We were looking for cement board., at the Mansfield Home Depot. We asked a gentleman "Jonathon" for help. He was right at it. We did want the cement board cut, he went to see what he could do on getting this cut. We are elderly, so made it hard on us to handle it. Jonathon, put the cement board on a cart, then asked if we needed anything else. He went out of his way to pick up a bottle of Goo Gone. He came back, then waited as we checked out, and loaded the cement board into our truck! This gentleman is by far the best employee that the Home Depot has on their staff. What you see in the Home Depot app ($) is not always honored in the store. I was looking to buy a tool, HD advertised in their app for $99 and 2 in stock. Of course, the Mansfield store had none, and I could not get assistance from anyone to check in the back for me. The Burleson location showed 4 in stock, so I drove to Burleson and found 1 open boxed for $129. The Burleson HD would not honor the app price of $99. So I left empty handed. I went home and ordered the tool from Amazon at 4:30pm for sale a price of $69 and received it next day, free shipping, by 1:00 pm. Vendor was Amazon Northern Tool. Northern Toosl local store app showed it in stock for $149. SUPPORT AMAZON AND BUY EVERYTHING YOU CAN FROM THEM! Maybe the box stores will learn to honor advertised prices and start providing customer service once again. read more

I whole heartedly hate leaving negative reviews on businesses. I truly am one of those reviewers who takes the time to share the best kinds of experiences. However, I came here on a Sunday, dropped $200 on a new platform bed for my son at the customer service desk. Initial interaction was great. Fast forward maybe 30 minutes later when I couldn't find my wallet when I pulled up to a restaurant I was heading into for lunch. Being that this was the last place I pulled my wallet out for I called immediately to ask if a wallet was returned. Was told that it was not, I then asked if she could ask the woman who helped me at the desk to see if perhaps she put it somewhere. The woman on the phone said that she'd have her call me back. Fast forward another 15 minutes, I'm driving back to the store and not once on my drive did I get a call back. When I went back to the customer service desk I asked the lady who initially helped me if she had seen the wallet, the woman who answered the phone was standing next to her and cut in and said "oh yeah I asked and she didn't find it." Instantly in my head I'm thinking, was I ever going to get a call back? So I ask the woman who helped me when I first came in if she was sure she didn't see anything if perhaps she can ask around. So she annoyingly calls someone over the phone to ask if a wallet was returned and I was then informed that the person was going to check in the safe and would call back and let her know. Cool, so I'm asked to step to the side so they can procede with the next customers. I'm waiting 15 mins, and nothing. So I decide as they are waiting for this call back, let me go out to the parking lot and see if maybe it was on the ground near the area I had parked. I looked under several cars, rechecked my car and eventually went back in. Now I've been standing around for about 30 mins and these women are completely ignoring me standing there waiting. So I finally walk up to the woman who answered my phone call and I asked her if she heard anything back. She looks at me as if she has absolutely no clue what I was talking about... and I remind her I am waiting on the wallet. She then annoyingly says she has not and procedes with the next guest. While she's helping this guest I guess she couldn't stand the stares I was giving her so she calls back up to whoever the other woman initially called and when she got off the phone she informs me that the wallet was not returned. This review is not based on the fact that my wallet wasn't found but based on the lack of customer service these two employees had when dealing with my crisis. I did not come in accusatory, nor with an attitude. I wasn't rude or disrespectful, and yet I was treated like a nuance even though I had just spent $200 dollars in this same store about 45 mins prior. I am a customer like everyone else and the least they could've done was fake some symphony and pretend to want to help. Will never ever be back at this Home Depot again. read more

