From the start, the visit felt more like a sales call than a service inspection. I was told my unit "probably wouldn't make it through the summer" and that it would cost more to repair than replace. I was immediately pushed toward a full replacement instead of real troubleshooting. They quoted $17,000 to install a 5-ton unit. When I declined and mentioned that I expected a price closer to $10,000, I was suddenly offered a "huge discount" to match that price--but only if I agreed to install it the very next day. That alone raised red flags. After installation, several issues followed. The crew left a mess and damaged a fairly new access door (less than a year old). While they did eventually send a contractor to repair it, it shouldn't have happened in the first place. More concerning were the technical issues. I had ongoing problems with a clogged drain line, and after three separate visits, no real solution was provided. Instead, I was repeatedly pushed to buy a $1,600 water condenser and a service plan. I later learned that the line simply needed to be properly vacuumed out--something that should have been basic knowledge. I also experienced recurring power loss to the unit. For nearly a year, the issue was blamed on the thermostat. Eventually, it was discovered that the breaker in front of the air handler was never properly installed and was missing screws from day one. At this point, I honestly can't tell if this comes down to poor training or a company culture focused on repeat visits and upselling. Either way, it was frustrating, time-consuming, and unacceptable for such a large investment. The upside is that I now know how to maintain my own system--because I had no choice but to learn. Unfortunately, I would not recommend ARS Rescue Rooter based on my experience. read more

I attempted to purchase 4 patio doors a d 4 windows from Home Depot. What a thorough mess. Unable to provide original price and sales price of each item. They unable to add or reduce order in less than several weeks and then price inaccurate. Unable to answer questions pertaining to if an item will fit in cettain space. I had to go find other professionals to assist in answering my concerns. Today i canceled my order as i asked district manager to provide balance due. This is coming from a Pro member of the Home Depot. The ProDesk located in Spring Hill Home Depot is the worst I have ever encountered in any Home Depot ever. I don't wanna get into finances, but my company does spend a lot of money at Home Depot's in various locations in different part's of the state. And this is not recently one time visit it has been going on for years here. The people that work the ProDesk do not put any effort into the Pros that walk in the door. I have actually observed them walking around when the line is halfway down the aisle, hiding behind the computers and whatever they can not to help people. And I am aware of the difference between using a computer and hiding behind one I'm in business 45 years. This Home Depot is horrific. Terrible customer service. Sindy the girl who handles returns at the Springhill location is the most rude and condescending customer service person I have seen in some time. I got a gift for Christmas that I had to return without a receipt This is something I don't like to do return gifts, but I didn't need the product. She tells me is the last time I can return something to them without a receipt. Now I understand their are store policies and I get that. But I shop at both Home Depot and Lowe's and I spend thousands of dollars a year. But when you come off with that kind of attitude like I'm trying to rip the store off. That is ridiculous. If you do not like your job or you can't be friendly, then working in customer service might be a bad choice and you should look for a different line of work. From here forth if I have a choice between Lowe's and Home Depot, I will more likely choose Lowe's every time just from that one incident. I do NOT RECOMMEND using Home Depot installation services. After researching different providers in October 2025, I decided on Home Depot of Spring Hill, Florida to install impact resistant windows and sliding glass doors (value25.5K), it was to be 30 days before the products were manufactured and installed. The installation proceeded in late November. The inspection by the county was held up due to an error in the permit package and the inspection was finally called for in late December 2025. The installation did not pass inspection. Although it was due to two relativity minor problems, it is now the end of January 2026 and I cannot get them to complete the work. Another issue is that dust containment was not used, the windows were not cleaned as promised and I had to hire cleaners to clean up the mess. Home Depot did not inspect the job after the subcontractors completed the installation. Phone calls and emails are ignored. I reached out to the Spring Hill store management and they emailed the "window and door division of central FL.) and requested that they take ownership of the problems, to no avail. To top it off I am unable to get my energy rebate from the state of Florida due to the negligent handing of this project by Home Depot. I do not know what it is going to take to get this job completed, but if in the future if there are issues with the windows, I hold no illusions that Home Depot will stand by their products and installation. In the meantime, I cannot get the refund from the state or the discount from my homeowners insurance company. read more

