Everyone I have dealt with here has been great and I have been shopping there for 10 years, I was shocked to see the low star rating.

Love the all the help the staff provides. They are all very helpful, polite ,and go and beyond to make sure I get all the things in order. They are always willing to provide extra help on how to use whatever I have questions-products, tools, etc. way better and well organized than the other. read more

The customer service is really good. The selection is above good. It has a lot of fun. I used to look at the flowers are always nice. The decoration for the season is always nice. There is a large shared parking lot but yet it is still difficult to find a parking spot I hate that you have those stupid doors. Enter an exit. I wish we could enter an exit in either door so please take this away but for the value, you definitely get what you want at a value price or if you want something expensive you get what you pay for, but I would definitely suggest buying whatever you want because we work hard and we deserve it. read more

The employees are handsie and get verbally abusive. As a veteran I was mistreated and it down because I was slow because I am a disabled veteran. He kept yelling and when I asked him to call someone else or go Look he told me I'm wasting his time read more

Keith in the appliances department went the extra mile to give my nervous daughter-in-law other alternatives when HD did not have what she needed. I appreciated his care, his ideas, and how he calmed her down beautifully. She went home and told her husband all his ideas and was quite cheerful. Thank you, Keith. You were a gem on Saturday, July 18. read more

We came here all the way from Auburn for a specific item and their inventory was off. We asked for help from an employee name Steve O. And he was very on top of being there for us: he contacted different stores to make sure we were good and had the items we needed before heading there and he was probably the most helpful employee we have ever encountered at any Home Depot and we have gone to many. It was very much appreciated. Please give him a raise. read more

The Home Depot in Shoreline by Costco has been our go-to home improvement/project supply store growing up and to present. As other stores such as Sears and Ace Hardware have come and gone, The Home Depot still is where we go for supplies we might find there. This includes (and has included), and is not limited to, tools, screws/washers/nails and the like, wood, paints, Christmas trees, and gardening supplies. More recently it has become our go-to place to buy corn for the critters of the back yard. The ears of corn can be variable in size and quality, however the squirrels, bunnies, and birds all eat it off the cob. Occasionally, the corn comes with moths in it, but they can be shaken out for the most part. Parking at the store is abundant and even when busy, a spot tends to open up before too long. There is also a place where one can pull up closer to the store and have worker(s) help load up larger items and pieces of wood. read more

I had a great experience at Home Depot. It was a bad day. I'd been sent three times for the same items. CASSIE & KRISTINE, took care of everything for me. Theu made me feel imporysnt to thrm I'll shop here again, because these two woman really care about the customer. They cared about me. read more

Did the whole curb pickup. Sat outside for 45 minutes, finally flagged someone down, and they still made me go inside. Just know that the curb side pickup doesn't add any efficiency. read more

Horrible service. Returned an item and was only given the option to receive a gift card, despite the fact that I paid in part using my credit card. That is theft. read more

People love to come to the internet to complain but I've never had a bad experience at this Home Depot ever. We have spent $$$ at Home Depot for our Reno right now, the online selection is great and tends to be very competitive. The only thing they couldn't help us with recently in person was cutting a sledge hammer shorter (handle is wood). But I completely get that! read more

I like the paint department but the store as a whole I find irritating now that almost never has cashier, all self serve... much like buying things. Impossible to rare to find someone knowledgeable to help beyond pointing you in right direction if lucky enough to find someone. read more

In store returns are always easy. so I'd give that an 5. Online ordering for this business sucks. The AI isn't helpful and when the last comment is "You're free to shop elsewhere." Fine! I'll take my online orders to Amazon, I'm sure that's no competition for Home Depot. Lousy online service! Less than 1 star, and I'm shopping elsewhere online from now on. read more

Love the paint counter employees, they're so nice! Had a great convo while waiting on some paint. Great energy, made me want to buy more paint to talk longer. read more

I don't know why this location has such low rating. I frequent this location and the staff has always been friendly and helpful when checking out. Yeah I wish there is more coverage when I have questions but then again it's a huge place. The customer service department is pretty efficient with addressing questions and returns. Curb pick up is pretty good except just one time when no one delivered my order for curbside ‍ but does that ruined my day not really because I'm patient and a simple 40 steps to customer service solved the issue. Keep up the good work and spruce up some areas. Still my favorite Home Depot. read more

This place is a hot mess with just poor customer service. No one communicates with what is on stock, or they know what's going on. No one wants to help, and no one around if you have questions. Bad experience in general. read more

Attempted to redeem a giftcard. I was told I needed to have the physical gift card with me. Have home Depot employees not heard of e-giftcards?!?!?! Then when the cashier understood it was AN E GIFT CARD I was told that in order to redeem an e-giftcard I needed to present the full email (which would reveal my personal information, such as my email address). MY EMAIL ADDRESS IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. So, when I tried again to present a screen shot of the gift card email (with my information not visible) that showed the giftcard number and the PIN, I was asked "where did you get card." Again--NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. Here's the kicker: This was a giftcard I had already redeemed several times at this location and another. In this visit, I was using up the remaining .52 cent balance. That's right. FIFTY-TWO CENTS. So here's the thing, Home Depot. You as a private business can impose whatever ridiculous and onerous and privacy-violating conditions on your customers that you wish. But as a customer can just as easily go to Lowes if these are the types of policies you are now insisting on. However, I'm not sure these are actually your policies. I think I may have just encountered some real morons at your store today. Are these your policies? If yes, I will be switching to Lowes. If no, please respond back and clarify what your gift card policy is. Do you really need to ask me where my gift card came from? Do you really need to see the full email addresses for me (and the sender), exposing my personal information? read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. I asked 5 different employees for help to find a large steel spike and furring strips. Not one of them knew what I was talking about even after describing the length of the spike using my hands, the diameter using my fingers and told them it would be made of solid steel. Then I tried asking for a breaker bar -- might as well have been speaking Ancient Greek. In the lumber department, no one knew what furring strips were, even when I said 1" x 2" x 8'. I was taken to the 2" x 4" s and 4' x 4"s. By then I had had to traverse the entire store several times, having been given incorrect locations for what I wanted and my hips and knees were screaming. Then! Then I went to check out and there was only self checkout! Didn't have a clue how to do that. At least there was a very young boy in that area who was willing to check my purchases out for me. Never again, Home Depot. No wonder folks order online From anyone else. read more

