We drove from Atlanta for an open box sound bar. Defeinitely did not expect an as new item, but there wasn't even a box. Instead the subwoofer and the sound bar were taped together with packing tape. just stacked on top of other boxed item, and there were large chunks out of the subwoofer case. We had to complete the purchase and walk it across the store to the geek squad counter to return it. It may have worked just fine, but did not inspire confidence and would not want to displayed it where other people could see it.. We were told we got the full warranty with the purchase. They advised me to swap it for a new laptop. When I tried to swap out the laptop was sold out. If it wasn't for Travis at this location idk what this place would do. This man goes above and beyond for me everytime I come here. First time I needed a black ring floodlight he found me one in the back. Second time I sent a order for a echo 5 and a echo 8 both charcoal color the picker took almost two hours to not find the 8. I seen Travis said hello to him didnt expect anything from him but he got involved later and suprise suprise travis saved the day again and found the 8 in like 5 minutes. I ordered a TV for curbside pickup and have literally been standing in line since 5:40 (17:40 on the purchase receipt for a mini fridge I bought before getting in the curbside line - which is outside in the cold!). No one has come to ask my name for my order. No one had a acknowledged my presence or has tended to the line AT ALL! This is not the usual store where you browse and someone comes up to you and ask if you need help. If you need something you'll have to walk back to the front give them your name and phone number and they will alert you when they can assist you. What happened to genuine customer service ? You will not experience that here. When I finally got help the prices were not on the merchandise so the associate had to scan it , go check what he scanned and then come back and tell me the price. read more

I sold a Samsung sound bar and sub on let go. The lady couldn't get them to connect. She then took them to Best Buy and they also couldn't figure it out. It was working before I sold it and when she returned it because of Best Buy's official and professional opinion was it was broke, I was able to connect it within second. Worst Experience Ever! Let me begin this by saying I have been a best buy customer for over 15 years. Even though amazon is easy and has free shipping I chose to shop locally at my nearby store to support the brick and mortar stores. [So they do not disappear like all the other ones] Ie. Sears. I ordered a pair of beats headphones online for a store pickup; thinking it would be smooth sailing experience. I picked them up during my lunch and went back to my office. Once i returned to my office I opened the package and realized they were used and broken. So within 20-25min of purchasing, I returned to the store to ask for an exchange. [Not a refund] An exchange. Tim the manager at the time was aggressive and rude about the situation and said I wore and broke them. [Accusatory with an attitude of discrimination.] Especially sense I witnessed how he treated someone else of a different race. So within 25 min, I ran a half marathon, worked out, jumped in mud, broke them and returned with the same pair of clothing that I purchased them in. I am beyond furious that a company can not train their managers with a sense of professionalism and subjectivity to discern a proper decision based on my past loyalty which, they can search.. I'm done with best buy, closing my account and will report this experience and discrimination to the better business bureau, Georgia Department of Law, and anyone else of influence I can share this occurrence with. Went to Best Buy to get a new lightening fast cell charger. While I was there I decided to buy another screen beam. The item cost $50 and wasn't the reason why I went but I figured, what the heck you're already here. I found an employee and asked him to point me in the direction of the screen beams. At first he told me they didn't sell them anymore, I figured he was thinking of the wrong item, so I tried to explain in more detail.... The problem was that I couldn't remember the name of the item, and because my phone was dead, I couldn't look it up. So the employee who's name I later found out was Chauncey, kindly looked it up, and once he figured out what I was talking about he walked me over to the item, he picked it up and walked to me a register and wrung me up. He wasvery kind and very helpful. He even helped me pick out a charger. The best buy was clean and well staffed. read more

