I mean, this pretty much was a vintage dream come true. The trailers are so adorable. It's a community of four trailers. They book up really fast, so if you're interested, I'd start looking now. They come with almost everything you'll need for camping, save for food, clothes and booze. So close to the beach, which is secluded and hardly any foot traffic. The views are unbeatable. The trailer is solar and gas powered. Although you can rent a generator to run the microwave, but I mean.. you're camping. There's a communal fire pit and games (our favorite was corn hole) and a private fire pit and grill for every trailer. Our first night there were people in two other trailers, but the last night, it was just us and another couple and they were super friendly and we ended up hanging out most of the night around the fire pit together. The bathrooms are coin operated outside of the trailer, but still super close. I mean, this pretty much is glamping. Treat yo' self, you and your family will not be disappointed.

Wow! This place is one of those gems that childhood dreams are made of! So much fun! Our trailer was clean and adorable! Andy and his wife were amazing ! We will for sure be back! We had quality family time with no tv! Easy walk to the beach. Wish the trailer had bathrooms. ( hard taking a 3 year old in he dark to the bathrooms

Had a blast Vintage Glamping! Great concept. Happy this partnership between State Parks and private business collaborated to bring together such a unique and delightful camping experience. I read about The Holiday's on Trip Advisr and was pleased to find mid-week openings the next week. I paid for one night in advance, but after the fun my granddaughter had that first day, I paid for another night and am glad to have done so. The turquoise and white trailer, "The Drifter" is adorable, as are all four units. Andy, the owner/ manager is friendly, easy to reach by phone, and stops by each day to provide for the needs of his current renters, and to prep for the next to arrive. With an included fridge, freezer, 3 burner stove, plates, cups, mugs, utensils, bbq utensils, sink with running water, heat, ample sleeping for 4, bath towels, beach towels, USB ports, board games, cards, and a bluetooth sound system, the trailer offers plenty of convenience for its diminuative size. For a small extra charge a generator provides AC, microwave and electricity. Each trailer gas picnic table, charcoal bbq, and a firepit... though we joined other campers at the communal firepit and enjoyed making new friends. The Holiday's Community has a shared storage shed filled with complimentary games (Jenga, Cornhole, Horseshoes, oversized Checkers, Bocce Ball, etc.) beach supplies (umbrellas, boogie boards, noodles). The beach is gorgeous... there are two paths to access the beach, one is quite steep and the hike back up is tough. The other path nearest to the Visitor Center is less steep. All in all, big props to The Holiday's! I will definitely be returning.

I absolutely cannot wait to come back! I knew it would be a fun time but wow it exceeded my expectations in the best way possible. The camp site was amazing. They had games that were both child and adult fun. The camper itself was adorable, very clean, and as strange as it sounds I loved the appliances...I was not expecting such an updated stove and fridge. Everything we needed was there from cookware to beach towels, even laminated directions for everything possible (thank goodness), and some fun activity sheets for the kids. The bathrooms were cleaner than I anticipated and the token shower had nice piping hot water. The other guests were very friendly which was great fun, especially for the bonfire at night. But the best part was the beach itself, not only was it beautiful and empty but the water was warm and the color was so rich and deep. And finally the owners were such lovely people! They were helpful with everything and very easy to get ahold of. We are already planning our next trip...leaving was the hardest part!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a couple nights. The vintage trailers were kept up nicely. They are set in the middle of the San Clemente campground. The one we stayed in had a refrigerator and blue tooth system that all work off solar power. The beach is a bit of a walk down a steep paved road. But definitely worth it once your down there. Definitely family friendly.

Loved our stay here! We stayed in their newer green airstream and was super comfortable while still getting the camping experience. The owner Andy was extremely accommodating and truly cared about our needs ! I love supporting small businesses like this and highly recommend.

We had a great stay at The Holidays the inaugural weekend of 7/19! Can't recommend them enough!! Despite the rain, we enjoyed the beach (doesn't get much closer), bbq, making s'mores, biking, playing the various provided games, the sunset, etc. - just a perfect location. Andy, Liz + staff are warm, welcoming, eager to share the camp lifestyle and very helpful. The trailers do have everything you need - just bring your food + clothes (wood too, I believe - my brother in law handled that). Bathrooms/showers conveniently close by as well. I can't wait to return! Hurry up and book 'em while you can!

Great time with our little ones here!!! Made a quick trip camping possible with a toddler preschooler and tween!! The included toys/games were an awesome touch. I recommend walking to the showers on the southwest side, not a lot farther, but better than the closest ones for sure!

