I thought it was an odd lol but I love to shop local businesses. So this was right up my alley on being able to support a local business. I was told of several places that were open with shorter hours for today. Dockside Seafood was my first stop and they had everything I needed.... BUT I didn't feel appreciated by them following me around the very small store like I was going to steal something. So I asked the guy (wearing a white meat market over coat) for a spice that I was looking for while standing right in front of it. He didn't have the answer. So that was some BS. Why are you standing 8ft away acting like you're looking for something when you aren't? I don't know if their local community hurts their business by stealing or not. But if that's the case then they should have cameras. They only have two very short aisles (similar to a gas station).

I've had the pleasure of having chef Sami and his family cook for a large group at my church and it was banging. Super delicious. There's no menu posted but there may be some random Middle Eastern dishes posted but I couldn't decipher it. Up front they even have kid sized shopping carts and it has a little flag on it that says "customer in training" or something like that. They super cute. I will definitely be back. Been dreaming of those shawarmas for a few weeks now!!

My wife and I have been buying from Barrington Butchery since (literally) day one of business, and we've been evangelists for the best porkchops on the planet sold at BB. I call 'em "magic porkchops" because they're moisture-injected, and it matters not one bit if you get bone-in or boneless, these pork chops are without rival. Some salt, some pepper (and for me, some Tony Chachere's Cajun seasoning), put 'em on the grill on low heat -- internal temp is 145º - 150º, put it on a plate, and then let it rest for a good 5 minutes. I've had tears a joy rolling down my cheeks from these pork chops. There've been times when one week's chops are better than the previous week's but they still always, always, always beat every other chop I've ever had from any other source, hands down. Don't get me wrong, I've had all sorts of other wonderful things from BB, including the seasonal Piedmontese, lovely Filet Mignon, Tomahawk, Flank, and their homemade sausage.
