I ordered a small M&M Cream and my husband ordered a small Catboat Crunch. Each were $7.50. There was a queue, but more staff came out to help and the queue moved. There are a few tables inside to enjoy the ice cream. The ice cream was very creamy. The M&M Cream had M&M pieces which I enjoyed.

The staff at both locations were very friendly and while it gets busy, they are very fast and efficient. They offer a rewards card so you can earn a free ice cream. Ambiance is like your classic ice cream shop and they have a great selection of flavors. The Oak Bluffs location is bigger, which allows for more inside seating.

Normally, that wouldn't be a big deal--except I had just watched several white customers on either side of me receive samples without any issue. They were treated kindly and allowed to sample flavors, while I was denied the exact same courtesy. As a Black customer, the stark difference in treatment was impossible for me to ignore. Based on what I personally witnessed, I felt singled out and treated differently because of my race. I don't make an accusation of racial bias lightly, but when customers immediately around me are being accommodated and I'm denied the same basic service, it's reasonable to question why. What makes this even more disturbing is that after my experience, I came across another review from a Black customer describing a remarkably similar experience at this same location involving samples and differential treatment. Seeing that after experiencing it myself was extremely concerning. Whatever the reason, customers should receive the same level of courtesy and service regardless of race. Absolutely unacceptable experience.

The cookies are thick but also soft, and I love that they don't crumble Even though there's ice cream in between. The ice cream is great but not too sweet. I highly recommend if you're gf and/or dairy free.There's no where to sit inside, so be prepared to walk around to find somewhere to sit and enjoy your treat.

Hope that employee is long gone and hopefully it was not the owner.