Great place to sit and read.

We stayed here recently and had a great time. I referred to it as "glamping", simply because the vintage-like trailers have everything you need, all you have to do is bring your clothes and food. The "community", as they call it, is great for groups, families and friends. If you can rent all 3 (4 if you need an ADA trailer) then you can have your own "glamping" party. The beach is just a 5 minute walk down the hill. Bathrooms/showers are across the way in both directions. This was a fantastic experience. Liz and Andy were so accommodating and met us to show us the ropes of the trailer. Book now, they will fill up fast.

Bags at The Holidays... Just one of the many games in their game shed!

Although I didn't this time around walk to the beach you must if the weather permits. If it's not too hot or too cold. It's a short walk maybe a mile. It's not paved and in some parts it is narrow. It's along side the road but a barrier does separate you from the road. But the beach is beautiful. My campsite on this visit was in the first grouping. I was at campsite 38 which had a water spigot and electrical hookup. Also at the site is a fire ring and wooden picnic table. It had a good size dirt area for a couple of tents. During this visit this time of the year were plenty of squirrels running around. Now I have heard stories of car cables being chewed up at other campgrounds so there could be that possibility here too. When we went for a walk, we noticed a blinking device under someone's truck. Not sure if that was to deter critters. So the dirt area at the site is not level in some spots and there are squirrel holes as well. Wood is available at check in for $10 a bundle. Occasionally the rangers will drive by checking if anyone needs to purchase wood. You have privacy on both sides with the help of some shrubs. Behind the site 38 it is open, but shrubs from other sites help with blocking their site. Since I had privacy on the sides I chose to set up my hammock on one side. The restrooms/showers are just about 7 sites away. Restrooms are pretty clean and showers. Showers are coin operated and they do have a coin machine at one side of the building. I did see the staff there in the mornings cleaning the restrooms. Garbage pick up could be daily at 8 or 9 am. We were there a couple of days when they did pick ups. Staff at the time of my check-in didn't leave a good impression. But I heard the person ahead was not so nice. You will hear traffic noise from the freeway and occasionally artillery training from Camp Pendleton. Views are nice from the sites on the outside of the circle. i would definitely camp here again.

Cons: - 1/2 the bathrooms were closed - T-Mobile Cell Service sucks (If you have a WeBoost, you can get up to 3. Verizon works good. Bars). - Nothing in the immediate area to get supplies, you need to drive out. Pros: - Its away from the freeway, so you don't hear cars - Trail down to the beach (1.5 miles) - Big campground if you have kids and they want to ride bikes around - Huge lots and clean; pave driveways.

Hidden Gem With a Split Personality -- Know What You're Booking…read more Native Falls (formerly Indian Oaks) sits right between Marietta and Temecula wine country, and it's one of those places that can either be exactly what you want... or completely miss the mark depending on expectations. First impression, this place is visually dialed in. The lake, waterfall, oak trees, and overall layout give it a boutique campground feel you don't usually get this close to Temecula. It feels more like a curated outdoor resort than a rough-it campsite. You're minutes from wineries, but once you're inside, it actually feels tucked away. Where it really shines is family-friendly activity level. This is not sit-in-silence camping. You've got swimming, paddleboards, fishing, pickleball, and a beach-style setup that keeps kids busy all day. If you're bringing family, especially younger kids, this place delivers. The staff consistently gets high marks, and that shows up in real-world experience. People mention they're helpful, friendly, and actually engaged, which is rarer than it should be. The Reality Check: "This is where expectations matter." * Not a quiet nature escape This is more "social campground" than "off-grid retreat." Expect kids, music, movement. If you want silence, this isn't it. * Tent sites can be hit or miss Some are close to the road, so you'll get dust and traffic noise. That breaks the illusion pretty quickly. * Still evolving The place is clearly being upgraded. Some areas feel polished, others still feel mid-renovation. Bathrooms and infrastructure can be inconsistent depending on timing. * More "fun zone" than wilderness Think lake day with camping attached, not deep nature immersion. What It Really Is: This is a hybrid between a campground and a low-key outdoor resort. Great for: Families, casual campers, wine country weekends, group trips Not ideal for: Hardcore campers, solitude seekers, or anyone expecting national park-level quiet Bottom Line: If you go in expecting a polished, activity-driven campground with a great setting, you'll probably love it. If you're chasing peace, silence, and raw nature, you'll leave wondering what the hype was about.
