The online paperwork has legal mumbo jumbo that says they don't take insurance and you are responsible. I sent the form and it was returned. Called my insurance and was told they are out of network and I will not reimbursed. Called the eye doctor they say they are not responsible because I signed an unclear agreement. Staff is usually friendly & knowledgeable about products & placement or products. Store is always clean and well stocked. Selection or products are always changing and produce a verity. They provide regular checkout & "self checkout" , For the "self checkout" it feels like they are hovering over you and start take your products out and scanning it evening when your not ready. If it's indeed self check out give customers some space unless help is requested. Makes me feel rushed & helicoptered. *today tried the cookie that replaced the churro. Clearly this small original store, that is nearly 40 years old, has long been outgrown by the tri cities, when at 10 am on a Wednesday every single parking spot is full and there are more than 40 cars blocking the parking lot lanes waiting for spots to open up, meanwhile both of the "parking security" cars are hiding in the back corner of the employee parking lot. Ok...I recommend Costco because it's the only membership warehouse in the area. On the plus side, Everyone who works there that I have encountered has been incredibly nice and efficient. I've always been a Sam's club girl but that's not an option in Tri Cities. On the downside, This place is always. 7/10 busy MINIMUM. I have never experienced anything like it where I lived before. They have a good selection of items usually unless you want one of those damn $5 rotisserie chickens! I swear to you in the eight months I've lived here. I've only been able to get rotisserie chickens twice. Both times were when I arrived pretty close to when they opened. I have been there later in the day and seen a line of people waiting for chickens with somewhere in the ballpark of 12 to 15 people waiting in line. Unreal. Overall, I think they are higher priced than Sam's Club. Also be aware that if you order online for delivery, they put a hold on your account for the amount and then charge you for the amount so you are basically paying double until the "hold" or "pre authorization as they call it, drops off. I also wish they would do the scan app like Sam's Club or the click and pull option so you can order your stuff and just show up to the club to pick it up. read more

People don't get what they order as well. Searspartsdirect, innovel solutions, are not registered with the BBB. Federal Trade Commission should be involved with this. I ordered an LG Washer Dryer and a Bosh Dishwasher online. Scheduled both on the website to be delivered tomorrow, a few weeks ago. Looked on the website after a bunch of confusing emails saying the delivery was scheduled and also canceled. The customer service agent I had to call tells me that the washer and dryer hadn't shipped and couldn't be delivered for 8 days. Now, as I got rid of the washer and dryer I had, my family has to go without clean clothes for a week. The rep can't even confirm if that date will hold. Firstly, I get the cold brew mocha from the deli. Then I walk around to my heart's content to find what our family needs and desires. We get our car insurance through Costco also, which isn't only affordable and protecting, they offer June and December coverage without cost. Perfect bit of savings for a summer trip or Christmas presents. I like to arrive either at opening or near closing, as everything in between those times are likely to put me into a panic attack. It'll be nice to see if there's a visual difference when the second Costco in Pasco will open, but in the meantime, I caution myself to early and late shopping times. Or 24 of the one item that brought you in to begin with? Bulk. Quality bulk. Does anyone actually walk in here and buy just what's on your list and not one thing more? Not me. And, let's be honest. How many of us have had a meal of two on those days with free samples? If you wander around, you can have a three course meal with drinks by the time you've sampled everything. I purchased Kirkland brand bacon bits. When I opened a bag there was a rat turd right on top of the bacon bits. I called and talked to the manager and was told that he would pull the bacon bits immediately. I went in this morning to show him the rat feces and was told this is the third bag that they've had returned. and they also had the same issue a couple months ago. The only thing that Costco would do is give me my $8 back for the bacon bits and they did not pull them off the shelf. People are still buying them. When I talked to the store manager and showed him the feces he asked me if I wanted another bag or my money back. Duh, I'll never buy them again. I honestly don't think that I've had more of a horrible experience in any kind of store in the 30+ years I have been shopping. The cashier and the assistant was by far the icing on the cake. When you go up to somebody's grocery cart, you shouldn't automatically assume that all the items in the two carts that they had were all one transaction. Then toss the item back into the cart and not say a word to the customer and walk away. I understand it is the holidays and everything gets kind of crowded. But there is no need to employees treat you like you are second and you should be privileged to shop there. As I'm trying to pay for everything, I gave her the wrong credit card. Then she announced in a high tone. That we do not take that credit card and you will have to give us another form of payment. Embarrassed, and now in full panic mode I finally gave her the right one. I was trying to get her to slow down so I can watch the prices on the register. When I started walking out with my receipt, I noticed there was two items on there that were out of my price range. When I was looking at the item I didn't notice any other price than the $11.99 that was suggested above the bin. and trying to find somebody tonight that works there. It was pretty hard when you don't go there on a regular basis. If nobody knows everyone as a Costco employee is allowed to wear regular clothing. This means that if you are trying to look for somebody in a Costco uniform, you are not going to find them. All they have is a name tag on. So as I was trying to check out and being pushed through the line like some conveyor belt and shoved out the door. I Notice the extravagant price that they had on the item. So as I'm walking out the door, I stopped and showed the