We bought a refrigerator from them and it was an awful experience. Purchased online and setup delivery. They promised a 2 hour delivery window, but outsourced the delivery to another company with a 4 hour window. The delivery team got behind and ended up telling me they would come until Monday when we scheduled a Friday delivery. Any attempt to resolve the issue with the managers at Albert Lee fell on deaf ears. I couldn't even get a call back from the store from anyone. Will never purchase from here again. I would highly advise against anyone buying a Fisher & Paykel product, especially from Abert Lee. Their customer service is terrible on both sides. I purchased a FISHERPRO Range Com Dual Fuel 11/1/20. The screen was acting up with in the 2 year warranty period. I was told I live outside their service area. I live 36 mins from the Albert Lee I bought it from, they delivered it to my house. They should have the responsibility of telling someone that purchase a 6k range that you cannot get it serviced. I was eventually contacted by a gentleman that was supposed to fix the issue once he got back from California... never heard back. Now the touchscreen doesn't work at all for controlling the oven... meaning the oven does not work. I spoke with customer service from Albert Lee and they advised me to google someone who can fix this for me... great customer service guys! I would also note my sister purchased a fisher and Paykel gas range from Albert Lee that they ended up sending back after 2 different units showed up with gas leaks. They were less than helpful with the return process. Again I would advise against buying any Fisher & Paykel products as well as doing any business with Albert Lee both of their customers service teams are terrible. read more

Albert Lee advertises 2-day delivery on in stock appliances. Delivered as advertised but it was damaged. Dented on 3 different panels. I was offered $50 to accept the damaged dryer. I opted for a replacement, but we need to wait 3 more days. I asked about having the damaged dryer installed until they can deliver an undamaged one. They cannot. I called the salesman (Mike) and he did nothing but verify they have another in stock. He was annoyed and asked me what I wanted. I asked for them to reduce the cost of what I paid. His response was Mgt. will not go for that. They cannot be held responsible for the delay due to the dryer being damaged. Where is the, "We treat our customers like family", as their video on their website says. Such a disappointment from a large supplier as Albert Lee. I purchased a new high end range the beginning of October. The range they delivered was leaking gas from the unit. They delivered a second one that was also leaking gas. There were no more in stock and honestly why would I want to try for a third so I selected a different make. This third range is not working properly, I'm currently waiting for a repair tech. I went 2 months with no range and now over 2 weeks with one where only the stove is working properly. The customer service and quality of products are truly been lacking. read more

It's all in the recovery and after-sale service. We understand with all businesses, there will be glitches so am willing to keep an open mind and give Albert Lee Appliance the benefit of doubt. We picked up a brand new dishwasher at their docking station in Ballard on Sat. When we unpacked it on Sunday we were initially so thrilled with our purchase only to find the metal on the underside is bent and caved in. Since it is Sunday, I called and left a message with the sales dept and with Derrick the salesperson right away. The damage is not visible when viewed from the front. It isn't until the styrofoam is completely removed and you look underneath. The rest of the packaging hasn't even been removed. WILL UPDATE THE RESOLUTION. It will either be a 5 or 1. Again, it's all about the recovery....... Update- Called Monday morning at 9 am. Unfortunately, it is Dereck's day off. Spoke to Lindsay in the sales dept. She took down the order number and said we would receive a call TODAY! WILL UPDATE THE RESOLUTION for your reference. Hopefully, it will turn out well! Update!- Received a call from Lindsay at 9:45am to let us know the delivery person will deliver another dishwasher within the hour, inspect for any damage and pick up the damaged one! I deeply regret having trusted Albert Lee Appliance with my dishwasher purchase. The installers lied and tricked me into signing for a machine they had not fully installed. The store claims they have no control over the 3rd party installation outfit THEY HIRED to install the machine. I'm sorry I signed for this machine. I knew I didn't like it when they ran an empty load with it jutting out from the cabinets. Albert Lee won't take it back. They apparently would rather have an unhappy customer. The installers said the cabinet edge needed a slight modification for the machine to fit, to call their cell phone when that was done, and they would come back and finish the job. It's been done and they have been ghosting me for two days now. I wish I had trusted my gut and forced the installers to take it back. She listened to all of our needs and recommended the perfect refrigerator/freezer combo for our kitchen at close to $1000 less than I could find either online or in any other store. HIGHLY recommend asking for her to anyone shopping at Albert Lee. Derrick and Damian did the pick up/haul away of our old refrigerator and installed the new one. Our 20 year old fridge died. We'd had good experiences with Albert Lee, so we went to the Lynnwood/Alderwood Mall store. Mike H. helped us, and we found a unit in stock that met our needs. Mike warned us that even though the new fridge was in stock, delivery was severely backlogged and could possibly take up to a month! However, Mike H. and Albert Lee were able to make the delivery within a week. The two gentlemen delivering the new unit (AND removing the old) were charming and witty, and their clean and efficient deliver was done in the twinkle of an eye. read more

