and my family out. I referred my brother to them and still refer anyone trying to find a decent cheap car to get you going. I got my 98' Honda Accord off Jay, and it lasted me till I went back and traded it in for a better gas saver. Got good money for it too, for a blue Honda Civic coupe off him AND I still have It. Paid it off within 3 years too. Great running little car!! All in all my experiences have been great here. I've only dealt with Jay though. I dont got through anyone else (no offense) I'll be back soon Jay!! read more

I bought my car from here & as soon as I drive off the lot I tried to roll the back Windows dwn neither would go dwn, I call & talk to the energy & the sales person they said oh well u should've tried it before you signed!!! Ok you got me!!! But I was still mad & not referring anyone or ever going back!!! My mom said don't be so mean & tried them again & bought my daughter car from them. It has been in the shop more then she has been able to drive it!!! First the hybrid battery went out fixed that which was super expensive then a week later the transmission!!! Aweful experience. I have documents to prove they sold me a vehicle with a bad catalatic converter. It won't pass smog. They wont take the car back and trade for another one off their lot. I've reported them to DMV and the BBB but be advised, they are not the car dealership you want to go to. You'll think your getting a great deal, but then your car will break down. Mine did the very next morning. They would only take it back if I paid 350.00. Bad business ethic all the way around! And as far as financing... don't get me started. a big fat 0!! this place is a rip off. They took my boyfriend's money and came too his work and took back the car. He was having over heating problems. Took it too a mechanic and it had a blown head gasket. So far out of the $3,000 he paid for it, they haven't refunded him with a penny. He bought the car and it had a blown head gasket. be sure you always get a car fax report on any vehicle. this car had 57 problems and there was water in the oil. What a joke!! I was car shopping for a Honda recently and stopped here since they have a lot of Honda's. Was only one guy on the whole lot and he said that's how it always is. He Lets you wander the lot and if you have any questions just ask. Saw a car I liked and we talked about it for a while then I asked if I could have my mechanic inspect at the car. This guy actually looked me right in the eye and said, sure bring who ever you want to inspect the car! I politely smiled and told him my mechanic needs to put the car on his lift to properly inspect it. He tells me they don't allow that "anymore" and gives me some bull crap story about 2 customers on test drives crashing into each other. I asked what that has to do with having someone inspect the car. He starts telling me about how the owner doesn't want the insurance risk since that accident, and how the owner had to pay for it himself so his insurance rates wouldn't go up. BUT what does that have to do with having my mechanic look at the car? I told him to run my credit and verify who I am. Since I drove up in a rental car which has my name on the paperwork, once you verify who I am, you can bet you'll get your car back, since I'm responsible for the rental car too.. I even offered to call my State farm agent on speakerphone just to verify that any car I'm legally driving is covered by my insurance. Finally he said sorry we just don't allow that anymore, but he says it with attitude. Right after that he tells me I can pay extra to have 2 days to return the car and then have my mechanic look at it during that time. I can't remember if it was $250 or $300 but either way that's just ridicules. Basically they don't want any qualified independent inspections of their cars prior to sale. I couldn't get off the lot fast enough. I wound up buying a car at a different lot which had no problem letting me drive it to my mechanic for a complete once over. read more

This place is garbage. Bought a car not even 3 months ago 1 week after purchasing the car the engine wouldnt start. I took the car to THERE mechanic and he informed me that the engine was toast. They paid for the engine to be replaced due to the fact i had a 1 month warranty on it (who know i would need it within the FIRST WEEK) but failed to pay for the motor mounts that the mechanic also found wrong with the car. After 2 weeks in the shop i drove the car home. 3 days later the check engine light came on and had to take in the car for ANOTHER week. Finally was able to drive the car for longer than a week only to have an overheated car a month later. I finally caved in only 2 and a half months and eventually took the car back because i couldnt afford the constant towing and delays anymore. I looked for maybe another car to purchase and the other cars had cosmetic damage, banged up inside and out on the lot like that who knows what was mechanically wrong with them. After losing $2400 on this p.o.s. i asked THE OWNER if it would be alright if i got $1000 back since the car didnt even make it 3 months and hes response was basically hell no you snooze you lose. It appears that the guys just purchase cars from the auction, put a sticker price on the car and stick it on the lot, no attention paid to the cosmetics of mechanics of each car. Purchasing one of these cars is not a smart choice and could be dangerous in the long run. If you have a family i would NOT purchase a car from this place. However if you are young or looking for a project car this place is for you. You MIGHT find a gem in the once in a blue moon but not often. The only thing i can say was good about this place is the people who work there are pretty easy going good people.. Thats about it.. hope this helps!! read more
