I rented a paint sprayer, it was obviously very used, when the electonic board failed they told me that with the one day rental it would be more than $600 to fix. It was there POS that died, but since I didn't pay for Insurance, it was my problem.... go to Taylor's rentals, they are good people and good equipment... We would have been able to finally complete our DIY that we have been working on for the last two months. So, we purchased our item online then went to picked it up this morning. However, the customer service representative by the name of "CHERYL" made us aware that we picked the wrong rocks then immediately said that she can charge us for those rocks before suggesting for one of her team members to just simply pull the rocks we did order online. After waiting for over 30 minutes, she said that they only have four bags of rocks that we ordered online then offered a refund. There were so many other options and ahead seemed as if she did not want to sell us the rocks that we accidentally pick even if we wanted to buy them because her attitude completely stunk. There was no empathy whatsoever. Now, we CANNOT finish because we have to wait a couple of days for the refund. Unreal. She could have offered to see if another location had them. She could have offered the four bags they did have and gave the other six just for waiting. It was just a terrible experience especially after all of the money we spent there. We would suggest another location or even Lowe's. Just not this location if this is who they have that can not make basic customer service decisions. I have bought all my appliances at this store since 2011. 2 refrigerators, 2 dishwashers, 2 sets of washers and dryers, grills, Blackstone, mowers, etc. My 8 year old washer died today so, naturally, I came to my neighborhood Home Depot to get a new set. Unfortunately, the store manager Crystal (sp?) refused to price match. It's okay. Lowes in Lake Worth was more than happy to sell me the appliances I was interested in, even cheaper, and I even added a dishwasher. I spent over $3k at your competitor because you refused to offer decent customer service. In the words of Julia Robert's in Pretty Woman, "Big mistake! Big! Huge!" Oh my gosh, where do I start? We bought a LG washer, dryer, pedestal washer, and pedestal on June 7,2025 at 3pm. Set for delivery on July 3. Before July 3rd, we got an Email stating that none of them would be delivered until September 18, due to a wait in the pedestal washer. We called LG and were informed they wouldn't do,a paritial delivery. So, we had to wait. In the meantime we had our dryer repaired, (reason we bought new). Then on July 31st I'm at home with 5 grandchildren under 6, and I get a voicemail that Home Depot is on the way with my delivery. I'm like what? I call the delivery driver and he tells me he is delivering my washer, dryer, and pedestal, but not the pedestal washer. I'm so confused. Then he has the warehouse calls me to tell me that was the last day they could be there. We had no prior notice. I felt like the warehouse threw them on the truck and said just deliver them. We went a head and said deliver them, having no idea how bad it would be. They show up, and don't want to install them, which we paid for, they just wanted to sit them in our garage, then they install them backwards, and put the pedestal on the washer, are they dumb, the pedestal washer goes under the washer. I argued with them, but they said the washer hose was too short to put the washer on the left and the dryer on the right. So, they installed them incorrectly with the washer on the right and the dryer on the left. We still don't have the pedestal washer, and I have been calling and complaining since the washer and dryer were installed wrong, I have talked to 3 managers Jermaine, Garret, and today Kevin. I've even called the cooperate office multiple times with absolutely no resolution. We will not be buying any more appliances from HomeDepot. This has been the absolute worst customer service I've ever had. I if I could give zero stars to post this I would. read more

Lousy customer service. There was a line forming at the paint counter. We asked three different people to have someone help at the paint counter along with other people. I even called the main number while standing there and it was all about let me find somebody let me find somebody let me find somebody, but nobody could find anybody. They really need to cross train people because after all was said and done apparently the ONLY employee who knew how to mix paint had called out conveniently. This was after at least a 15 minute wait. I even started shouting in the store. Somebody get to the paint department. We will never recommend and probably won't shop there again. read more