We bought a higher end Bertazzoni French door fridge from Albert Lee. The fridge was a floor model and was marked down. The sales person told us they just wanted to make room for a new model, and this fridge was never plugged in. The fridge arrived 2 weeks later (their delivery was hard to schedule) it worked right for about 5 days and then it has been having problems ever since. The degrees of the freezer fluctuates from the 0 to close to 40 degrees every few days. It has ruined my food many times. Albert Lee was not very helpful in arranging service. AL did not get back to us in a timely manner, so now we've been dealing with Bertazzoni ourselves and it has been such a headache. Be careful for getting a lemon from Albert Lee. After they made the sale, they are not very interested in helping you solve problems! Update: Albert Lee customer service team has reached out to us to better understand the issue, and has committed to ensuring there is a resolution to the issue in the end. We appreciate their response to the Yelp review and verbal commitment to a solution. We will continue to follow up on Albert Lee's assistance as this progresses. In the spring of 2022, our stove "blew out" because, for the first time ever,, we'd used the self-cleaning feature. That was way too hot (800º) and we lost the thermal fuse and the motherboard. Today's stoves have those self-cleaning features, but your efforts might result in ruining the stove. We went to Lynnwood's Albert Lee Appliance and really lucked out, getting Zac as our salesperson! He was so patient, even demonstrating how their induction range would heat the pan but not the surface of the stove. Impressive. He showed us other induction ranges and we are really happy with the one we have, the delivery, and the disappearance of our old stove onto their truck. A few months later, we noticed water on the kitchen floor. Everything was melted. The blower motor was getting some power, but not enough. Neighbors to the rescue! All of our frozen and refrigerated food ended up in their 4 refrigerators/freezers. $200 worth of meat had to be discarded. We went back to Zac and he showed us some nice refrigerators. We picked one that we really liked a lot. It turned out he has the same one in his own home, so that was a good recommendation. The refrigerator was in our kitchen in less than a week, and these days some people wait for months. Albert Lee Appliance stocks many of different models in their warehouses. I could say more about how great Zac has been, but suffice it to say....his personable demeanor and helpfulness were characteristics we appreciated so much. Our Bosch dishwasher just died, so found the model we wanted and called Albert Lee for a price. They told me they didn't have that model, that no one had it and it would be 6-12 months before it would be available. The sales guy then tried to upsell me with a model $600 more as that's what they had in stock. I hung up, checked with Home Depot, they had the exact same model I was looking for. Ordered it 2/1/2022, it was delivered 2/15/2022 and husband just installed it this afternoon! Don't understand why the Albert Lee sales rep didn't want to work within my budget, but it definitely pays to shop around. Until now. 2 years ago I had bought a refrigerator there for our new house. We had some issues with the refrigerator itself and I shouldn't have ANY issues with a brand new $4000 refrigerator. The owners and I talked and disagreed on how to go about handling the situation. I came out of the phone call very disappointed and frustrated with the company, but like all things I quickly moved on. I dealt with the hand that was given to me. Thought nothing if it after the call was over. This was 2 YEARS AGO. 2 DAYS ago went into Albert Lee to buy a dryer with my husband and 2 kids. After a brief pause with our sales guy the store manager comes out and says to me and my husband in front of my kids and everyone in the store that our account was closed by the owner and I was no longer allowed to purchase anything from the store ever again. I was BANNED like a criminal. Needless to say me and my family were utterly mortified and humiliated. We totally wasted our time making a trip all the way out to the store. Our kids were beyond embarrassed seeing this happen to their parents. The company and the owners never notified or warned us beforehand about our account being closed. THAT is how we found out. Yesterday I called Ken ( One of the higher up managers/owner) to have a discussion about our call that happened 2 years ago as I thought an apology may be warranted if I had made them that angry. Even with my apology (with NONE to me for the embarrassment that this caused my family) he just said in a short crass tone...we wish you the best and once we close your account there is no opening it. End of conversation. Who does this to good paying customers? My God they are just appliances. I see 1 and 2 star reviews on here with sympathetic responses from the company and I get kicked out? NEVER in my life have I been banned from any store or anyTHING in my life...and over a refrigerator?? To Albert Lee. it's ok to disagree on how to handle situations with your customers. Remember we spend a lot of money in your stores. Things get said in the heat of the moment. I certainly didn't hold you accountable for how I was poorly treated on that phone call. I came back to purchase in your store in spite of that. Show some grace and don't blindly cut customers off over one disagreement. No laws were broken here. When evaluating a company, it is always more important to look at how they deal with situations when things go wrong as opposed to experiences when things go right. Because things will go wrong, and good or great companies deal with them very well. Albert Lee has completely failed in this regard. To start out, I needed to purchase an entire kitchen of appliances. I made my decisions quickly and ordered what was recommended by the guy on the floor. This is where the okay experience ended. I wouldn't expect much more or less up to this point. If you're going to get good service, it is always on the front end. Delivery: Mediocre, no shoe covers, minimal protection to the floor, but timely. Nothing special, nothing terrible. One of the appliances was clearly failing upon delivery, the compressor was making a terrible noise, so they brought it back and I was told they would let me know when the new one would be delivered. Fine, replacement and we're all good. No communication about the new delivery was made to me until the day before like the people told me. It worked out. Fast forward a couple months, and one of my appliances has issues. I called in and they told me I would be contacted about a repair scheduling. No communication about choosing a time/day until I get a text saying a date during the week. What was the window of time? EIGHT HOURS!! I have to take an entire day off just to get my appliance looked at? I contacted their call center in the Philippines, and was able to get it shifted to a half day. Still a half day of work down the drain waiting. Service date comes and the appliance need to go back. Not fixable. The repair person told me that Albert Lee would be contacting me to remedy the situation. Contact? ZERO, none. I call, leave multiple messages, NO CALL BACKS. MONTHS later I finally get to the initial guy who took my call and said they are still waiting to hear from the tech. He said they should hear back "tomorrow" and will reach out to me. That was 7 business days ago at this point, and still nothing. Now the appliance is failing completely. They have had my money for 6 months. I have been trying to get the appliance switched for 3 months. I have taken days off for a first delivery, a second delivery, and repair service. I will have to take more time off when it finally does get taken care of. I have contact their customer service dozens of times. They have yet to make a single call to me, either with a status update or to return voicemails on their customer service line. Beware of the company you are dealing with if you have ANY issues at all, you will not be taken care of. Bad business. read more