One star for the clerk at the return desk who told me there were not any managers there to help override my declined return. Five stars to the assistant manager who apperaed out of nowhere, talked me down and tried to help after I was almost out the door in frustration. No employees in sight to help customers. I finally called the customer service desk from within the store to tell them I needed help. The person who took the call said he would send someone. The absolute worst. They're charging me $600+ for furniture that I did not receive. Their shipping company, Maersk, confirms that I did not receive the delivery. All Home Depot has to do is talk to their own delivery co. They refuse to do that, and refuse to refund my money. They do not care at all about customer experiences. I've been doing a bit of research, and deliveries appear to be a recurring issue with customer complaints. read more

Terrible experience. First, I needed to buy a list of things, and this store is vast. Impression was: a lot of young people on their phones not looking up to help actual customers. When they do finally help, they have to use an app to locate items. Maybe just make that available to customers since employees seem uninterested in helping. 2. Designer there was dismissive of my design idea saying flatly: "I would never do that." Well, project turned out great, despite his negative "design support." 3. Store allows pets. We have a golden retriever, whom we love and who I don't inflict on others by bringing him into the store. Just as well because on this visit, two pitbulls, owned by separate parties, started fighting at checkout. HD should not allow pets, IMHO. They have a bunch of PSAs about safety. If you want store to be and feel safer, don't allow pets. Never again. read more

Normally this place is great, I'm by no means Home Depot's best customer but I do come here often. I rarely have to return anything. This Home Depot has the worst delivery service. When purchasing a $2800 refrigerator, the quality delivery and installing was not what they stated. If you have a plastic water line, they will say it needs to be copper. If it is copper luke mine, they will say it needs to be plastic. Anyway, they will not install the line. So, I had to pay a plumber to pull it out to attach the water line. Home Depot installers didn't bother to remove the cover of the door open sensor or leave the tray below the water dispenser. I had to go there to have one ordered from the factory. The bottom line is I did not have any saving purchasing from the Home Depot. Follow up - Problem resolved by myself. read more

Their interior services is a joke. I set an appt. Got an email confirmation with the name of the person coming from Seattle WA. location. He was a no show. Did not call. I called the 866- 646-0656 and "mexico" call center answered. I called 1800-466-3337. Georgia call center. Asked for a manager. A woman working remotely in Florida picked up. Told I am not allowed to contact the Seattle HD Interior Sercices office where the kitchen remodel people work out of in this area. All the Florida woman did was tell me she can email the Sales Manager and get back to me. I was not allowed to have a local number to contact the people. THUS IS THE SECOND TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED. This is probably the best Home Depot I've been to. Every time I've visited, someone has always taken the time to ask if I needed help or if I've found everything I was looking for. The last time I was there to pick up a large and heavy online delivery, they offered to wheel it out and place it in the car. It turns out that it was actually the store manager (I think his name was Erik), that helped us out. Nothing but positive experiences at this location. I've been to other Home Depot spots where the workers can see I'm struggling with some heavy items, and they avert their eyes back to their cell phones. So I'm happy with the service here in Shoreline. read more

Normally a visit the Home Depot is fairly pleasant. Helpful people. Good service. Fair prices. Great garden section. Today, was a bit strange . While making our way to the checkouts. Every isle had a blockage of people or carts. After several attempts to exit up to checkout. We pushed our cart up the isle and we passed by a lady who said , that woman won't move her cart. Assuming she was a customer, we kept on our path, and said excuse me as we approached the lady. She looked up and said oh, and moved her cart slightly and said maybe could have gone down another isle . My husband said , maybe you could move. She stated, well, maybe you shouldn't come to the store while there is a restock going on..... um reallly lady? Maybe there weren't a be need for a restock if we and other shoppers like us weren't here ... shopping... duh! read more

This was the first (and last) appliance that I will purchase at Home Depot. I paid for delivery, installation and hauling away my old appliance. On the day of delivery, the installers explained to me that I needed a different kind of valve to install the dishwasher and so they were unable to do it. This would have been good to know ahead of time. I thought when I paid for installation, that would include parts, etc. So, they left my new dishwasher and did not install or haul away my old one. They did, however, explain, that a Home Depot representative would contact me and they could send another installer who could replace my valve-Great! I ordered a stack unit Washer/Dryer from Home Depot on 10/5. The earliest delivery date was 11/10. I hated to wait so long, but that was the schedule and I accepted it. Took the day off from work, gave my old washer/dryer to a neighbor last night and insisted it had to be picked up before the end of the night to make room. Got a call from the delivery folks earlier - someone had to get towed out of a muddy driveway, so my delivery is rescheduled for a week out. Initially it was a month out until I complained loudly. No excuse to not either make it happen tonight OR sooner than a week. I will never order large appliances from HD again. So frustrated with this lousy service! read more
