But OMG, the second I stepped off the elevator onto the rooftop, I was completely blown away. The decor was incredibly well done and the whole space was screaming Miami. We enjoyed several cocktails, and the bartender was so friendly and attentive. Despite having a full bar and a party of four that included three kids, he took such great care of us. And speaking of the kids... two of them had full-blown tantrums, and not a single person made us feel judged. In fact, our server brought over crayons and a coloring book and was SO sweet and accommodating. As a parent, that kind of hospitality goes a long way. We ended up taking most of the food home with us, but I did try the mussels. They weren't the best mussels I've ever had, although they had been sitting for a little while since we were busy tending to the kids, so I definitely wouldn't judge the dish based on my experience. And the views?! Absolutely stunning. From the rooftop, you can see both the bay and the ocean side, and it was beautiful in every direction. Between the atmosphere, the views, the drinks, and how incredibly welcoming they were to our chaotic little crew, I would come back here over and over again. Highly recommend!

We dined with friends who had some issues with their food, but to keep things fair, I'm scoring this strictly from my own experience. We arrived at 5pm and were able to take advantage of the happy hour menu. The food came out fast and had great flavor. The mussels were my favorite dish of the night. The white wine garlic butter gave them an amazing taste that left me wanting more, and they were only $11 for Happy Hour instead of the regular $15. We also ordered the crab dip for $11, normally priced at $15. I loved the dip itself, but the Old Bay toast wasn't my favorite. I enjoy Old Bay, but it didn't feel necessary here. The Baha Mahi‑Mahi was fresh, and my wife's Angus New York strip was cooked exactly how she likes it. Somehow I forgot to take a picture of her dish. I would personally come back, but my friends said they wouldn't, which is a bummer. With a score of 24 out of 25, I'm giving this restaurant an A.

The restaurant was mostly empty so this was a mostly locals happy hour crowd for sure. Regular customer next to me pronounced the seasoned bartender the greatest of all time. We ordered a couple of house margaritas ($6.50) which came in a pint glass and were plenty strong. Only needed one of those! First up, crab dip. It came in a massive vessel, bubbling hot and lots of bread. This dish was so large I ate the leftovers three times. Big chunks of crab in a standard rich base. I brought rice crackers, but husband liked this plain bread better than the oily garlic toast that accompanied the mussels. Mussels were a big pile, with toast, in a mild broth. Not spectacular but a solid presentation. And finally, the boiled shrimp with old bay. Burning our fingers in our eagerness to peel and eat these babies, we got our fill for $10. Their cocktail sauce had an excellent texture, better than just ketchup and horseradish like some bars. Anyway, nice job and very economical! Bartender seemed disappointed we didn't need refills on drinks, but tomorrow is another day! Thanks for the hospitality, Coins!

Husband ordered a burger with a nice fluffy toasted bun, pepperjack cheese and fries, included lettuce, tomato and pickles. Solid. Medium rare by request also perfect. What more could you want? Oh, a $6 orange crush if you wait till 3 when happy hour starts. Trust me if this place were near my Phoenix home I would be a regular patron. We arrived around 6 on a Saturday night and the place is busy (it always is). We are greeted in an ok time, it took longer than ever before (and we've been there when it's been busier). The young lady greeted us, took our order and left. We ordered boneless wings, fries, crab cakes, and soup. She came back about 5 mins later and said they sold out of crab cakes. I get it's the off season, but there really is no off season at Fast Eddies. So we ordered something significantly cheaper from the menu. When the food came out, it was just ok. My boneless wings were way overdone and the crab burger was just ok. When the check came, it seemed to be a little high, like she never adjusted the pricing from the crab cake dinner. We never received the itemized receipt and after she dropped the slip to sign, we didn't see her again. So we just signed the receipt and left, as we had plans to get to. I don't know if we'll be back to be completely honest.
