He was pretty angry for not looking up for him. He gave us the bad news that the dump was out of order, and as the main gate fellows, forgot to mention that the showers use tokens and they are sold back at the entrance. Then, being so new at this, I was hesitant and doubtful about parking, but a nice young man helped me. The campground lost stars because of the dump being out of order and PCH traffic noise through the night. We have a small, basic trailer, so is not sound proof. Bring earplugs and close all your windows and vents. Hope you can sleep. The hook up is accesible and easy to use.

Weather was perfect... not too hot or cold. We weren't able to stay for too long as we had another event to attend to that day. We were able to stroll through the area and enjoy the scenic drive. Lots of small shops and restaurants on the main road. It didn't seem too crowded at the time, but then again, it was early morning. I'm sure as the day goes by, there would be more people. Parking was hard to find or perhaps I wasn't looking at the right place. I would love to return here one day to see the sunset from this beach. It is named Sunset Beach so I can imagine how beautiful the sunset would be. Can't wait to find out!

There is free Wi-Fi; however, streaming might have issues when the park is full. Free laundry room! Well kept and modern located with the park restrooms. Our Verizon wireless router seems to have issues between 6 and 8 PM but works fairly good otherwise. Great T-Mobile 5G coverage! There's a small NEX within walking distance. No Restaurant on base however they do offer lunch at the gym/sailor Center during the work week. The gym is a very short walk from the park and is open 24/7! They offer a variety of fitness programs if you would like to participate. Very modern facility and equipment! There are several wonderful restaurants in the area! There's even a great little dive bar called Dave's Other Place where many Sailors stop on their way to Main Street when in port.
