Afterwards I hopped into Macys nearby to be inside the AC and could check the map for "cold drinks" near me. This spot popped up just around the corner. I give it a 4 stars. I drink a lot of coffee drinks from various coffee shops, and for comparison this wasn't amazing but good enough. It hit my requirements- nearby, COLD, slightly sweet, decent coffee flavor. The drink description says "vanilla cold foam" and this was not cold foam. I saw that it was steamed milk and turned to foam. Pretty much the opposite of cold foam. If they made their own cold foam this would have made the drink more unique. Could have been 5 stars if as described. Anyway, service was friendly and the small shop is cute. Gave me the hit of cold caffeine I was looking for.

I waited about 15-20 minutes for my drinks, and it was so worth it. I got the matcha latte with oat milk, sweetened by a little honey, and the Musa. I was pleasantly surprised by both -- but especially the Musa! I definitely need to come back and try that date cold foam on other drinks, because that was such a star. The matcha was also perfect, they have the right ratio and whisk the powder so well. I'm so excited to come back!

I love the Cardamom Buns at La Cabra in NYC. I've got to say that Moxie was just as good if not better!! So good that I had to take 2 more to go!! The Matcha shot was to my liking with a strong unsweetened flavor. So good!! I enjoyed the window seating. We sampled the food only once, on getaway day, enjoying a bacon and egg sandwich on a warm croissant, along with a cup of rich, dark coffee. Prices were high-ish but not unreasonable. The biggest plus is the ability to step outside and grab comfortable seating on the huge patio, sporting umbrella covered tables, multiple fire pits, and views across the expansive lawn. It was pretty easy to find. Place was pretty empty except for one other person who was studying. I was a bit disappointed to find out that they no longer had banh mi here. I used to see a bunch of reels about it when they first opened but guess that took that off the menu a while ago. I decided to try the Pandan Coffee and also ordered the Yuzu Matcha. Not sure why I chose that one when there was no milk in it. Didn't like the Yuzu Matcha. Maybe because I didn't fully mix it. I took a sip, put it in the fridge and forgot about it. The Pandan Coffee was okay compared to other places I've gad it at. Wish I had ordered the Coconut Coffee or Mango Sticky Rice Matcha instead.

Fantastic Atmosphere and Workspace in Midtown, but Mind the Peak Hours…read more My friend and I visited this cafe on a mid-week afternoon looking for a productive spot to get some remote work done, and it proved to be an excellent choice. Logistically, midtown traffic in this area is a well-known hurdle, but the dedicated parking lot located directly behind the building makes arriving by car much easier. Inside, the design and atmosphere are an absolute vibe. The mismatched furniture, abundance of indoor plants, and view of the green canopy outside provide a perfect, refreshing escape from the summer heat. The menu is varied and high-quality. I ordered a matcha latte, which was excellent and refreshing, while my friend opted for a lunch sandwich and a latte. For true coffee enthusiasts, they also sell specialty house-roasted coffee beans retail, including a Guatemalan Antigua and another select house blend. The lounge offers plenty of comfortable seating tailored for focus and productivity. While the pricing is slightly higher than your average coffee shop, the exceptional atmosphere and amenities justify the cost. One quick tip for remote workers: The environment shifts noticeably after 4:00 PM. The space can become quite loud with patrons taking phone calls or conducting 1-on-1 meetings at adjacent tables. If you plan to work through the late afternoon, I highly recommend bringing a pair of noise-canceling headphones to remain undisturbed.
