I shop this Home Depot several times a year for some of our Gardening Supplies and most of our Home Improvement item needs. Terrible customer service! Me and my husband purchased refrigerator for 3000$ on September 1 . It's been almost a month since they promised deliver and install it ! They keep saying tomorrow... tomorrow.... Since September 8 ! Unprofessional! Home Depot delivery service is a scam ! They rude and mean ! I will never buy anything from them again! The lies to the customer! I have a little baby girl at home and they made her cry one day ! Also because of them I ve lost a lot off food taking food out back and forth 6 times ! I cannot wait to go to Home Depot. Im a new homeowner, so naturally I am going to need new things to fix it up how I want. In short, this is a fantastic Home Depot location. I not only come here for household items, I also get sandbags every year to put in my pickup truck. Since the 60lb bags were on a higher shelf, I asked for help. They came right over and did it no problem. Definitely friendly staff and customer service oriented. When I went to buy a garbage can, I never thought to go check the Garden Center. So I asked for help and the lady even walked me over to where they had them. Again, great and friendly staff. Now, I've been here a handful of times for one thing or another. The experience is always the same from coming in to the cashier checking out my items. The store is as clean as it can be. It is a huge warehouse after all. I do like when they have an aisle blocked off, they put across the barrier. Some places will use a cone and expect you to know what that means. Overall, I love this place. I can't wait to go back...and I'm sure I will be! read more

I have visited this Home Depot for materials related to relatively small projects. I have not done any major home renovation project. With this knowledge of my requirements, I have found this store to be very well stocked, organized and with employees available to answer any questions that I might have. It is nice to find employees generally available to answer questions or simply guide me to the proper aisle where the item I seek resides. It is noticeable that at the times I visited, this Home Depot has not been overburdened by clients. It is easy to navigate and relatively uncrowded. I have not visited on a weekend. This is very highly contrasted to NYC regionally located stores and I was not prepared to encounter such a stress free experience. Enjoy it while you can !! read more

Possibly the best customer service ever. We had bought three appliances, one which arrived damaged and 2 that weren't the right size. We went back and spoke to the dept manager, Kathy, and she arranged for 3 new appliances to be delivered and the wrong ones picked up. She spent a long time on the phone with the company responsible and finally won through. Thanks Kathy. Service above and beyond! And Carl went out of his way to research the correct machines for the dimensions we require. Again above and beyond. They will have all my busines from now on. I must say starting any large home project is intimidating, but once again Home Depot has come through like a champ! We had our entire lower level carpeted and the job from start (selecting carpet, pad asking Liz and Rich a Million questions) to finish (install) took less than three weeks. AMAZING RESULTS!!! While every one was extremely helpful and patient Liz really was my go to girl and she was awesome telling me my options when we decided to upgrade the pad, and then mailing me extra copies of my receipt. She spent so much time and effort making sure we were completely happy with our order and we are 100%. The installation team was prompt, courteous, and did excellent work. They installed on a challenging surface and it looks perfect. I went over it in detail and it is perfect for all intent and purposes. Happy, happy happy! This is a good Home Depot. There is a huge parking lot, it's clean and the workers seem friendly most of the time. I think the prices here are pretty good compared to other places. I got some plants here that were cheaper than any other place in addition they have tons of options of seeds. I'm always disappointed in the re stocking of those but I understand since everyone wants to plant in the spring. The self check out machines are a little hard here luckily someone is always there to help. There is no volume so for my mom who has a hard time seeing, when she can't hear either it throws her off. I'm so disappointed in the service here. Contacted them 6 weeks ago for a fence installation. They subcontract those jobs out and we got a decent quote, and a good time frame for the install. That day comes.... and goes without them showing. Finally after a number of attempts to contact them, the owner comes back with they had truck issues. Of course it took 7 hours for them to get back to me. So, rescheduled. Guess what! No show again. Owner's phone mailbox is full so can't leave a message. Home Depot? They can't contact the subcontracted company either. Don't know when they will ever get here The good news? They have seriously discounted the cost. But that's no good if they never show up. I don't know why I continue to shop here. The staff has ignored me completely (while I was trying to lift a lawn mower from a shelf and onto a cart and I was once told "this isn't my department, I can't help you." Lowe's is about a mile away with competitive prices, you would think mamangement would expect the staff to provide better customer service. read more

Shopping on Easter Sunday more help than anyone could ever hope for!! This Home Depot is further from my home than the Clay one. But I prefer this one. There is always someone ready and willing to help and for some reason the staff here seem better informed about the areas they work in...and they also seem more eager to help. Shopping today I pushed the need help button in the plumbing isle and with in seconds there were three sales people there to help the guided me to another isle where I found what I was looking for and the associate that was working in that area went above and beyond to get me fixed up with just what I needed even giving me some options. read more

Same thing happened to us tried to get chain link fence installed since the end of June. Was told by the subcontractor that it would be the first week in August. Then August 8th he sent me an email stating that it would be installed on September 11th and he did not call or show up. Tried calling the subcontractor numerous times he never answers his phone and he never responds to his emails. About two weeks ago he took his payment for installing the fence that we never received. I am now expecting a full refund on my credit card for a job not done. Taking my business elsewhere read more

Well,my wife ordered a new Samsung washing machine on line on their Black Friday sale. They said they could deliver and hook it up in 7 days. I thought that was a little strange that it would take so long ,but we accepted the time frame. The truck did show 7 days later. The installer said all 3 connection hoses were too short. I offered to go the the store and get the 3 longer hoses,and could he possibly come back later. He flatly said no.I called the store to possibly get another installer and they told me 6 days. I find this hard to believe that a company this big has no one installing their appliances in a timely fashion.Still going to the laundromat as we write. I give up. read more

In the last 3 years we have done a couple of big projects with the Home Depot in camillus. The first project was a kitchen remodel where we purchased the kitchen and had them use one of their installers. The installers drilled through an electric line in the wall causing a short and a small fire that was easily extinguished. Had we not been home it would have been another story. We hired a different electrical contractor on our own to fix the issue. We reported it to the Home Depot and they acted as if they could have cared less. We ordered a front entry door from them in late April. We were told that it would be installed in 4 weeks. Delay after delay has occurred and we are being told that the company that makes the door, Jenn Weld, is out of materials. The Home Depot again could care less. I will never, ever purchase anything from them again. I will be shifting all my business to Lowes. read more

Worse customer service ever. The cashier in returns gave me a hard time to return a step bit because it wasn't packaged. I went to the one in Clay, NY and they gave me no trouble to return it and understood. Will never go here again! read more
