On 01/16/2026 I walked in the store and immediately I was greeted by the lady at the Customer Service counter (my apologies, did not get her name) but she was amazing from the time I walked in to the time I left. As I walked past her counter, I am trying to figure out which isle i needed to go to get my items, when a man (Mr. James) ask if "you needed assistance), I did not believe he was speaking to me but HE WAS! Shocked to say the least. I informed him what I needed and he took me right to the location. I told him to just point and I will find it and he refused and walked me to the isle, lol. (#Shocking). The I asked where another item could be and I again asked to point because it was not his location, HE REFUSED AGAIN and walked me to the item I needed. This occurred three times. I asked for his manager because clearly he needed to know that he had an amazing employee. Mr. James came to the isle as well to assist because that was his area. Shortly after the manager, Mr. John came and he was so amazing and soooo professional. I informed him of this amazing experience at the store with his employees but he was just like them, very professional, ect. For the last five years since purchasing my home, I go to Home Depos very often (Clayton County) AND I HAVE NEVERRRRRRRR seen such caring, professional. Antonio you as well! This location has been here for a number of years and the service has consistently been exceptional . The employees are helpful and informative. The information flows from one department to the next. You get the same information throughout the store. I purchased a roll of pine straw for a family member and waited about 5 - 7 minutes for someone to meet me at the trailer to pick it up. The rest of the buying process was seamless. Their prices are on target for the industry and products they sell. Their selection is plentiful. The parking lot is huge and clean for the most part. There are always a lot of carts in the parking lot. They're in the cart carousels, but there are always carts in them. I check out in the garden center most times; it's a shorter line. read more

Horrible customer service and very unorganized , Don't return calls when you have questions or concerns about complaints . I had a door install ... I would not recommend at all , the wood between one of my doors cut ... Second door will not even lock ... Defeats the purpose ... Called several times no return call from Install department . Stopped in today to get a Christmas tree and wood. The two different associates who helped us today were so friendly and helpful and made our experience so easy! I don't remember the name of the first guy that helped us find the Christmas tree, but thank you for looking up the product and walking us over to it! We did also get help from Antonio with some wood pieces that needed to be selected and cut, he was extremely patient and helpful. We truly had a great experience at this location :) read more

This review is about Home Depot Conyers Georgia: Be careful about buying something from Home Depot and relying on them (or whomever they choose) to install it. I have always thought that it is better to not have Home Depot install anything that you buy from them because you could probably always find someone to do a better job on that installation and certainly for less money. However, I bought a storm door from them for one of my rental units and I decided to try them out for the installation of it. They installed it in record breaking time (probably 30 minutes or so). The installation was good except that they made some black marks on the inner door which was white and had relatively recently been painted. I went to Home Depot and showed them pictures of the damaged inner door and spoke with Denise Lesett (a manager) and showed her the pictures and she said that someone would be contacting me soon. That was in August . No one has contacted me yet and I am writing this review in 0ctober. Please be very careful about letting Home Depot do any installation for you. read more

After treating a VETERAN with disrespect. Never coming back to this location again. Worth the read. Disgusting. My father didn't know that home depot had a Military discount like Lowes. He found out on his second trip (while fixing the water heater), needing some PVC pipes. So a vet was infront of us in line who got the discount. He asked the cashier if he can bring back the water heater receipt he just bought the day before to get the discount. She said yes, just has to be refunded at customer service. So we go to customer service. The rude lady asks him for his Military ID (which he shows everyone that offers a discount and NEVER ONCE had an issue). So she said to him that they cannot accept it. That it's not one of the ID's on a list that she showed him of images. First of all that's UNBELIEVABLE to me. You're denying a Veteran's legitamate identification in which he got from the government? COMPLETELY unacceptable. We should have called a manager over, we normally would have, but I guess we were too shocked to believe it probably. So as he's looking over the list she shows of ACCEPTABLE ID's. He finds another he has, his government work ID. That was accepted OVER a Veteran ID. Let me point something out here, YOU DO NOT have to be a VETERAN to work for the government, so the fact that she accepted that over a LEGIT veteran ID and gave him a hard time about this. So, Home Depot is giving away the discount to many others with that ID over a Military/Veteran discount. I will definitely be reporting someone higher regarding this. Again, COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. I can't believe I don't have this girls name or else I would be listing it. Believe me, I will be notifying somebody higher regarding this. read more

I purchased a 0 turn lawn mower and was scheduled to have it delivered 2 days later. You have to pay extra for a delivery time frame. I opted to not pay because it was my off day and I was going to be home anyway. At approximately 4:30 pm on delivery day, I decided to call to confirm the delivery. I was told it would not be there as planned, it would be there the next day between 6am and 8pm. That meant I would have to cancel all of my appointments at work and stay home again. I decided to cancel my order and I'm taking my business to Lowes. The store associate Mike was very courteous with me on the phone and took his time to try to make the situation suitable. I know that most places are short staffed, but it only takes a second to make a phone call. I will not spend my money where it is not appreciated. read more

Decided to remodel my living room and get my floors done through The Home Depot.... big mistake. First they came out did the estimate and that went fine, ordered the flooring and it took a little over a month to get the delivery for the floors because of back order. Then the delivery went all wrong with no communication with when it was going to be delivered then they said it was delivered and it wasn't and they couldn't figure out where it was. Smh! My floors finally got done but the quarter round that was delivered was messed up so the installers re ordered it and Home Depot is yet again dragging their feet with the replacement quarter round. It's been 2 months and my floors aren't complete and it's not the installers fault they did wonderfully. Home Depot wants me to pay my bill on time but can't get my floors done in a timely fashion! read more