I spent thousands of dollars a year at Home Depot. I went into this one and told a floor manager I wanted a shed. He wasted 5 minutes of my time taking all of my contact information and told me that an installer would contact me within 48 hours. After four days, and no contact, I went into the store again to buy more stuff. I told the same guy that nobody called me. Then he tried to waste my time again but I told him to walk me to my car as he took my information again. I gave him the information and he said I would be contacted. nobody contacted me AGAIN! This is why he assisted the painter that is seen in the photo. He has professional relationships with those painters and it's his job to make those customers his top priority, not you. He is not in a apron for a reason. Usually a Rep will not encounter this sort of confusion from any customer. Pro, DIYers, young or old can usually recognize the difference in dress code and acknowledge, that is not a HD employee. He works for specific name brand, not HD. Also, I m sure you are greatly exaggerating the amount of time you spent standing there. It would have been an intelligent move to speak up and ask for help. Called Home Depot Allstate warranty for my refrigerator. Well on the phone he asked if I could hold well he call the appliance repair company that was Flamingo appliance out of Orlando. Came back and said the earliest would be 8 days out and the appointment would be between 1-5 and I said fine. The day before service, around noon I received a call from them confirming appointment the next day between 1-5 all good. Around 4 I received another call to confirm and said between 8- noon I said that won't work as I took the afternoon off work for them and their response was take it or leave. I got an email from Home Depot yesterday about the holiday sale which included the Ryobi days sale. I went to the store with a copy of the Ryobi days sale and picked up the Ryobi 2 battery pack which included one free tool as in the add picture and choose the Ryobi blower. when i got to the cashier she told me I made up the sale and that it did not exist and that Home Depot never sends emails to customers about their sales. I was insulted as she called me a lair .We called the store mgr. and she also said the same so we went to another terminal and accessed the internet and went to the Home Depot website even as she looked at the add she insisted that I was wrong and refused to sell me the pkg. Not sure why it was such a problem to get drywall cut. I talked to three different associates and was directed in three different directions. But had bought drywall before and had it cut with no problem. I ended up spending about an hour waiting. I would have just left but I had a client waiting for me to finish a job. read more

This location has a large selection and a wide variety of things. The plant section is always flourishing, it's beautiful but very pricey. As long as you know what your looking for you're all set - if you need to ask for assistance then it's a toss up. Either you'll be assisted and on your way or you'll have to ask multiple different workers and hope one can answer your question. My only complaint is that workers shouldn't be allowed to have their cellphones with them while they work. Some of them are too invested in their phones to do the job they get paid to do. One female worker was literally checking her makeup with her phone while I was ringing my stuff up at self checkout. read more

The Home Depot I Spring Hill finally delivered my washer & dryer. The dryer they delivered was defective and they were not able to deliver another dryer within a reasonable amount of time. They then refused to return the appliances so so that I could purchase another set. They let me know they have a zero return policy on appliances. The customer service representative suggested that I intentionally break the washer because they may return the set If I could prove the washer was also not working. Went to this Home Depot 3-times since last Thursday; a week ago. Needed a tube of sanded grout caulk in a tube. The Bright White was out and was told it would be in stock the following Monday, I was told. Went Monday, still not in. Went Wednesday and still no Bright White calk. Well, I stopped by today; after 1-week of trying to buy the caulk. Spoke with a fellow and he said it shipped the previous Monday. He mentioned that the night shift just throws things up on top, and would go up and check. Sure enough, a carton of the caulk in Bright White was sitting on top of the cabinet all week. Don't ever buy anything from the store. They don't honor their products they don't stand behind their products. If something goes wrong they give you a warranty sheet from some company who made the product to make you deal with them. We spend about $15,000 a year at Home Depot and the company treat you like this over a $300 purchase. We bought driveway sealer after putting it on a very large area it cracked everywhere. Went back to the store and it would not let us return it and are making us go through a hassle a faxing information back and forth to a company that doesn't care about us at all. I usually go to Lowe's but I went here to add to the family of my tools that my wife started one Christmas. So I went to pick up extra things. I needed a case of spray paint. Waited for 20 minutes for this guy to finish his story of the history of lacker, with no exaggeration. I ended up leaving to pick something else up ... came back and the story was still going. I stacked all my things on a display and waited a little longer. 10 minutes later he was done. I tried to stop him but he said he was busy and would send someone else. I grabbed the sliding stepping platform and got the case of paint myself. As I was getting down ... another employee was giving me grief. I ignored him. He was the other person behind the paint counter that referred me to the History Professor. With an arm full of things, I went into self-checkout. The lady there said they don't sell spray paint by the case. At this point I was aggravated ... asked her if she wanted me to put it back. Without saying anything, she opened the box and placed each spray paint can in a bag after scanning. I took the bag of spray paint along with the box in the other hand. At this point I just wanted to get the hell out!!! A Shopping experience that should have taken 10 minutes took a total of 50. If I need another Makita tool or anything else that Lowe's doesn't have, I will go to Amazon. read more