While waiting, for over an hour, a cart rolled from their building into my truck damaging the door. Home Depot has determined they are not liable for the damages. It's Friday the 27th of March I walked up to go in at 5:50 and the store closes at 6 The manager informed me that they are closed. I said what time did they close he said 6:00 I said it's 10 minutes till and I just have to get some paint samples to match paint. He informed me that there are already to many people in the store. So I ran over to LOWES who is open till 8:00 pm This home depot isn't the best but because I know where everything is I go there. Three days ago at 4 Home Depot's, my family needed a video doorbell for our home security. We saw the product Secur360 Video Doorbell on their website. 17 in stock at the Texas Grand Prairie South location. 3 in stock at the Texas Mansfeld location. 3 in stock at the Texas Arlington location. 5 in stock at the Texas Cedar Hill location. I purchased one at the South Grand Prairie because their website said they had 17. When I got there there was only one and the package was open. I bought it anyway and as I installed it I found out the "Power Module" was not with the package. The next day I went to another store that I was told had 4 of them in South Arlington. Their website said they had 3 in stock at Arlington. When I arrived there they had "0". I returned the incomplete Secur360 Doorbell and went to the Mansfield, Texas Home Depot that said they had some in stock. Customer Service Order Pick Up said they had it but they could not find it. They said the guy in this department could find it for me.. He said he knew the product and was going to buy one for himself that evening. He said it was on a "Wing Display". As soon as the guy saw there was not any in the doorbell section he left to go "check on something". He came back again and said he was still looking. I decided to see if it was at the end of the aisle; nothing. There was the guy yapping with another Home Depot employee both on their cell phones doing a whole lot of talkin'. The guy said I need to go check another place. I waited as I saw him walk down a ways and then he finally came back and then he said he didn't know where they were. This was a complete waist of time. And there was no offer to find it anywhere else. They had 3 listed but now they say they have none in stock. What a remarkable coincidence. So I left and went to the Cedar Hill location where "5 in stock at Cedar Hill." is advertised on their website. There was nothing there. I went to the front where they checked in the cage of their most shoplifted items are and they said it must be on the truck. I said why would you then advertise it as being in the store? They then said it must be on the top shelf. They began to look up there and then another cashier with fluorescent green mohawk colored hair employee with psychodelic white glasses came over and said to the other two employess "if you can't find it it ain't here." They stopped looking. I said thanks alot. Don't waist your time with the ill-quality and disheveled attitude of what most customers regard as a "Best Seller" video Doorbell from Secur360 at Home Depot. I say its the old Bait N' Switch for the more expensive Google Nest and Ring Video Doorbells. Order it on Amazon and save you some emotional and stressful insecurity at Home Depot. read more

I purchased a $3,000 LG fridge from these guys online. Delivered from the Mansfield store. The fridge is great, but Home Depot is a pain in the butt to deal with after they have your money. If you are looking for a major appliance, do yourself a huge favor and buy it elsewhere. As soon as the store associates received word a major store was coming they quickly assembled all the staff and customers in the most interior place in the building. Replaced a front exterior door thru this store in late 2013. The mortar under the door sill was still good (after 16 years) but had to be replaced for the new door. Less than 6 years later, the new mortar is breaking up and the store wants $75 just to estimate repair. Won't tell me who did the installation so I can call direct. They don't seem to realize how many people out there do free estimates and are still reasonable. Really disappointed in this outfit. read more

At the center of self-serve, there were 3 employees just chatting. My husband approached them and they continued to talk - totally ignoring him. I purchased a gorilla Playset for my daughter. I hired a professional to assemble the swingset. Unfortunately the swingset was short three crucial parts. I contacted Home Depot and they referred me to Home Depot online since we purchased it on the Internet thru Home Depot. After being on the phone for two hours with them they told me I needed to contact the swingset manufacturer to obtain the parts. I spent two weeks trying to make contact with the gorilla playset manufacturer and sent emails several times with absolutely no reply. I called Home Depot back and told them the situation. They attempted to contact the manufacture as well but could also not get a hold of anybody. They informed me unfortunately they could not assist me in this matter. Cant recall a time I've been to this store and didn't have to use self check out as no other registers were open in the main store. Understand the concept of self checkout to check out one or two items and to beat the line. Today - spent 7 minutes in line to check myself out. The self checkout concept is truly being abused to supplement personnel costs with my time and effort and I still have to wait on line to check out. I would have no objections to self checkout to beat a line for my benefit - but when this is the only option and i still have to wait i realize its time to shop elsewhere. Horrible service at the flooring department. My wife and I came to price hardwood for our home. We are installing 2k. We already have a quote from a company, but wanted to compare prices from Home Depot's fee of $35.00 was worth it to us to Kay and compare for a $22k project. We came in at 6:30 PM and asked for a lady to assist us. She came and briefly talked and walked away without saying a word. I asked another lady and she started to answer my question, suddenly walk away to help this other couple. My wife and I stood for about 45 minutes while the First Lady that talked to us just sat at her desk, totally ignored me as you can see in the picture while the other person was talking to the other couple that came after us. Very poor service, maybe it was because I was talking Spanish to my wife. Just because we looked different does not mean that we are different. They need to rain their employees in better customer service and a bit more courteous. I'll take my money somewhere else that I'm welcomed and appreciated. read more

I don't have a truck so I wasn't sure if I could wedge them into my car or not. I strategically parked by the exit where you take delivery of larger items like lumber and I asked if I could take this $2.98 2x4 to my car that was less than 50 feet away to see if it would fit. You would've thought I demanded their wallets! They looked at each other for awhile and then I was asked "now where's your car?" I said 50 feet straight ahead!