After having issues with both of my refrigerators and my chest freezer, I went to Albert Lee to look into buying new appliances. Fortunately, I was able to repair the fridges, but the chest freezer had to go. I called to find out what my options were, and was blessed to be paired with Jean. She was helpful, patient, friendly, and I was able to find a new freezer that was within my budget. I had opted to pick the freezer up from the warehouse in Ballard due to the longer delivery lead time. However, due to illness, could not make it for another month, and Jean did not want the freezer to get reallocated to someone else. I am a single mom and short on resources for help. Jean diligently sought to find a solution, followed up with me, and managed to get me on the schedule - a real miracle worker!! I am so grateful to her for helping me when I was down. I walked in just because I happened to be driving by. Planned to go to Lowes for a washer & dryer, thought I'd look at Albert Lee'sI inventory, but expected prices to be higher. I was wrong. Very, very wrong. Their prices were more than competitive, more than fair. Plenty of inventory to choose from, and the salesman told me that delivery includes pick up of the old appliances (not an issue for me), all hoses, all electrical cords, installation and testing. Lowes does not include the necessary hoses and cords, you have to pay extra. Salesman also explained some of the differences between models, and gave me a head's up about possible repair challenges for Samsung models, so I chose GE. No problem scheduling a mid-week delivery, planned for the day after my house purchase closes. If delivery goes as scheduled, I plan to go back to select my kitchen appliances when I am ready to remodel my kitchen. read more