Hope Depot is gReat in general. I've frequented this store a few times. It's generally been a good experience each time I come. A few things to note for contractors or people looking to do some big jobs: rental of equipment, trucks is very convenient here. Truck rentals are by the hour, so be efficient if you're on a budget. Prices are good for tools and the returns process for any excess parts you may by is extremely convenient and easy. Thank you Home Depot for being here and doing what you do. Yay! We were standing for almost an hour waiting to have our keys correctly made after the self-key maker kiosk got them wrong. I am totally dissatisfied with the online purchasing. You can't stop an order 1 hr after placing because they said on the website delivered by Friday but get an email for 10 days later. 14 hrs later I receive email my order has shipped. Yet they couldn't cancel the order 14 hrs earlier. Will never use the online system with home depot. If not in the store, go to lowes read more

If shopping for paint DO NOT go to Home Depot! The best option is Lowe's. If you don't like the color you bought when you get home TO BAD your stuck!!! I purchased 5 gallons of paint from Home Depot to start working on my house. BEHR Marquee was the brand of choice considering it had a one coat coverage guarantee, plus Home Depot said they stand behind the quality of their Paint. Needless to say this was their most expensive paint. The associate helped us pick the color we wanted, got the tools we needed for the job and we were off. After getting home and painting the first wall we realized the grey we wanted went onto the wall as a light blue. To top it off the one coat coverage guarantee was a sham! We needed to double the coverage because of spotty application. We immediately went back to Home Depot and explained that not only does the coverage not go on in one coat. But the color is not want we expected. Home Depot told us there is nothing we can do, we cannot exchange mixed paint! Long story short buy paint from Lowe's!!! . Normally the service at Home Depot is decent but from a recent trip I can say that the customer server is great, maybe even to great. My family and I were getting a Christmas tree and we had said before that we didn't need a net just a trim since we had parked close to the store. Instead of skipping the net and just trimming it the worker there insisted that we needed a net and that it would help a lot. When we reassured him that it wasn't necessary we were ignored and he continued to add a net on the tree. After checking out I was getting ready to pick up the tree and put it in my truck. Another worker came up to me and asked if I needed any help. I declined the offer as it was a short walk to the truck and I could manage. He didn't take no as an answer and continued to walk with me to the truck. He wasn't holding anything just walking by my side.. then when I put the tree in the truck he continued to stay by and watch. Finally he walked back to the store. The tree was great and the customer service was good too. A little pushy to my liking but overall it was nice. Out of 10 stars I'd say it was a 8.5. read more

They do not honor return policy for big ticket items. It's unfortunate if you buy from them instead of swapping things out if NEW item does not work they reject return and tell you to contact the company. I have worked in retail and I know all they have to do is return item to the vendor and exchange which they need to extend this common courtesy to their loyal consumers. SO I WOULD not purchase from them use a competitor. Even if they have it lower take add and they will price match. You can't say you were not warned about their policy. read more

Paid for granite and backsplash installation along with purchasing new whirlpool stove and dishwasher. The service after paying in full was terrible. Oh, also purchased a under the counter sink. Everything was purchased on 27 November and initially wanted everything installed by December 17. I was assured that the installation would happen, then I started to get contacted by the different vendors HD use with dates as late as 30 December. So I contacted HD back and the run around began. BLUF - I contacted the vendors myself and got the appliances date changed to 12 December and countertops to 14 December and HD said the backsplash vendor won't comply, but that's HD fault because they didn't try until I kept calling them requesting them to meet the timeframe requested at the time of purchase. We wanted to do our master bath but not with HD after this treatment. read more

Sales people not very helpful. Visited this location twice when Lowes was out of a particular item I we were looking for. Each time we got the same type of service...MEH. Sales people leaving customers to fend for themselves, no carry-out help, unfriendly cashiers who could care less. Some friendly employees others are very rude and unfriendly.... asked an employee about specific lightbulb and he acted like he didn't want to be bothered or that I was interrupting him from doing something more important and this was his department!! then I took my merchandise to a woman up front asked her does she do returns only and she was like oh you need a cashier but I'll do it anyway.... um you're not busy and you have an orange vest on and you're standing at a cash register... that would be called doing your job not doing me a favor...but one young lady was awesome actually took time to provide customer service and assistance... so like most places it's a mixed bag in terms of employees...But seems to have a good selection of merchandise read more

I brought a Whirlpool top-loading washer. got the washer home, the service people turn it on, they left, no clothes in the washer. The washer finished. There is just the two of us, so I waited till we had a load of clothes to wash. 4 days later, the washer makes a loud knocking noise, walk around the floor. call home depot, the manager said to till the washer over to a 45-degree angle. I said I am 73 with a bad back, can't do that. For them to take it back, you have to call within 48 hours! never was told this !! They would send someone out. The repairman, till the washer a 45-degree angle. It still makes a loud noise, it walks a half an inches from the dryer. The repairman said there wasn't anything wrong with it. all new washer does this. There nothing I can do but keep it. So remember any appliance is 48 hours!! Never was told that! I was a loyal Lowe's shopper, then decided to try Home Depot. I always had good experiences in the store and even though Lowe's is closer, I started going to Home Depot, exclusively. I needed a new septic system and using Home Depot's home improvement loan and their recommendation to use Bynum Plumbing, I got the work done. Bynum Plumbing was horrible. They didn't pull the correct permit and put in a septic and didn't hook my guest house to it. Home Depot, who says they stand behind the work of their subcontractors, did not stand behind the work, only the subcontractor! They sided with Bynum and said they are not required to come and do the job right. So now Bynum has $7800.00 of my money and Home Depot is making their cut for me using their credit card and I need a bigger septic to hook up my guest house that I told Bynum was here. And Home Depot's reps will not even return a phone call. Looks like I'll need to seek legal help and go back to Lowe's!!! read more