older gentleman that was checking the receipts.and that I had an issue even though he was nice.. it was how they said about "taking the item off" , like you were talking to some rich, extravagant, jackass you not having that money to purchase that item and you were beneath them. So he told me to go back over to the customer service and they can take that off. So that's exactly what I did as I stood there. Waiting for me to be called so they can help me take the two items that were over $60 off my receipt. And the woman that was standing there telling me what a fantastic deal it was and they weren't going to find it anywhere else. I tried to explain to her that there was no sign posted on how much it was, and all she could say is hmmm.... that's weird anyway that is a really good price that you're gonna get and you're not gonna get it anywhere else!.. I explained to her that I could not find anybody to tell me the exact price. And when I went to go pay for my items I was shoved through and pushed out so fast they didn't give me time to even ask the question. When the price came out to $333.62 I was so embarrassed. I just gave them my credit card. I honestly don't think I will ever go back to the one in Tri-Cities ever again. I don't care how much money you make an hour. I don't care if your company sits there and pays you to walk around and give out these pieces of candy to your snob of employees! And then being shoved through the check outline and pushed out like some cattle to a butcher factory. It just amazes me that there were so many people standing there trying to help one another (employees), but when it comes to helping a customer We were like beneath them, and how dare you not have enough money to pay for for this! And just an fyi... for anyone shopping online with Costco you pay anywhere between 2 to 3 dollars extra for each item! it's not worth it. It's not worth the time energy or effort to go all the way there to Shop and try to get a good deal. All you have to do is just go to Safeway or Albertsons or Walmart and get the exact same thing or even cheaper. And at least there you don't have to worry about employees treating you like utter crap! And if you do need help, all they have to do is stop and help you. And it doesn't matter how many items you have "big bulky items do look like a lot of items, but they're not" they'll let you go through the self check out so you can check yourself out because you have anxiety problems! The employees have always been friendly and nice, and offer fabulous customer service, which is the reason for the 5-stars. Anyone who already ships at Costco already knows about their products and product selection. I've been to plenty of other locations that have had awful customer service. This place is not one of them. I would remove one-star for how busy they are. I looked up the mask policy for Costco before shopping in store and was reassured that employees and most shoppers would wear face mask, however, in the store this was not the case. One couple blatently walked around with no mask, intentionally getting close to other shoppers, walked past employees and were not confronted. I went an hour before closing as Goggle showed this was a less busy time and even employees had their masks around their necks, uncovered noses and also walking in shoppers personal spaces. I felt unsafe. I take CDC precautions seriously and did my research but Costco failed me. I also did not see any additional hand sanitizer out for a customer use given that employees weren't respecting the mask policy. I tried to contact customer service and email Costco however due to high demand they removed services and phone numbers and are not accessible anymore. My hope with this review is that the Costco will enforce CDC policies in regards to face coverings, and if that is not possible please update your online site to make most shopping items easily available for high-risk people that cannot make it inside your store. I always give Costco stars five, I love their prices and quality. But this is people's lives and they shouldn't have to risk them for good prices and quality. read more

Whenever you go, the store will be busy! Whatever you want, they will have a version of it that is a great value. We went to Costco right as it opened on Black Friday. It was already full of people. We completed all our Christmas shopping and checked out before the masses had made their decisions. We didn't have a snack as we left. We didn't eat lunch on the free samples. This is the best place to purchase food, drinks, wine, cars, kitchen remodels, vacations and jewelry. I'm sure there are a lot of other things that are also great deals. Why did I pay $50 for a membership to this place again? I am overall unimpressed. I figured it would be great since it's really close to home and I buy some things in bulk. Just about every mission there has been a dud so far. First of all, the place has been crazy busy every time I have gone. People just wandering around the parking lot not paying attention waiting to get turned into a road pizza. Sunday afternoon is the worst, they seem to be extra angry and ready to road rage driving around the parking lot. Thought that Sunday worship was supposed to be uplifting or something. I walk in, show my card, and start my adventure. All the office/home/garage stuff to the right of the store has the same problem all the crap on the left of the store has - its just seems like randomness and not all that great at that. I did score a mat to protect my rug from the computer chair, and then saw the same thing for the same price at officemax. I was going to buy some chicken breasts in bulk, but they were the exact same cost per pound as Winco, and they were packaged in a ton of extra plastic. no thanks. Came back another day for some food and toilet paper. Once again, same problem as before, just a bunch of random stuff. Thankfully they had the kind of toilet paper I like. Too bad it was $2 cheaper at Target for the same brand/quantity. I looked at all the frozen foods, and its mostly large bulk quantities of highly processed crap food. Maybe Id like it if I had a family of eight that liked corn dogs, TV dinners and fish sticks. The produce seems ok but I haven't tried it yet. I hear the pharmacy has some great deals but my insurance covers that, and I don't need to buy meds anyways. On the way out the cashout is fairly painless. The little food court seems to always have a line though. Speaking of lines, you have to wait in line to leave, because they have one dude checking everyone's cart as they leave.