We count on Albert Lee for excellent service and knowledge - seriously, they are the only ones that know anything about appliances. We needed a new refrigerator and went to the usual big box stores and the sales people knew next to nothing about the products - then we went to albert lee and they can gave us not only product information and recommendations, but the history of refrigerators, how it has changed in the past 20 yrs and what we needed to consider. We had some challenges with the amount of space we had for the fridge and what would fit in this very tight space. If it hadn't been for the sales person at Albert Lee, we would have bought something that did not have enough circulating air around it - cause no one else talked to us about how important that is with the newer refrigerators. When we finally chose the refrigerator after consulting with them, they didn't have it in stock and we ended up having to buy it somewhere else. When it was installed from the other company, I had a question that I knew the big box store would not be able to answer and so I called the albert lee experts and they were gracious and kind about answering my question about a product I didn't even buy from them! There are so few places now that have knowledgeable staff people - you might pay a little more, but you will get something that really works for you. read more

My wife and I were still in the planning stages of a complete remodel of our home. We've never undertaken a project of this magnitude, so when we walked into the Albert Lee Appliance store in Lynnwood with our list of appliances the array of choices was almost overwhelming. We'd initially told the greeter in the store that we wanted to look around on our own. After about 40 minutes, a friendly sales representative by the name of Mike Hammingh approached us. We went through our list and he began to systematically walk us through our options. Mike is extremely knowledgeable and his prior experience as a cabinet maker was helpful. He didn't try to sell us on just the most expensive products and listened to our input before making recommendations. He spent nearly 3 hours with us. We asked him to provide us with data sheets and give us some time to consider all of our options. After a few days, we went back to the store and ordered everything we needed. We were making our purchases during the shortages that were so prevalent during the pandemic. Mike was very good about keeping us abreast of lead times. When our appliances arrived at the Albert Lee warehouse, he worked with us to ship them to a storage location, as we'd gotten them earlier than we needed. What a relief that was. I recently told our builder that if any clients needed good advice on appliances to not hesitate to send them to Albert Lee and Mike. I also referred Mike to my sister-in-law, who purchased a new washer and dryer from Mike. We're extremely happy customers. If I could award 6 stars, I would. read more

Do NOT trust these people, especially Roy Schmidt. on 2/5/2022 we visited their Lynnwood store and picked out a dual fuel range that they assured us was in stock and paid $4,000 for the unit. We were told the unit would be marked as sold and the only hold up was delivery since they were extremely busy. They IMMEDIATELY charged our credit card and scheduled the delivery for 3/22/22. Today, 3/16 we get a call telling us that the range is on back order and it wold be at least another month to get it. We have been without a range for two months now and now after PAYING for a range it was sold out from under us. This is unacceptable and shows just how easy it is for them to lie to get a sale. Unbelievable to say the least. UPDATE: The Manager from the location is stating they did not sell the range out from us and they have no control over backorders. HOWEVER when placing the order we specifically asked the sales person if it was in stock and was told yes, it was in stock and it is ours and the only hold up is delivery. Since they took FULL payment from us we in fact owned that range. Checking with BBB, which I admit we should have done 1st, it can be seen this is fairly common practice with them. read more