Everyone that was around had no idea about the wood, how much it cost or how to get it down. Was told to go to the Pro desk to place an order so we did. We stood in line patiently and when the customer in front of us was done the clerk looked at us and walked away. She went to take over another register and sent that cashier somewhere else. I bought a Samsung refrigerator from there 7 months ago and they already stopped carrying the replacement water filter. The one the man recommended from the store was the wrong one, so I ended up with water all over my floor and refrigerator. Not to mention that when they delivered it, they didn't even level it or take off the plastic and we paid to have them set it up and install the waterline. The delivery man said he hoped I would give him a good review when they called, which they never did. And I wouldn't have given him a good one either!! If your in the market for appliance you might want to look somewhere else. After numerous calls to Home Depot and Samsung we are getting a filter from Sears. I have read a lot of the negative reviews here, and I think that often we get what we give. By that, I mean that if you understand that the person waiting on you is a _person_ and not a cog in the corporate wheel, and treat them accordingly you'll find some really great people at HD. Three examples: My first major interaction with this store was about 6 months after I moved here. I had amassed a large list of special order items, appliances, building materials, and so forth, to be delivered. Secondly, I had a cart, literally overflowing with products (I was shedding items as I walked toward check out). I explained to the person checking out that I needed everything on one check to take advantage of a a one time financing promotion. She gathered another cart, and checked out each item, then my special order form, and saw to it that everything was properly taken care of (to the tune of over $10k). As I was leaving I was stopped by security (I guess it looked like I was trying to walk out - no bags), a short shout out to her had me on my way. 2) My well pump failed. I looked on line as I usually do, and found the pump I wanted. I went to the store and it was over $50 more. I brought it to a cashier and said that I was confused about the pricing difference. She said that the store doesn't honor the site pricing, and I would have to go back and order it on line. I guess she saw my combination of frustration and disappointment on my face because she said - "wait a minute, I think I can cram this though as customer satisfaction". Yup - got the site price without a wasted trip (which I really didn't need, any more than I wanted to replace them damn pump). 3) I needed irrigation tubing for my garden. Long story - I won't go into it, but as often happens the manufacturer's site and HD's site were at odds. I asked the guy in the department, he wasn't sure, he got his manager, he tried to find out. No mater what we did (and he even tried to call the manufacturer, but it was Saturday) we couldn't get an resolution. He said "tell you what - will you test this and let me know if it is the right thing? Here - just take it - I'll give you a slip to give the cashier, and no charge". I tested it, it was what I needed, I told him, he told his staff, and now they have the right answer for future customers. I have stood in line to return things (and their return policy is beyond generous) and heard people start off by saying how it is all "their" fault, and "they" shouldn't X Y and Z. Come on people, these are folk just like us, making a living, and trying to keep you _and_ their bosses happy. A calm approach, a smile, and they have proven to me they will go _way_ out of their way to make you happy. I'm totally pleased with all my dealings with the Spring Hill Home Depot. read more

I had sworn off cordless drills approx 10 years ago for there numerous problems and unreliability. I needed to get some work done in my attic and did not want to be running cords up there so I reluctantly purchased a Ryobi Drill with Fast charge Lithium batt packs. It charges fast, runs long enough that I don't run out of power when worked hard. I'm so impressed with this product I purchased the large finish nailer, spot light, and heavy hammer drill for concrete screws, now I set Tapcon like a pro. I'm a believer. read more

