Easily the best auto repair shop I have ever dealt with…read more When my truck went into the shop for maintenance, I was provided with a courtesy car and constant updates on my vehicle. My truck had a lot of issues as it is mainly driven on forestry roads. When I went in to pick it up Ryan, along with his two mechanics Dan and Greg, put my truck up on the hoist and showed me the exact work that they had done. They also took the time to explain why I was having these problems, and how they could be prevented in the future. They performed the work that was necessary, and gave me a list of work that will need to be performed in the future to keep my cost as low as possible. They genuinely made me feel like they were trying to help me instead of trying to make their shop money. I live in North Vancouver at the moment, moving to Squamish soon, but I will continue to bring my family's vehicles to Ryan and his team at L&S in the future. Thanks for all your hard work guys

None of the typical sexist machismo you get so often with male mechanics, which was refreshing. They charged reasonable rates and worked quickly. They fixed my AC, and although I was frustrated that it broke again in less than a week, this was a problem with the part, and not their fault. They replaced the defective part and fixed it again, charging me nothing at all, and it has been great so far. They also replaced my battery at a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend. The engine began to smoke, and the car started jerking. Additionally, I was informed that I had to pay $50 for the car inspection. The inspection was conducted unprofessionally. Important checks, such as measuring the oil level and diagnosing the check engine code, were not performed. A very critical issue causing the oil leak was not identified, but there were notes about minor issues instead. For example, I was advised to replace perfectly functional windshield wipers. In total, the repair estimate was $7,500. The prices were inflated. My car is old and, at best, worth half that amount.
