Got my CRV into The Honda Way shop for the airbag recall. Vehicle was running rough so I asked service folks to review and advise me of what they found. They called and said I needed a valve adjustment and that the new plugs in engine were wrong and should be replaced with the correct ones. I told them to go ahead and do both. Car was returned on time and in good shape. I then took what I was told were the wrong spark plugs back to were I had them installed. After a review I was shown that the plugs in my car before going to The Honda Way were in fact NGK OEM spark plugs and in fact the right OEM part. So I went back to the Honda shop and then the BS started, no reports as computers were being upgraded, no service manager would speak to me and I refused to leave until I got some explanation. Finally a mechanic came out and showed me the same plug they installed and yes it was different than the ones installed. That said my spark plugs while NGK and designated OEM spark plugs were not Honda parts thus the wrong part. Even though the supplier site clearly shows that the NGK spark plugs I had and are OEM designated parts. The main problem appears to be that they do not say Honda. I guess I will have to leave it to Honda and NKG to fight it out as I got ZERO satisfaction from The Honda Way. I feel very played and taken advantage of and I am out several hundred dollars. Buyer beware. As for future business I have to ask a simple question. If someone thinks this is great service and a valued customer experience with this level of dissatisfaction over a few hundred dollars why would I risk 10's of thousands on a new vehicle from this place? read more

This is the second time I've come here to get warranty work done. The mechanical work was done correctly but the costumer service is brutal. I waited for there shuttle to come pick me. I was only 5 mins away at High street mall and they said they will be there to pick me up shortly which turned out to be 1.5hrs. That is ridiculous! So my experience started nice enough, the sales person was nice and the reviews looked good online so I decided to place trust in the Honda Way. My mistake lol! One of the things that this dealership advertises is a 159 point inspection so I thought that I would be safe. I ended up buying a used car for 54k. During the first week of owning it, I noticed that the front passenger window did not go up properly. I just bought the car so I called them to take a look because IMO they inspected it so window function is a basic function that should be checked. Now this is where the experience started to change. I bet a lot of their clients are regular people like me that put a lot of overtime hours to buy the car they want. I got no sympathy when I explained my situation. They should understand that buying a 54k car outright and finding something wrong with it would worry most normal people. Instead everyone I spoke to seemed more interested in telling me that I will have to pay 200 dollars for bringing my car in to be checked. I decided to get my car checked as I bought it at the dealership and they would know my history. After dropping my car off, I spoke to the general sales manager. He said that we would see how the repair played out. This gave me false hope that I should follow up with him afterwards. When I went to look for him, he was conveniently busy but was able to send another manager to tell me that their was nothing that they could do for me so I ended up getting burned for the fee. (I did see him in the showroom though and It seemed like he saw me) It's okay though because it help me realize that money is more important than customer relations to the Honda Way. Yes, I got burned but will be purchasing my daughters and family's vehicles from a another dealership. One that values repeat customers over their bottom line! USED CAR BUYERS BEWARE: 159 point inspection does not cover basic functions. Few other things that didn't make sense: Why is the documentation fee added into the price of the car and not an itemized charge on the sales receipt? Terrible customer service. Friend of mine had simple upkeep work done, when her car was returned a "SMALL DENT" was left from when the hood of the car flew up when they took it on a test drive!! Will most defiantly not be purchasing my next Honda here. read more

Lying to customer is "The Honda Way" They are flippant and unorganized. If you agree to a price they offer you, expect it to change Within the last 4 hours I had agreed to a price over the phone with Josh Leger, assistant sales manager, on a car I had seen the previous day. A couple of hours later I was left a message saying that they decided not to sell me the car at that price after we had agreed on it and that it would be cost me more than 2000$ above our initially agreed upon price. I was angry at the change and declined the offer. Within an hour I was left a message saying that the manager said I could have the car for 500$ above the initially agreed upon price, I called them back and agreed to the new higher price. They then told me that they had changed their mind again and would sell the car for more money yet again. Do not trust the sales persons or management at this location. Their word means nothing and they will rip you off. Their apology for the price increases and lies can be summed up as - we are sorry, we want more money. read more

Long story short, they are not interested in servicing your vehicle while under warranty. No Saturday warranty work and no loaner vehicles during the week. How will I get to work? I will have to go elsewhere as they suggested. Pretty disappointing for me after of course being told that we will look after you and your vehicle, always. Scheduled a test drive and drove all the way out there from Vancouver. They had a 2004 Mazda 3 on sale that I was really interested in! The salesman on the phone said that he would make it worth my while to come out there and shop instead of doing it locally. So I did. Got there and no one at the desk or anyone else knew why I was there or was the car even ready for me to drive, the salesman that I had dealt with on the phone was nowhere to be found. Finally after 20 minutes of waiting, they pulled this car up for me to test drive. The salesman sat in the backseat the whole time and didn't say a single word about the car, no benefits, no features, NOTHING!.. Thank god my partner was there to at least ask some questions. He sat in the back seat and gave me directions to tool around the freeway (which then he missed the proper exit for me to turn off- so pretty much drove all the way to langley) finally got back to the dealership and sat down,. He then tells me they couldn't sell me this car because they don't finance on anything less then 2006! What the EFF!.. Why wouldn't this little detail be told to me before?? Especially when I was asking him about finance! Oh wait but I could finance for 3 years and pay $350 a month! Forget that BS. 1 word JOKE! This guy didn't want to be there that day and definitely didn't want to sell me the car that I had my eyes on! Thanks Honda Way for wasting my time! read more
