I went to the Home Depot Customer Service Center on a Sunday to discuss a problem with getting my Tuff shed ordered. After talking to several representatives, a Home Depot representative by the name of Bernice stepped up and said she would try and help us. I informed her that I was having problems with the service from Tuff Shed online and that I needed some help. She sat us down and asked about the problem and I explained it. She called Tuff Shed customer service from Home Depot and explain the problem we were having. The Tuff Shed representative told her that she would help. After much discussion, it was all ironed out thanks to Bernice from Home Depot. Bernice was very professional, friendly, and listen to the long story that I had about the poor customer service from Tuff Shed. When we walked out of the Home Depot, Bernice had gotten it all straightened out for us from Tuff Shed. It is with employee representatives like Bernice that make this store a good place. I highly recommend this store and think Bernice for helping us.. Early Monday morning, the next day we received a call from a Tuff Shed representative and we are now getting delivery of our product. read more

I didn't have 100% of the wood there and customer service told me that they would not be able to return it. He didn't say go get the rest of the wood. He said that I should not have cut the wood. My friend told me to not use the wood due to the mold. Cutting the wood is not in their policy below. I didn't add mold to return the wood. I had receipt of purchase and my ID to verify my identity. Their policy is.... 90 Days Most merchandise can be returned within 90 days with proof of purchase to The Home Depot unless noted below. The staff was very helpful from the moment that we walked in the door. We were initially just looking to do some landscaping as a weekend project but then there were so many amazing ideas that popped into our head that we decided to go to the next level with our spring cleaning and landscaping projects. We got mulch landscaping bed linings, we even bought a new lawn mower! We found a quikrete to be exceptionally helpful in making some on-site pavers as a walkway to our shed and greenhouse. They literally had everything we could need in one trip and then of course we went back five or six more times for lots of little ideas that popped in our head. This was the service I received two weeks ago. I ordered a pair of French doors from this location, and they delivered this broken doors to me. I asked them to take the doors back and only to be told that their job was to DELIVER not insure whether the products were acceptable or not. I had to go through a series of phone calls and explanations with HomeDepot, yet I still haven't received the refund from them since they picked up the doors the very next day after the delivery. I went to the store and try to get a resolution, only to be told that the store manager was not available. I called and called again. Their supervisor Caroline was not willing to talk to me, so she sent her assistant to tell me a bunch of the same stuff they told me two weeks ago and yet still NO refund! read more

Don't by appliances from Home Depot ever for any reason. Called to see if they had a washer and dryer, yes sir, come and get it. Only problem was when I got there the "appliance specialist" basically laughed at me. "Sir these units are for display only" great you should explain that to whoever I spoke to on the phone who instructed me to "come and get it". After inconveniencing the manager with the situation, he informed me there is nothing he can do and informed me if I ordered it they would have it at my door in a hand full of days. Ok. Fine. Order placed. Great. A couple of days prior to delivery we get an email that our order had missed the bus and would be an additional 10 days out. Are you kidding? Finally. Delivery day. Just kidding. Apparently, the delivery truck wasn't able to get in our gate. Only problem the camera on the gate had contractors, residents, and everyone but a delivery truck at and entering the gate. Upon reaching anyone who would take our call we were again informed not to worry, we will have it to you in 10 more days. So 1 month after taking my order, over 20 days after the agreed delivery date, no appliances in sight. It's my opinion that this is sales tactic and not an outlier. We went in to buy a new door handle and lock and were looking at all the selections when Daryl walked up. He spent a lot of time with us showing how the new locks can be "keyed" by the home owner. While we were talking to him, my wife showed him our broken lock. Usually, you have to leave a lock that has to be rebuilt. Daryl rebuilt ours while we were talking to him. It's nearly impossible to find service like that today. Daryl was the very best, and his actions sold us on using this HD as our only home improvement store. read more

We recently ordered two 19" tall toilets from Home Depot. There were six pieces in total. This is the review that I submitted to Home Depot regarding the tanks: Two tanks were ordered online. Only one arrived and it was in pieces. After spending 90 minutes on the phone with HD customer service, they gave us credit for the one that we did not recieve. I was told to re-order, but the tanks were out of stock. Frustrated with HD, we ordered two tanks directly from Kohler. HD customer service was aweful. They appear to be in the business of alienating customers. The broken tank was not properly packed for safe shipping. This was not the carier's fault. It was the fault of the HD warehouse. Why wouldn't they properly pack a, basically, glass tank, for safe shipping? We will have to think long and hard about buying products from HD in the furure. read more

