ook money out of my account for a rental, then because of an issue on their end it's showing pending on their end even though it's pulled 100% from my bank account. So now I'm out $300 with no rental, Mero the assistant manager didn't even offer any solutions or help with this issue. Horrible customer service. My company spends about $150k-$200k annually at this location on materials and tools, and approximately $20k-25k on rentals annually. Not sure how I feel about coming back to this location. I would give zero stars if I could. If you need hardware or other basic items, this is the place to go- but they should really stick to what they are good at. Windows and other items that they offer installations on... well, that's another story. Call someone else. Literally anyone else if you want items installed correctly and in a timely fashion. If you prefer your quoted 3 day install to take 3 months and have unprofessional people tromping around your house, then this is the place for you! read more

This place does NOT appreciate its customers! And it certainly does NOT appreciate Military Veterans. No longer stock ANY fluorescent lighting, of any kind. All these products have been replaced with more expensive, less reliable LED made in china garbage. I called this store # 4739 to talk with a Kitchen designer. I wanted to set up a kitchen measurement. When you call the main number. You get an automated system that will only let you ask two things: product availability, what's your order status... No live person will help you unless you sit on the phone and wait for the system to badger you on the two questions it allows for several loops. Finally get someone and they transfer you to the wrong department. This person goes to transfer you and disconnects the call. I had to start all over again with the process. I finally get to talk with a kitchen designer who name was Page. I felt like she was rude and couldn't hardly hear her with some guy talking around her. read more

Since we were headed to Tri Cities anyway decided to stop and see if they did. We had no less than 4 people ask if we needed any help. They actually walked me to where they were. Best Home Depot in the Tri Cities. There is an older gent there, I haven't caught his name yet, but he is awesome. He helps me find stuff quickly, has helped me figure out stuff I need for particular projects, and he doesn't try to convince me to buy the most expensive brand. Several times he has told me how lesser priced items will work just as well. He works hard to get people what they need an I respect that. Only giving 2 stars because the woman I spoke with in the phone did her best to be helpful. I placed an order for paving stones and garden soil to be delivered on a Saturday. The timeframe they provide is 6 am to 8 pm. Husband and I hung around the house all day Saturday waiting for the delivery (they call 30 minutes prior to delivery and someone has to be home) and had heard nothing by 4 pm. I got online to check the status to found out my order had been cancelled. I received no notification from Home Depot on this so I was furious for having wasted an entire day of my weekend waiting for a delivery that was not coming. I placed the order a second time and scheduled for the following Friday. My husband took time off of work to stay home and wait for the delivery. I get a phone call Thursday night at 9:00 saying my delivery has been postponed to Saturday. Bless the womans heart that I called on Friday morning. She apologized for the setback saying the truck was overloaded and had to make a run to La Grande (hours from my home) so no chance I would receive the order on Friday. She offered to refund my delivery fee (which was amazing) and said that my house was first on the list of deliveries on Saturday morning, so probably delivered by 7:00. Its Saturday now, 9:15 and I still have yet to receive a phone call from the driver. I called to verify my order was still active and that delivery was scheduled. The nice lady said that the truck was being loaded (this was at 7:15 this morning). I hate to say, but if this order doesn't show up soon, I'm going to lose my cool and probably cancel the order. Good customer service is priceless and the last couple of weeks I have been somewhat disappointed with Home Depot. The girls in store did their best to be helpful, but the drivers could maybe use some talking to. Even the gentleman I spoke with after I found out my order was unexpectedly cancelled the first time did not seem the least bit bothered by it. Not even an "I'm sorry this happened to you" or anything. I'm waiting to see if I am actually going to get the delivery refund. I will update if it doesn't happen. Overall, a very frustrating experience and we've wasted a huge amount of time just waiting around for a delivery guy. read more

Spent $3600 in the Kennewick Home Depot on a Samsung washing machine/dryer and Samsung refrigerator. On the day of delivery, delivery man proceeded to break off a screw in the rear housing of the dryer, while attempting to connect the unit's power supply using a powered Phillips screwdriver, rendering it useless. The delivery man calls Samsung looking for a resolution to the problem. I didn't feel it was Samsung's responsibility at this juncture, but who am I to argue? I just wanted it fixed. Samsung takes my info and tells me it'll take 24-72 BUSINESS hours for maintenance guy/gal to contact me with a date/time that they'll be out to fix it. As expected, no call back after 72hrs. I called Samsung back only to be told that the service request had been denied, but they'll set me up with an "installation check." I stated that I didn't need or want an installation check. The problem would require a maintenance tech. The rep for Samsung, while repeatedly apologetic, stated, "it's the best I can do." I told them I'd call Home Depot (who I feel is responsible at this point, anyways). I, unfortunately, talked with an assistant manager named Gina who repeated EXACTLY what Samsung had told me, "installation check coming in a few days and those guys (delivery guys...not technicians) would evaluate the situation (not fix it) and reach out to Samsung for a plan of resolution." Wait, isn't that what the initial delivery guy did after snapping the screw off???? Regardless of this fact, Gina stated it was the best Home Depot could do for me. When I angrily stated it's far from the best that she and Home Depot could do, she promptly HUNG UP on me. Yep, not much in the way of customer service after they have my $3600, I guess. I called back to talk to the store manager, Brian Presley, who's response to Gina's hanging up on me was, "Are you sure she hung up on you?" Really, Brian??...SMH. Brian PROMISES to look into the situation and PROMISES a returned call by the end of the day (at my behest). Guess who didn't call me yesterday??? I guess customer satisfaction is not a priority for Brian, Gina or maybe Home Depot in general. One thing IS absolutely certain, I'll never do business with Home Depot...EVER...again. I'll do my best to spread the word of my treatment. And, I would advise anybody reading this to learn from my mistake. You'd be better served to do your business elsewhere. read more