Went there on 5/14 around 11 A.M. to shop for some top soil and fire ant killer, we were planning on picking up some plants at a local nursery also. So, we went by the rental department to try and rent a flat bed truck to make things easier for us to do all the work. They had one left, so lucky us! The gentleman took my driver's license and phone number ti start the process. Then he needed my insurance card, but I left in my car, so I had to run out and get it. When I got my insurance card, I noticed it was expired, so I got on the phone with my insurance carrier and got a new card emailed to me. Upon my return, the gentleman then proceeded to tell me he rented out the truck already because I wasn't there and took too long, so I was out for about 20 minutes. He had my drivers license and my phone number, so no courtesy call??? He hands me back my license and that was it. Wow, I was a little shocked with the way everything was handled. So I've canceled my reservation for a carpet cleaner I was going to use the following day and take my business across the street to Lowes. I know I'm just one person and this will probably not get anywhere, but at least I've expressed my feelings. read more

Ordered a refrigerator in store, it was suppose to be delivered on Thursday July 12. When we called the store they said that we weren't on the order list to be dropped off. They said they could give us a loaner fridge the same day, then they called us back and said that they couldn't deliver the loaner fridge today and it would have to be tomorrow, even though we had already took off work this day because it was suppose to come. They rescheduled us for next Wednesday. I think this is horrible communication, and scheduling. Very disappointed. read more

Be very careful when considering these people for kitchen cabinet refacing. We had ordered work to be done, they came and measured the project. Then on January 18th the installer came, did quite a bit of the work only to find a lot of the parts were either missing or the wrong size, so he left. Second installer came about 3 weeks after the first one, did a few more drawers but the pull out drawers were not correct. Supposedly the third installer will show up April 5th, hopefully the job will be complete. So to make the long story longer, either somebody doesn't know how to measure or read measurements. The cabinet factory is in Canada, thus the long time delay. read more

I Rented a Power Tool for 4 hours from this location and as I was about to leave with it a female worker told me it had to be on perfectly flat ground for the Power Rake to work. When I got to my house I found the power rake would only work for 20 seconds at a time and shut down. I called Home Depot to tell them about the issue, they told me that this Power Tool had some problems in the past and to just return it for a full refund. My time off was limited so I did research and called around to shops and discovered the gear oil was empty I purchased gear oil and the power rake worked perfectly for the 30 min I had left on my 4 hour rental . I then returned the power rake told them I had found the problem and fixed it. They said thank you charged me the full rental price minus 6 dollars towards the oil. I was searching for something and really had no idea what to look for or how to go about finding my item, from somewhere in the distance an employee saw my struggle. He asked me in great detail how he could help me. It was like a big sigh of relief!!! Just when you think there is no one that notices your struggle.....I was lucky to see his name tag before I left (with the perfect purchase) his name was Rhett. I never rave about employees, but he deserves a shoutout. Great job Home Depot. You guys really care about your customers. The next time I come here I am asking for him. Home Depot has some of the worse customer service I have ever seen. We tried to do a price match with Lowe's and the representative said no we don't price match that item. It's the same exact item as Lowe's. When I ask for the District Managers number to try and find some resolve the manager Joe says I don't have that number. How do you not have your DMs number for a customer? Did not even offer an email address. So I call corporate with the 1-800 number. The lady there was even worse than the store. I everyone at Lowe's was very friendly and that is where I will be shopping from now on. Home Depot does not care about its customers or what type of service they offer. Can not get ahold of anyone that wants to provide great customer service. There is only one reason this store doesn't get 5 stars. It's because I have ALWAYS used my military I.D. there and I used to get a discount. Well, apparently they have gotten tight with it because if you are not active duty it is no longer a possibility. When you spend 500$ in there this discount would add up. Military retirees (their spouses) and Active duty only. That's right... Not the actual vet but the retirees spouse gets the discount. I boycotted this and went to Lowes across the street They suck so bad that I will pay extra to never have to go in there again. The customer service and knowledge is stellar at Home Depot. read more

Waited for E-mail conformation of item now at store for purchase no conformation received, first problem, called customer support number from original E-mail at 1-800-430-3376. Any option I choose rang and rang, with out representative answering. Finally called 1-800-466-3337, number at bottom of site for home depot .com. Informed representative of non-service at number on order receipt. Save your self an hour of aggravation. negative experience. They will check service number and try to correct, and rep. sent new E-mail conformation which I received immediately. read more