I went in the Bulverde Home Depot looking for kerosene. I asked three different people,and no one could find it. I gave up on the kerosene,and went to the tools. I needed some metric wrenches,and of course they were locked,and I had to find someone. I asked the first guy I saw waking by,and he never stopped walking,and said not my department. I finally found the right person and he was very rude,and said lets go like he was highly bothered. He took the lock off and didn't say a word,and I didn't either. i live almost exactly between 2 Home Depots and also a Lowes. I choose to come to this one, which is the farthest of the 3. there are usually less crowds than the others and it is easier to get to. I usually can find everything I need/want but if I have to ask for help they always know exactly where to go or find someone that does. Very disappointed in the appliance & delivery portion of Home Depot. Ordered a refrigerator & dishwasher from them. Had a lot of problems with the delivery date - the Home Depot appliance person would put in a delivery date & we would get a notice that it was being delivered on 1-2 days after that date. We waited almost 3 weeks for the delivery and the Home Depot employee was frustrated with the delivery portion as well. When the delivery finally happened, the dishwasher was dented so bad that the delivery person started the return process as soon as it was unpacked in the driveway. I called initially on the delivery date to let Home Deport know about the return & dent - they did not have any information on it so I was told to give it a couple of days. I had not heard anything so I called 3 days later only to find out that the new dishwasher was scheduled to be delivered that same day and I had not been given any notice - it is fortunate that I called so we could be home. The dishwasher came and we were informed they couldn't install it because there was a small space between the sink and dishwasher. Fortunately, my husband had disconnected everything on the old dishwasher or they would have not hauled it off - even though we had paid for the service. So very disappointed in the lack of customer service & lack of knowledge of the appliance department. We should have known before the second delivery that it would not be installed. read more

Delivery service called and said their truck had "broken down" and they wouldn't be able to deliver it until two weeks later. Do they only have one truck? Called Home Depot call center and when I asked if we could do a store pickup under the circumstances all Jesse said was "no". Nothing after. Awkward silence. Wow I'm beyond words of how I was treated in the door department. Unfortunately I was to shaken up to remember this guys name but he's a Hispanic 50ish year old guy that wears a little girly lookin diamond earring. Asked for pricing on a door. Long story short it was like pulling teeth to get him to look up anything finally I just said, ya know what I'll just take a door already here cause he was useless on trying to get him to do anything... then we were going to do some more shopping and asked if I could have delivered to the front, he got super pissed and my girlfriend that was with me got pretty freaked out because he started cussing under his breath and asked the door and carried only to the front all pissed off... I spoke to JASON the assistant manager. He seamed pretty upset and said he would take care of it as far as reprimanding him. 3 other employees around the area we're pretty shaken up about it saying how whenever he brought the door up he dropped it real hard and slammed it against the Coke machine not sure if the doors damaged yet or not will see you tomorrow in the daylight. I WILL be following up on this after the first of the year. Just spoke to my brother as well about this incident and come to find out he had issues with him as well. I wonder what other customers he's pissed off and lost Home Depot money we were actually going to purchase more things in the store but was so upset we just decided to just leave!! I was at the Bulverde, Texas Store this morning and had to wait in line due to Covid 19 to enter the store. This is not an issue for me as a senior and I respect the safety of social distancing. However there was not any six foot tape markings like there use to be nor anyone enforced the rule. The person behind me wore no mask and kept moving forward prior to the line moving. He stayed on his phone loudly speaking while crowding which increases the chance of spread. Costco and Sams do it right with clearly marked 6' spacing and an employee watching the line. This deters people acting foolish. I was there to buy a refrigerator water filter, there were two people the desk near the filters and the slot was empty for the LG filter I needed. After looking at all the Home Depot generic filters there was not one that would fit. Found a box on the very top storage area and stood on the bottom shelf to get to the box. No one asked to help a senior (me) what lazy, unfriendly, disrespectful people in this store. I realize people are stressed but a smile and a little service cures many issues. Went in and bought a wine fridge for our new house. It was damaged, bashed in grill on the front. Bought fridge and a pair of Electrolux washer and dryer from them because the doors can be switched on washer and dryer- ordered them swapped- not only did they not come that way- the delivery guys won't/can't do it. Wtf? The new fridge was to be delivered 4/17 with the washer and dryer. It is 4/24 I got the washer and dryer today- a week late- no fridge. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM- you are not important and you are probably going to get your stuff until it is convenient for them. Call the store and sit on hold for HOURS and get hung up on before they actually talk to you. Happened daily. I was courteous but I've reached my limit w this store. read more

As I rolled up I told the checker I am authorized the military discount and would I get the special financing. She was having trouble with both. I told her what I needed three times and she repeated that to me. After ringing this up I saw that the discount was not rung up. She said I had to go to customer service since she rang this up wrong. Zero stars for this store. Unbelievable poor service, poor customer communication and really bad leadership. I won't go into any of the details of how I ordered a frig on July 28th to find out it would be delivered Sept 3 just to find out on sept 3 it would be another two weeks. After speaking to multiple people I asked for the general manager of the store and I was told they had no idea when he would be in. Classic. They said he comes and goes as he pleases. I had them leave him a note to call me and 5 days later crickets. Sad to see service move in this direction at big box stores. Sad that a GM wouldn't have the decency to at least make contact. They always have what we need, the staff couldn't be better, and they are always so friendly. Too bad I can't give a zero rating. Wanted to use curbside pickup for my online order because of COVID-19 but they never picked up the phone. So masked up and went in. Waited at the service counter at least 10 minutes. The associate with an attitude brought my order (2 cases of liquid shock and an 8-foot ladder). Never offered to help or call for loading assistance and just moved on to the next customer. I'm a 5'5" 130-lb woman. Took it out and loaded it myself and will NEVER be back. read more