We ordered custom French doors with privacy glass over a month ago. They came in and we had them delivered from the store to our house as it is obviously huge. Got it. Didn't get to unpack from plastic and pallet till the weekend and came to find our "privacy glass" was all just white spray paint that looks like someone forgot to plastic over the windows and nowhere to peel off etc. additionally the top of the door is dinged up. Which we could have dealt with with some paint...but ya the windows....it's CrAzy. So my husband called two or three times yesterday and left messages. No call backs. Today I called and he said he would find solution. 6 hours later still nothing. Meanwhile. I need office doors....will never be shopping there again. Seriously it's one thing if there is a mess up or over sight but to not promptly make it right is seriously maddening....will be asking for a refund and going elsewhere. read more

I generally like this store, but twice last month I really needed help selecting the correct items for a toilet repair. I searched unsuccessfully for a customer service person and finally just left after getting no help. Later on I returned to the store to try to get assistance again and somebody from the customer service counter even called for someone to meet me there, but nobody ever did. Bottom line is I ended up purchasing two items, of which only one was correct. I could have saved a trip and then purchase the right repair items if someone would have helped me. read more

Needed two cans of paint. Both employees seemed stressed and not helpful at all. Not only were they not helpful, they made us feel stupid by not knowing what paint we wanted. They said "we only recommend high quality paint" when we said we didn't want expensive paint for this particular project. Ended up just leaving the paint area. Working our way towards the exit, we heard the store was closing in 8 minutes. Started to head that direction and another employee wouldn't let us go anywhere but out. So let me tell you how the Home Depot treats a veteran on Veteran's Day. I went in there to buy some weather proofing for my house. I found what I wanted fairly easy enough. It seemed like the employees were in a hurry, but I just let that go. When I went to check out, I asked for the military discount that they offer. It's only 10% so it's not that big a deal, however what happened next was a very big deal. The person checking me out knew me. She knew that I was a veteran since she has known me for several years. I've never had a problem getting a military discount here before, but I was told that I would have to provide proof that I was a service member. I would understand that if they didn't know me or they had never giving me the discount at the store. I was told that without proof how did they know that I was a veteran. Considering I put 10 years in as a combat medic that was pretty insulting. To add insult to injury, I was wearing my military hat. Because of this insult, I will never go to the Home Depot again, and I will tell all my friends and family how I was treated. Veterans are part of the brotherhood. So I encourage all of my veteran brothers and sisters to seek your hardware and miscellaneous items elsewhere. This Home Depot will not treat you very well. We didn't serve our country to be treated like this. read more

Home Depot's rebate program is garbage. I've waited 4 months for a rebate, having to email, call, and chat online to find out what the problem is. I think they like doing rebates because the majority of their customers either don't send in the rebates or don't follow up on them...and then who wins? Home Depot! This review is not geared toward any employees at Home Depot, because they are all wonderful, helpful and friendly people. This is strictly about the company that Home Depot chooses to do their carpet installs. Carpet Pros. Our carpet was installed by 1 man and was a lengthy process after waiting weeks for the install. After that, the carpet was cut too short and is pulling away and fraying at the point it meets our hardwoods. We complied to Home Depot's requirements to keep our warranty valid. They sent us to Carpet Pros to schedule a carpet restretch only to be told they only do restretch appointment before 1 and no weekends. She told me people usually schedule around them. In my opinion, that's an unreasonable time frame. The woman whom I spoke with 3 different times was rude and unapologetic about it. Now, I will have to pay another company to come out and repair what was their problem to begin with. Thanks Home Depot! Never again will I order carpet from Home Depot and will make me rethink any future purchases with Home Depot that come with warrantys. read more

The Kennewick Stores is still the same and that is good. What I have not seen before and experienced recently was a new policy for me at least. I purchased about $86.00 worth of items for a project I wanted to complete. I found a better way to accomplish this project and returned all of the items unused within 5 days. I had my purchase of $86.00 reduced by about $15.00. On the initial receipt was a new term I had not seen before it was "maximum refund allowable" and reduced every item. It is on me not to have noticed this but it in my mind is a restocking fee. Guess I will have to find another hardware store that does not have such a policy. G. read more

I purchased a 7.5 ft umbrella on Sat. 4/29/17 and they told me they would take down the display item, since they were out of stock on color I wanted. The manager that day said it would be ready on Sun. 4/30/17 and they would call me when it was ready to pick up. On Wed. 5/3/17 my wife stopped by store to pick up, since no one ever called us and she was told they would get it down and call us. On Sat. 5/6/17 I stopped by and they still had not gotten it down, I told same clerk I bought it from a week before to refund my money, and asked to talk to manager, Dan came up and I told him how unhappy I was, and that the previous year we spent over $ 10,000.00 at the store and that I would not very happy about service, and he just seemed like I was wasting his time, so I got my money back and went elsewhere to purchase another umbrella. read more
