Usually, I am the one who has to hunt down someone to assist me. What a welcomed change! What I needed was two-cycle engine oil, and they were featured on an end-cap of the aisle. Easy enough! The staff member and I visited for a bit, and he provided some advice on which kind of gas to purchase in order to mix with the oil. The price seemed fair as it was a "name brand" item. Once at the register, the young lady cashier was very friendly and helpful. After today's wonderful experience, I may choose to shop here more often. It's closer than the Home Depot I normally shop at.

I received assistance right away from one of the managers (Josh) with locating specific tools to cut the crown molding, as well as a specialty electric nail gun (not the one that utilizes an air compressor). His assistance made all the difference in the world, as I didn't have to return any merchandise nor make a second trip to NRH to obtain more tools and materials. The older lady with glasses at cash register (she usually answers the phone) was outstanding in her customer service demeanor, both on my initial visit and a later visit for a different at-home project. She definitely seems to know what she is talking about in terms of available inventory, and correct materials to use when posing a specific question. Further, the coupons offered by the store via internet promotion (sometimes daily or bi-weekly) turned out to significantly help on price reduction. Due to this alone, I highly recommend signing up for Harbor's reward program- it certainly pays an almost immediate return.

This location has been here FOREVER.... I remember going here with my dad when I was a kid. And it seems like they haven't cleaned this place since then either (lots of dust all over the merchandise). But it's a hardware store, a mans place to shop so I guess some dust and a few cobwebs are acceptable. My only complaint is the selection. Since it's such a small hardware store you are limited to very little selection. And when you find what you are looking for, there is usually very little of that product as well. So don't go here expecting to have enough supplies to build a house with, but this is a great place for when you need something in a pinch.