I recently purchased a television and washer and dryer from this location. We had set up delivery for Friday 9/24. The Television was delivered and set5 up as scheduled. we awaited the w & D .. no one called so we did and we were told that the driver had the incorrect address. Waited a few hours and we called to check on the status. I was then told that the truck had broken down and they were loading items onto another truck. We waited no delivery. I called store to speak with mngmt.. store doesn't take calls so I'm speaking to someone in Panama who said they must schedule a call back from the store for 24-48 hours. Received no call, called again on Saturday rep says the same thing and schedules a call back... no call. Called Monday 9/27.. same scenario ... no call back... It is now wed. 9/29 And we have heard nothing from Best Buy. I have had a Card with them for about 7 years .. this will be the last time it will be used. I should have gone elsewhere with my business. The lack of customer service and communication has shown me that this is not the place to support. Management has completely dropped the ball on this one. If you can, stay clear of Best buy. They will give you the run around. read more

Awful Experience. My wife bought me refurbished beats headphones that were $171 for my birthday. The right side completely didn't work and it didn't come with the soft earbud connectors (which I didn't mind buying more). We go to the store and to make a long story short, the employee and manager said they couldn't do anything because the serial number didn't match. They were acting like it was my fault that the refurbished headphone serial number wasn't right. They didn't help and weren't nice one bit. This Best Buy is the absolute worst in costumer service!!!!!!!! I waited for Brian at the front to unlock the case to buy a Fitbit Sense after I waited in line to speak to him. He said he was going to be right with me. 20 minutes later he was still helping people coming in the door and goofing off with someone at the front with him. So I walked out. Another time I went in to buy a iPad and didn't know you had to sign in first. After deciding which one I wanted all I wanted was to have someone unlock the case so I can purchase it. I asked someone to help me and she said I had to go to the front to be logged in for customer service. I went up to be logged in and the wait time was 45 minutes to 1 hour. Employees were walking around not helping anyone but couldn't take 5 minutes to unlock the case for me??!! What a ridiculous way to help customers. That is 2 strikes and I will give them one more chance but if it doesn't go well I will NEVER shop there again. read more

Went to the Conyers Ga store today for a Roku device. I have an older JVC I'art TV pre HDMI. I was told directly by the sales man there was no way to use Roku with this older TV, and i just needed to buy a new TV. They had a Roku express but for HDMI hookup. Went home and did some internet research and found i need a Roku Express+ unit which Walmart next door had and Best Buy did not. Came home simple to attach and woks perfectly. I am not one to complain about a business and especially not without trying to resolve a problem with the company first but I've tried that route. I've called corporate transferred 6 times finally sent back to the store associate I had the problem with and sent two emails and no response. My problem was at the Conyers. Georgia Best Buy last Thursday. We purchase a two pack of smart bulb a couple of weeks ago and one would not work. It was the second one we tried so I hold by wife we would take the bad one back and have then exchange it. When going to customer care the associate said we would have to bring back both bulbs to exchange. I tried to explain to her one worked, it was already programmed and we live in the next town. She said there was nothing she could do. I ask for a manager and was informed the manager was not in. I ask to see the MOD and an associate by the name of Tim cane out. He walked right by us, never spoke, went behind the counter and ask the associate was was wrong turned to us and said we can't do anything without the second bulb. I went through the same with him and he said call the manufacturer! At this point I was very upset and told him I didn't buy it from the manufacturer. At this point is when it really made me mad. He was literally laughing in my face and had a big smirk on his face. He continued to laugh and smirk. I retired after 37 years as a manager of one of the largest retailer in the US. I now own my own retail business and this associate (Tim) upset me worse than anyone has Ever done before. He laughed and smirked at me during the entire transaction. He absolutely needs additional training. No customer should ever be laughed st when the are upset. Also, after asked meg for the corporate number and calling in front of him, my wife went picked up a package, brought it to customer care, ask why can't we just take a good one out of here. He said I can do that. I said that what I ask for from the beginning. He said no you didn't. I said so now I'm a lier? He said I guess so you never said that. At this point I left! I can't believe as loyal of a customer as I've been no one will take care of my problem. I offers him my Best Buy credit card but took it back not knowing what he would do with it. This specific location was interesting. Sometimes you have great customer service and other times it is lacking. I hope they improve the quality of their hires to focus on employees that can better serve customers on items they are looking for and product knowledge.