Went in tonight to purchase a new washer machine and dryer set. Total was around $1,400. Would not give military discount due to them having a Labor Day sale. I work in customer service in the auto industry and if I lost a 1,400 sale due to not giving a customer who has earned their 10% discount, I would probably be written up or let go. Was able to go to Lowe's and get the same model at the same sale price, plus my 10% off. Was not the sales associates fault. They were very nice. I was there, ready to go with ONE item, and no one was to be seen (did see her on the way in). Finally someone came up, did something on the register, said they would be right back and left. it took around 10 minutes for me to buy my ONE bag of potting soil. I have had less than good luck on MANY occasions at stores similar to Home Depot. I am a diy-er. Damn Youtube for making me think I can do almost anything! Thank gawd for friends who reel me back into reality! Tragic weekend of plumbing issues following my washer dying. Ya $65 for dude to do so little...but I regress. Anyhoo I had to go rent this awkwardly heavy snake machine to clean out the lines as all 3 bathrooms were out of commission. Not me, a guy who does plumbing stuff at his regular job. So I go to home depot and WOW! Thank you Geno in rentals. A line of 4 women who were all tackling or at least renting the equipment to tackle, some SERIOUS projects on a Sunday afternoon. Geno was patient, informative and NOT A condescending jerk like many I have been greeted with previously. He gave each of us tips to make sure things went smoothly. I am going to share a very important tip right here! They close at 8pm on Sundays. If you come in just after 4pm what you rent does NOT have to be returned until the next morning-but you can pay for just 4 hours!! WOO HOO!! A GREAT BIG THANKS to Brad also. I was taller by a head and I don't think he weighed 105- pretty sure one of my thighs is75 pounds AND YET Dude got that damn thing in the back of my 4 door sedan. Thank you Brad for using all your strength while keeping a smile on your face. They're probably a good crew when not put under pressure. Like say what is going on all around us at the moment. But when you wait in line just to unload a brand new lawnmower to exchange (an armature on one of tires was badly bent) for 30 minutes and then get told you'll need to go inside first and you need to move your vehicle and then wait in another line before you can go in to exchange your several $100 purchase...then you finally get inside and have to wait for a customer service return clerk because they are checking people out! And then wait for two clerks to pull a replacement and then have the csr clerk tell them she needs the returned mower before she can do anything. And then after they get your mower from the south 40 you come to find they brought the wrong one to CS and then you're waiting all over again. And after that who shows up with it but a 40 something lady. Like she's gonna load the thing? By herself? Oh no, they expect me to help load it. Guess I should have been using my cane but I really didn't think if I didn't need it when I picked it up that morning (Thank you Susan!!!) I wouldn't when exchanging it. Good grief. Like I said, probably a good crew when not under duress. So basically I could have dropped the thing on a cart - taken it to CS, hopefully they would have pulled the right replacement the first time and I'm out the door in what 30 minutes? I contracted with the window installation services of Home Depot after asking some questions of the employees in the windows section. They recommended Mark Knittle and I had him come over to look at a window replacement project I had to get done and quick! Mark came over, we talked and I selected a lifetime warrantied double-hung replacement window for the construction grade window that was over 13 years old and had started to leak when it rained! The next step was for the job installation manager Robby Ayers to stop by and get measurements as these windows are made to order. About a week after the measurements were sent in I was notified of the window's build was complete and the installation date and time were set up. This was ahead of the 2 weeks I was given, a nice surprise. The installers were running late, it was due to an internal error, but they did text me with updates and did not eat lunch so they could make up for the time. I was impressed with their knowledge and ability of window installation and especially Jason Philips was very polite and courteous with his responses to my questions. Within about an hour the install was done and all finish work completed to our satisfaction. If I do need to replace other windows on our home, these are the professionals I'm going to deal with. Thoroughly disgusted and recommend anyone to go somewhere else. Mgmt was dismissive and rude. Loaders were equally poor. I go to Home Depot regularly and nearly every time count at least 10 people with no mask, mask below nose, mask below chin, etc. I have seen people enter without any face covering at all, and seen people in the store without any thing on their faces or in their hands. One star only because I can't give negative star rating. Door was locked at 1:30PM. I ran to door in heavy rain only to find door locked and a employee motioning to go to other door. Called store manager in my truck to complain. "Joseph" claimed its store protocol to lock door during a tornado watch. I asked why one door but not the other? Lock your door and force customers to walk in pouring rain to another door is your store policy then I'll just walk to my truck and drives to LOWES instead. read more

