The process is fairly simple, you go in and pick your ceramic pieces to paint. Each ceramic piece has a different cost, and then there is a fee charged on top of that per painter. You get unlimited paints and tools to use, as well as unlimited time for painting. When you are done, you leave it with the front desk to fire up and pick up the finished result several days later. Would totally come here again for date night, girls night, or just a family activity. It is very group friendly. You can also come here solo if you've got some down time.

The setup was pretty great to accommodate our group size very easily. We got instructions about the steps to make our bowl and a demo, but I along with others definitely found it hard to keep up. We needed a lot of individual help. I wish there was an assistant who could walk around and help us too. The studio glazed and painted the bowls to a color we liked. They looked great! I only wish we were able to be more hands on in the process and perhaps make two items as the process is quite hard if you're new and it would have been fun to take another stab at it.

NO STUDIO FEES, so all you are paying is the price listed on the pottery itself. The store has a good amount of tables for parties of 2-4. And also 2 rooms dedicated for birthday or corporate parties. There's also 1 restroom onsite. As well as a separate sink outside the restroom to wash your hands when needed. They have a small selection of snacks and drinks for purchase, but still a nice option. It's a clean environment and the young staff are very friendly. Music is often playing in the background while you concentrate on your painting. My only recommendation for improvement is to provide a more sturdy plate or tray for the paint. Currently customers just squirt the paint on a card stock paper (similar to the size of a large index card) and are supposed to take that back to the table for painting pottery. It would feel much more secure and sturdy to carry with an actual tray or paper plate for the paint. I also felt like the paint was dripping off the edges of the paper since there was no lip and paint colors kept merging together since the paper index card wasn't laying flat. They also could have offered a few more paint color options. All in all, it was a great experience and so nice to have a crafty activity close to home. Pottery is usually ready for pick up within 1 week. Candles are ready to be taken home same-day.

Took two classes here and had very different experiences…read more The first class I went to was a resin workshop with Punky Power Productions and it was fun, engaging, and interactive. The instructor was very fun and really willing to help out and inspire. 5 stars. The second workshop i took, just this Sunday, was not great at all. It was a mosaic class and it might as well have been self led. The instructor gave us a brief 3-5 min tutorial on how to place the tiles and then did nothing else except sorted tiles the whole time. She never came around to see how we were doing or if we needed help. We had to keep asking her to come over if we had a question and she didn't really offer too much. She never told us what color we could use, and kept coming over and collecting the extra tiles as we were working. She didn't help us finish up and left before we were done. It was super disappointing.