I purchased four appliances from The Home Depot during a sale and found out that they do not deliver their appliances. GE Delivery service called the day before my scheduled delivery date to cancel the delivery. They said they did not have all of the appliances and they will not deliver partial orders. They gave me another delivery date for two weeks later so I scheduled a vacation day at work. Today is the day that they were to deliver my appliances for the second time and when no one called to confirm the delivery I called the delivery service several times to inquire about my delivery and after 42 minutes of holding I was told that they would not be delivering today either and that they still do not have my appliances to deliver to me and would not have them until sometime in February!!!! I called back to The Home Depot and talked with Stephanie in customer service and she is working on getting my order delivered ASAP. I will update this review again in a couple of days. read more

Do Not Buy Your Appliances from this store unless you find it is the best price out there, and only then IF YOU CAN TAKE THE APPLIANCE WITH YOU THE SAME DAY. My sis has been without a stove for several moths. Called home depot December 21 paid cash for new stove but was told their first delivery date would be January 02; Well January 02 came, no call, and no stove delivered. I'm at home with flu but get text from my sis did not receive new stove. Get up this morning to start calls to find out what has happened. I get a lot of I'm sorry, but all I want to hear is the stove will e be delivered by tomorrow . Ended up speaking with manager on duty Shawn that the best he can do is get stove delivered by this coming Saturday. Sorry I know they have trucks that go out every day. My order and delivery should be a priority at this point but it was not, and delivered out to my sister by the next day. But what the heck this store has had my money since December 21. HORRIBLE customer service. We came in to buy a patio furniture set today and were met with two employees who could not have cared less that we were trying to spend nearly a thousand dollars in their store. We picked out a set we liked and took pictures of the specific items and color options and took them to the checkout. The first guy sent us to customer service and he was slow/didn't care, but we brushed it off and laughed about bothering him. We were then met by a middle aged man at the customer service desk who was beyond irritated to be at work. We told him exactly what we wanted and even had pictures of the UPC's and table tent, but this was evidently not enough. I offered to go get the table tent and brought it back to the customer service desk. This guy then huffs and puffs while writing down the UPC's from the tent and calls home and garden to tell them, "this customer has very specific requests for this furniture. Do you have it?" He then hangs up and says they only sell this furniture in sets. I highly doubt this as the table tent has information for individual items and had options for at least double the number of things in the display. There was also a ring of color swatches connected to the chair so we weren't asking for something they weren't offering. We got home and checked out the stuff online to see that in fact you CAN customize the furniture (as we already knew). We thought about calling to ask to speak to someone who actually cared, but decided this was probably storewide. Disappointing visit when we dealt specifically with people who supposedly have customer service training and came to them knowing exactly what we wanted to purchase. read more

Wow Home Depot. I will never use you again. We ordered flooring from you because you were running an installation special. No one EVER mentioned to us that in an older home, you might not install due to subfloor or that you might charge thousands extra. We packed up our whole house and took four days off work for your installers to come, only to discover that the entire subfloor will have to be re-built (which by the way, your installers don't do) for the install. Meanwhile, we wasted our vacation days and packed our ENTIRE house up!!!!!! Seriously? Don't you think that a responsible part of the installation process should include someone coming to the house to see if it's do-able BEFORE the homeowner purchases flooring, has it delivered, takes four days of vacation time for the installers, and packs their entire five bedroom house up???? 3/27/2015 went to home depot last night to buy a storage shed/small building around 8 x 10 size or 10 x 12. when we could get someones attention to help us, one employee said she would get someone to help us and they never came, then we got ahold of another employee who told us they would be right with us, which he never came back. we stood there nearly 45 minutes trying to find someone to help us and no one ever did. well guess what home depot, we went to lowes where they were more than happy to help us and they got the sale. we bought 10 x 12 building and they will get all of our business in the future. since we are remodeling our home. you lost!!!! read more
